Diese bekannte Anordnung besteht darin, daß der eigentliche Türgriff in einer in der Karosserie ausgeformten Griffmulde versenkbar ist, so daß er in seiner Ruhestellung mit seiner Außenkontur bündig mit der Außenkontur der Karosserie liegt. Zum Öffnen der Tür wird dieser Türgriff aus seiner Griffmulde um eine vertikale, mit der Karosserie im wesentlichen bündigen Achse einseitig in eine Bereitschaftsstellung herausgeschwenkt und kann dann an der herausgeschwenkten Rückseite erfaßt werden, so daß dadurch ein Aufziehen der Tür möglich ist. Zur besseren Führung des eigentlichen Griffes sind Stützschenkel vorgesehen, die durch die Griffmulde zur Rückseite der Karosserie führen. Zum Schließen der Tür ist bei dieser bekannten Anordnung aber das Ergreifen der Außenseite des Betätigungsgriffes notwendig, so daß dann der hier verschmutzte Griff mit der Betätigungshand in Berührung kommt. Bei der bekannten Anordnung schwenkt der in einer Griffmulde versenktliegende Türgriff um eine vertikale Achse nach außen auf. Die obere und untere Kante des Türgriffes ist, auch wenn sie in einer Griffmulde liegt, der Verschmutzung ausgesetzt. Diese Verschmutzung spielt bei einem horizontalen Aufklappen der Tür deshalb keine Rolle, da der Griff hintergriffen werden kann, ohne daß man mit der oberen und unteren Kante des Griffes in Kontakt kommt.
