Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an encapsulated, non-detachable electrical conductor connection in the field of electrical installation, telecommunications technology and electrical device and electrical system construction using a connecting sleeve made of insulating material and a method for its production.
In the entire field of electrical engineering, in addition to mechanical strength, a permanent, long-term low contact resistance is required when connecting electrical conductors. The conditions set are met by integral connections, but such connections are usually too expensive. In contrast, non-positive and form-fitting electrical connections by screws, presses, clamps etc. can be produced with less effort, but they always require metallic fittings and are therefore susceptible to corrosive stresses. In addition, special measures for protection against accidental contact are required, since the metal fittings are at the electrical potential of the connected conductors.
From the beginning of electrical engineering, twisting of the conductors has been known as a method for connecting conductors. This simple process, at that time limited to copper conductors, does not meet today's requirements for an electrical connection in its original form, especially since aluminum has been added as the conductor material, which is more difficult to master than copper in terms of connection technology.
The electrical wire connector (OS -23 20 854) is based on the twisting of two conductors especially for the connection and for the series connection of electrical detonators. The CH-PS 55 04 91 proposes a wire connector that is screwed onto a number of electrical conductor ends and thereby connects them. A pointed helical spring serves as the fastening element, which is made corrosion-resistant with a zinc coating and provided with a wax coating which acts as a lubricant. An insulating socket is also provided.
A similar principle is based on the so-called Konex clamp, which uses a metal part with a conical internal thread, which is also screwed onto the conductor.
Common to all these solutions is the disadvantage that an additional metallic part is required which consists of a different material than the conductor. Therefore special measures for corrosion protection and protection against contact are required. If no corrosion protection measures are provided, such connections can only be used to a limited extent, and there is a risk that the contact resistance will increase and exceed the permissible limit. For the same reason, the connectors mentioned are also not very suitable, conductors made of different materials, e.g. B. copper and aluminum to connect.
The aim of the invention is to create a corrosion-proof connection of two-conductor and multi-conductor combinations with a connecting sleeve made of insulating material without the use of additional elements regardless of the conductor material, so that no corrosive influences have to be feared even when connecting conductors made of different materials.
The object of the invention is to achieve a completely insulated encapsulation of the conductor connection. The contact resistance of the connection should be small, the manufacture simple and possible in a short time. With the implementation of encapsulated conductor connections, a good material economy is to be achieved compared to the previously known connection methods. It is also sought to detect at least two conductor cross sections with a connecting sleeve, for. B. 1.5 mm 'and 2.5 mm 2 or 4 mm 2 and 6 mm 2 and a visual inspection of the connection made possible.
A connection sleeve, which has three differently designed cross-sectional areas .., is used to implement the encapsulated permanent connection. The holding area arranged at the end of the sleeve has a receptacle on the inside which is adapted to the number of conductors and the conductor cross section connecting conductor and outside at least two key surfaces. The holding area consists of two different cross-sectional shapes arranged one behind the other, the upper part for holding four conductors and the lower part for two conductors being designed such that two opposing holding engravings of the upper part are tapered into the lower part.
The middle contact area has pressure ribs adapted to the number of conductors, the spacing diameter of which is smaller than the diameter of the twisted connection, so that the pressure ribs, in cooperation with thinner wall parts in between, i.e. elastic zones, exert a contact pressure on the twisted conductors. The pressure ribs can be rectangular in cross-section or tapered radially towards the inside of the sleeve.
The encapsulation area forming the sleeve entrance corresponds in its inner diameter to the circumference of the insulated conductors.
B. Si02, bestehen. The connecting sleeve according to the invention is completely or partially filled with a carrier substance in which contact-improving means are embedded. The carrier substance can be an adhesive or a fat, e.g. B. technical petroleum jelly. The contact-improving agent can consist of non-metallic particles, e.g. B. Si0 2 exist.
Am Hülseneingang schließt die Trägersubstanz die Leiterverbindung luftdicht ab.The method for producing the encapsulated, non-detachable electrical conductor connection is characterized in that the stripped ends of the solid and / or flexible conductors to be connected are inserted into the holding area of the connecting sleeve described above and by twisting the connecting sleeve by at least one turn relative to the conductors fixed at the sleeve entrance the stripped conductor parts are twisted. The contact-improving agents in the form of small particles, embedded in a carrier substance, fill in the remaining cavities and penetrate into the conductor material at the points where metallic conductors come into contact and cause current-conducting bridges with low resistance. At the points of contact of the conductors with pressure ribs of the connecting sleeve, the contact-improving means clamp. The carrier substance closes the conductor connection airtight at the sleeve entrance.
The long-term maintenance of the initial viscosity when using an adhesive as a carrier substance is achieved by a separating layer from the outside air, which is destroyed when the conductor is inserted into the connecting sleeve.
After binding with the connecting sleeve and the twisted conductors, the adhesive forms a compact body and, including the conductor insulation, results in a completely insulated encapsulation of the metallic conductors.

The contact-improving agent 4 can consist of non-conductive particles, for. B. Si0 2 , exist and the carrier substance, in which the contact-improving agent 4 is embedded, can be an adhesive.
Ein geringfügiges Verdrillen der isolierten Leiter 1 erfolgt im Kapselungsbereich 9.According to FIG. 2, the connecting
Eine exakte Beschreibung des Wirkmechanismus zur Herstellung gekapselter Leiterverbindungen erfolgt anhand von Fig. 3 bis Fig. 11.A precise description of the mechanism of action for producing encapsulated conductor connections is given with reference to FIGS. 3 to 11.
The holding
When producing the
In the

The

The completely closed design of the conductor connection does not allow control of the degree of twist, so that subjective influences can be effective.
