Description

The invention relates to an arrangement of skis and ski boots of the type described in the preamble of claim 1, known from DE-A-31 15 618.

Schlittschuhschritt anwendet. From DE-A-3 115 618 an arrangement of skis and ski boots is known, in which the boot is attached to the ski via a part of the sole which projects forward. When the sole rests on the ski surface, retaining pins arranged one behind the other on the ski surface engage in corresponding counterbores in the shoe sole. This structure results in a relatively firm connection between the ski boot and the ski when the sole of the shoe rests on the ski. If, on the other hand, the sole of the shoe is lifted off the ski when pushing off, the connection via the part of the sole of the shoe which projects forward is relatively unstable, with high torques then having to be transmitted. These torques are particularly high and lead to great stress on the sole of the shoe when the skier uses the so-called skate step.

In the arrangement known from DE-A-3 240 750, this load is avoided in that the ski boot is fastened to the ski within the outline of the boot, so that the fastening point and the area in which the skier pushes off match or are very close lying together.

The known arrangements of skis and ski boots have the disadvantage in common that they do not depend on the type of Have the walking step and adapt to the weather conditions. This is how cross-country skis glide best when the tip of the shoe is in the area of the center of gravity of the ski. If you move the shoe forwards or backwards along the longitudinal axis of the ski, the gliding properties decrease. However, other properties, such as steerability, are better if the shoe is attached further forward or further back.

The invention has for its object to provide an arrangement of ski une ski boot, which enables adaptation to the type of running step and the weather conditions.

This object is achieved on the basis of the generic arrangement of skis and ski boots, according to the invention by means of the characterizing features of patent claim 1.

The general rule is that the ski glides best when the tip of the shoe is in the area of the center of gravity of the ski. The glide decreases when the shoe is moved forwards or backwards along the longitudinal axis of the ski. When using the skate step, it is advisable to arrange the shoe closer to the tip of the ski because the ski will be easier to steer. A similar situation arises when running on ice, hard and wet snow when a significant improvement in ski steering is more important than a certain decrease in the glide of the ski. The possibility of shifting the locking area of the boot along the longitudinal axis of the ski allows the skier to attach the boot to the ski at the optimal location depending on the weather conditions, the profile of the route and the desired step type.

Preferred developments of the arrangement according to the invention are the subject of claims 2 to 4. They enable easier production, more secure connection between the shoe and ski and a more uniform load on the sole of the shoe.

The arrangement of ski and ski boot according to the invention contains retaining pins 1 (FIGS. 1-4) which are attached to a ski 2 along its longitudinal axis and are intended for insertion into counterbores 3 in the sole 4 of a shoe 5, which lie along the longitudinal axis of the shoe 5 . A bow-shaped lock 6 is intended to limit the displacement of the shoe 5 in the vertical plane. For easier assembly and disassembly, the holding pin 1 is made of two parts. The lower part of the pin 1 is for fastening in the body of the ski 2, the upper part of the same for entry into the counter bore 3 of the sole 4 of the Shoe 5 determined. The upper and the lower part of the pin 1 can be separated from one another by a support surface 7, which is used to fasten the arrester 6 to the ski 2 (FIG. 1). To simplify the manufacture of the ski binding, the retaining pins 1 can be arranged on a plate 8 (FIGS. 3-4), in which bores 9 are made for fixing the same to the ski, for pushing through fastening elements (not shown).

In the embodiment of the arrangement shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, two holes 3 are made in the sole 4 of the shoe 5, one of which is intended for inserting one of the pins 1, while the other is designed in the form of a longitudinal groove 10, into which the remaining pins 1 are inserted. In this form of erection, the arrester 6 (FIG. 5) is designed in the form of a rod which projects through the sole 4 into the bore 3 for connection to a corresponding pin 1.

In order to make the sole 4 more flexible in the vertical plane parallel to the longitudinal axis of the ski 2, 4 grooves 11 are made in the sole. To increase the torsional rigidity of the sole 4, stiffening ribs 12 (FIGS. 5-9) are embodied in the latter.

Die Stifte 1 sind bei dieser Ausführungsform zur Begrenzung der Verschiebung des Schuhes 5 relativ zur Längsachse des Skis 2 bestimmt, während der Vorsprung 13 zur Begrenzung von seitlichen Verschiebungen des Schuhs 5 dient.10-11 shows an embodiment of the arrangement according to the invention in which a part of the pins 1 is rigidly connected to one another between the edge pins 1, as a result of which a longitudinal projection 13 is formed. The two edge pins 1 and the projection 13 are intended for insertion into associated counter-bores 3 and the groove 10 in the sole 4 of the shoe 5 (not shown). In this embodiment, the pins 1 are intended to limit the displacement of the shoe 5 relative to the longitudinal axis of the ski 2, while the projection 13 serves to limit lateral displacements of the shoe 5.

The arrangement of the pins 1 along the longitudinal axis of the ski 2 makes it possible to move the shoe 5 along the axis of the ski 2 and to fix it. When fixing of the shoe 5 on the pin 1 closest to the tip of the ski 2, the conditions for the use of the skate by the skier are improved thanks to the safe steering of the tip of the ski 2. The remaining pins 1 enter the bores 3 of the sole 4 of the shoe 5 and counteract the rotation of the sole 4 of the shoe 5 when the skier pushes off, whereby the first pin on which the shoe 5 is fixed is relieved.

The arrangement of the pins 1 along the axis of the ski 2 preferably takes place at such a distance from one another that, in the event of any bending of the sole 4 of the shoe 5 which occurs during skiing, at least two pins lying along the longitudinal axis of the ski 2 do not come out of the bore 3 or step out of the groove 10.

The brake 6 (Fig.5) is arranged in the sole 4 of the shoe 5 with the aim that the shoe 5 can be fastened to any pin 1 by means of only one brake 6. The brake 6 is arranged in the sole 4 such that the Neighboring pins 1 do not hinder the fixing and releasing of the shoe 5.

To fix the shoe 5 (FIG. 1), a holding pin 1 and a counterbore 3 in the sole 4 must be brought into line. Then a force must be applied so that the pin 1 enters the hole 3. When the pin 1 is inserted into the bore 3, the tip part of the sole 4 of the shoe 5 pushes the stop 6 away. After the pin 1 has been inserted into the bore 3, the arrester 6 comprises the sole 4 of the shoe 5 from above. In the embodiment of the arrangement shown in FIG. 5, the pin 1 pushes the arrester 6 away by entering the bore 3. After the axes of the lock 6 and the counterbore (not shown) in the pin 1 have been brought into line, the lock 6 occurs under the effect of the force exerted by the skier into the hole in the pin 1 and fixes the sole 4 of the shoe 5 to the ski 2. To release the shoe 5, a force must be applied in the direction away from the pin 1 along the axis of the lock 6 . As soon as the arrester 6 has emerged from the bore of the pin 1, the shoe 5 is released.
