Abstract

Beim Stranggießen von Stahl wird der gegossene Strang mittels einer Antriebsvorrichtung aus einer Durchlaufkokille und einer Sekundärkühlzone ausgezogen. Bei Störungen in der Stahlanlieferung oder bei einem Zwischengefässwechsel muss die Stahlzufuhr in die Kokille und die Strangauszugsbe­ wegung stillgesetzt werden, was zu Strangfehlern und zu Ma­ schinenschäden führen kann.
Um diese Nachteile auszuschalten, wird vorgeschlagen, bei einem Unterbruch der Stahlzufuhr dem gegossenen Strang (4) durch wechselweises Ausziehen und Zurückstoßen eine Oszillationsbewegung aufzubringen und zwischen der Strang­ oberfläche und Strangführungs- (7) und Treibrollen (8, 9) im wesentlichen ohne Unterbruch eine Relativbewegung zu er­ zeugen.
