Definitions

  • the invention relates to a connecting piece for angularly abutting hollow profile bars, in particular for window frames, which is inserted into the end face of a cavity of a frame bar and is fastened to the frame bar to be connected and has at least one anti-rotation projection which acts on the frame bar to be connected and which has at least one of the connecting piece from the projection area of the receiving rod cross-section on the connecting rod in one direction of this connecting rod projecting arm, which has a parallel to the receiving rod and to be fixed fastening leg.
  • Such a connector is known from DE-OS 2221 641. Its fastening legs are inserted with undercuts in undercuts of the receiving bar and clamped to these undercuts by screwing supporting screws of the securing legs onto the receiving bar and thus pressing the connecting piece away from the receiving bar against webs forming the undercuts. Because of the resulting distance between the fastening legs and the adjacent rod surfaces, the known connecting piece results in only an insufficient fastening effect between the frame rods to be connected to one another.
  • a connecting piece with alignment strips is known, each of which is arranged parallel to the receiving rod by a projection projecting in the direction of the connecting rod. They serve to bring stop webs of the two frame rods to be connected to one another in such a plane that an aligned fastening of the two profiles can take place with one another. These alignment strips are not used to fasten the hollow profiles together.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of improving a frame of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that the required connection rigidity is ensured, in particular with respect to torsional stresses, but at the same time a handsome appearance of the corner connection is also to be achieved.
  • the object is achieved in that the fastening leg of the fastening of the latter to the upper flap profile of the receiving rod and the connecting rod has fastening bores for fastening screws or rivets.
  • fastening legs of the connecting piece can be screwed or riveted to the receiving rod. This significantly stiffens the connection area of the frame bars, even against torsional stress.
  • the one or more attachment legs can be designed so that the user of the connecting piece can only attach it in a predetermined manner.
  • the arm and / or the fastening legs are angular and / or have fastening bores.
  • the connecting piece and / or its anti-rotation projection is glued to the arm and / or the fastening leg on the receiving rod. This eliminates the need for a screw connection between the connecting piece and the holding rod.
  • the receiving rod is fitted between two fastening legs of two arms of the anti-rotation projection, which ensures that the connector is held in the correct position on the receiving rod. This adjustment also allows any holes to be prefabricated in the frame bars without fear of subsequent adjustment problems.
  • the connector on the outside of the window has a recess for receiving a recess of a rollover profile of the connecting rod and its elastic sealing strip.
  • the central body of the connecting piece is longitudinally divided and the two partial pieces each have coordinated holding parts which position the engagement recess with respect to the profile bar to be connected.
  • the connecting piece is so in two parts that its parts can be assembled more or less tightly, so that the engagement recess can be brought into the correct position for the positive fixing of the receiving rod and at the same time the entire width of the hollow chamber of the receiving rod receiving the central body is filled, so that the connecting piece sits in the desired manner in a rotationally fixed manner in the receiving rod.
  • the configuration of the central body according to the invention has the effect that both engagement recesses can be arranged in the respectively required position relative to the receiving rod.
  • one section has a fork-shaped or hollow box-shaped profile and the other section is profiled in a fork-shaped manner and grips around the former section in the direction of the anti-rotation arm.
  • the two sections of the connecting piece can be assembled in such a way that they act as one piece in the directions of the anti-rotation arm.
  • This assembly of the sections of the The connector is easier to use than two separate parts that must be used independently.
  • the parts can be assembled in the factory to match the respective chamber dimensions, but it is also possible to change the engagement position of the engagement recess or two engagement recesses on site.
  • the holding parts of the sections are toothings of the contact surfaces of the two sections arranged in the longitudinal direction thereof. Toothings only allow a gradual adjustment of the two sections, but the toothing can be done with a sufficiently fine division and / or with relative displacement in a known manner in such a way that the required fine adjustment can be ensured. It should also be taken into account that the hollow profiles usually have comparatively large tolerances anyway, which must be compensated for by tolerance ribs of the connecting piece, so that an excessively fine tooth pitch is not important.
  • the fork ends of one section are secured on their sides facing away from the other section by protrusions fixed thereon against bending.
  • protrusions fixed thereon against bending.
  • Such securing of the fork ends of a section against bending is usually not required if the connecting piece is made of die-cast zinc, since then the required rigidity is sufficient to maintain the mutual engagement of the two sections.
  • the securing projections can be advantageous in the case of particularly heavy loads and when the material of the connecting piece permits relative deformations of the sections, for example a plastic.
  • a connector 12 shown in simplified form in FIG. 1 is shown with a frame rod 10, which is also simplified and only shown with one half.
  • the connecting piece 12 has a central body 27 in the form of a cuboid, which is inserted into a cavity 13 of the frame bar 10 designed as a hollow profile bar.
  • the insertion depth of a steel pipe, not shown, which stiffens the frame rod 10 made of plastic, is determined by an insertion stop 29 which, according to FIG. 1, is designed as a shoulder running around the cuboid or the connecting piece 12, but can also have any other shape , for example, the canopy shape shown in FIGS. 2 to 4.
  • the central body 27 has guide ribs 28 with which it is guided in the cavity 13. It is hollow to save weight and material.
  • the connecting body 12 has a rotational locking projection 14 below the insertion stop 29.
  • connection point 18 according to FIG. 3, which has a threaded sleeve 30 for screwing in a fastening screw, not shown, which engages on the connecting rod 11 shown in FIG. With such a fastening screw, the connecting rod 11 is releasably attached to the connecting piece 12.
  • a fastening leg 21, 22 is attached to each arm 19, 20 of the anti-rotation projection 14.
  • Each mounting leg 21, 22 runs parallel to the receiving rod 10 -from the connecting rod 11. From Fig. 1 it can be seen that the fastening legs 21, 22 are angular and accordingly fit into the angle which is formed by the rollover profile 16 and the profile wall 31 defining the cavity 13.
  • the parallel leg 35 parallel to the rollover profile 16 has the fastening holes 33 shown in FIG. 2, through which fastening screws (not shown) can be screwed into the rollover profile 16 of the receiving rod 10 and the connecting rod 11. Riveting is also possible. Fastening the arms 19, 20 to the connecting rod 1 is also an option, in particular if the arms 19 ', 20' according to FIGS. 5b to 5d are long.
  • the parallel to the profile wall 31 angle leg 32 fits between the rollover profile 16 and a window inside bar 17, whereby the connector 12 is positioned perpendicular to the frame plane.
  • the receiving rod 10 fits between the two fastening legs 21, 22 of the anti-rotation projection 14, the profile wall 31 and a corresponding opposite profile wall being tightly enclosed, so that the position of the connecting piece 12 is also fixed horizontally in the frame plane. It is also a glue of the Connecting piece 12 or the arms 19, 20 and / or its fastening legs 21, 22, each with two angular outer surfaces possible.
  • FIG. 1 shows the edge of the connecting rod on the receiving rod at the height of the insertion stop 29. It goes without saying, however, that the receiving rod 10 according to FIG. 2 is pulled down to the connecting rod 11 except in the area of the flap 16 of the connecting rod 11 in order to avoid exposed regions of the connecting piece 12 or of the anti-rotation projection 14.
  • Fig. 2 a partial cross section of a connecting rod 11 is shown, the connector side has a seal holding profile 15, in which an elastic sealing strip is fastened in a generally known manner in a region of the window frame to be sealed.
  • the connecting piece 12 or the anti-rotation protrusion 14 has a correspondingly profiled recess 26.
  • connection profile 11 has a frame rollover profile 16 which has a fastening groove 34 for an elastic sealing strip and a recess 25 for which the connecting piece 12 or the fastening legs 21, 22 of the anti-rotation projection 14 have a recess 24.
  • the elastic sealing strip can run continuously through the recess 24.
  • 5a to 5c show, in principle, identically designed receiving and connecting profiles 10, 11 with differently designed connecting pieces 12.
  • the connecting piece 12 of FIG. 5a corresponds to that shown in FIGS. 1 to 4.
  • the connecting piece 12 of FIG. 5b additionally has arms 19 ', 20' projecting far beyond the width of the receiving profile 10.
  • the connecting piece 12 of FIG. 5c corresponds in principle to that of FIG. 5b, but is designed for one-sided loading, that is to say it dispenses with the arm 19 'and the fastening leg 21.
  • This connecting piece 12 of FIG. 5c can also be designed in accordance with the frame Fig. 5d can be used.
  • 5a to 5c show a receiving rod 10 designed as a fighter or frame, the frame rods 10, 11 form a corner with a butt joint.
  • the connecting piece 12 shown in FIG. 6 has a central body 41 which consists of two sections 42, 43. This central body 41 extends in the longitudinal direction of a receiving rod 53, cf. Fig. 7, in the rod cavity 44 he is inserted from an end face of the receiving rod 53 forth.
  • Each section 42, 43 is firmly connected to a mounting plate 45, 46, preferably in one piece.
  • the mounting plates 45, 46 are fastened with the fastening screws 47 shown schematically in the figures to a profile bar 48 to be connected.
  • each fastening plate 45, 46 which, with the adjacent wall 50 of a section, form an engagement recess 51 for mutually opposite wall sections 52 of the receiving rod 53, so that it is positively fixed in the directions 54 of the profile rod 48 to be connected
  • each of the sections 42, 43 is provided with an engagement recess 51 assigned to it.
  • the engagement recesses 51 can also be formed in other ways.
  • the mounting plates 45, 46 of the connecting piece 12 project according to FIG. 7 in the directions 54 of the profile bar 48 to be connected, that is, out of the projection area of the receiving bar 53 onto the profile bar 48 to be connected and in this way each form an anti-rotation arm of the connecting piece 12.
  • the mounting plate 45 has further securing projections 55 extending in the same direction.
  • the securing projections 55 secure the section 43 against the bending of its fork-shaped ends particularly when the sections 42, 43 according to FIG. 6 are arranged far apart in the directions 54 of the connecting rod 48.
  • the sections 42, 43 of the central body 41 are each fork-shaped according to FIG. 6.
  • the section 43 clasps with its inner walls 56 the outer walls 57 of the fork-shaped section 42.
  • the securing projections 55 arranged on both sides of the section 43 on its outer walls according to FIG. 7 prevent the fork ends 58 from being able to bend open due to corresponding loads on the hollow profile bars 48, 53 and the clamp engagement of the sections 42, 43 is lost.
  • This clamp engagement which prevents an adjustment of the sections 42, 43 in the directions 54 of the rod 48 to be connected, is ensured by holding parts 59 on the inner walls 56 of the section 43 and on the outer walls 57 of the section 42. 6, 7, these holding parts 59 are ribs or toothings running in the longitudinal direction of the sections 42, 43. With these toothings, the two sections 42, 43 can be pushed together in the toothing direction, whereby their assembly is achieved, but a transverse offset is not possible.
  • This assembly of the sections 42, 43 can be corrected in a simple manner, so that the distance between the walls 50 of the sections 42, 43 is changed accordingly and thus the position of the engagement points 51. As a result, any adjustment to the chamber dimension of the receiving rod 53 is easy possible.
  • the five positions 60 of the wall 50 of the section 42 are shown and accordingly the relative pitches of the engagement recesses 51 can be adjusted five times.
  • the connector 12 'shown in Fig. 7 differs from the connector 12 of Fig. 6 essentially by a hollow box-shaped design of its portion 42, what gives the connector 12 'a correspondingly greater rigidity.
  • tolerance ribs 61 are also shown on the webs 49 of the mounting plates 45, 46 and on the walls 50 of the sections 42, 43, so that the chamber walls 52 of the receiving rod 53 are kept tolerance-free in the engagement points 51.
  • the connecting rod 53 is arranged on the rod 48 to be connected as a fighter such that both hollow profile rods 48, 53 are aligned on the outside and inside of the window, the rollovers 63 of the two hollow profile rods 48, 53 also being flush.
