Definitions
- the invention relates to a sweeper with two on a bogie or support frame essentially symmetrical to its longitudinal center axis extending in the direction of travel about vertical axes pivotable and height-adjustable broom rollers and arranged in a direction behind the broom and transverse to the longitudinal center axis of the bogie or support frame in a housing Pick-up roller, which conveys the sweepings picked up by it into a conveyor shaft of the housing.
- the pick-up roller arranged in the chassis behind the two sweeping rollers or snow plows in the direction of travel can be designed as a normal bristle sweeper roller or as a snow blower, so that the sweeping material or swaths accumulated in the middle of the vehicle by the sweeping rollers or snow plows
- a screw conveyor is arranged at the front of a motor vehicle and is arranged essentially transversely to its direction of travel and is driven in the same direction of rotation as the wheels rotate when the motor vehicle is moving forward.
- the screw conveyor is held at a distance from the floor by means of an air cushion device which is supplied with compressed air by a compressor. It transports the snow to be cleared from the outside to the center, from where it is conveyed into an ejection chute by means of a paddle or impeller.
- the air cushion device has a tube connected to the compressor, which is arranged parallel to the screw conveyor directly behind it near the ground and has a blow slot through which compressed air is blown onto the ground at a speed of at least 85 km / h under the screw conveyor. The air flow should lift the snow lying on the ground from the ground and bring it into the detection area of the screw conveyor.
- the use of a compressor for generating the air flow means a very high production effort, a noisy, noisy operation and also a relatively small working width, which essentially depends on the performance of the compressor.
- the present invention has for its object to improve a sweeper of the type mentioned so that it is able to clear roads, runways and runways of airports quickly and completely from snow, i.e. carry out a so-called black clearance, in which no snow remains remain on the area to be cleared.
- a second pick-up roller which is designed as a sweeping roller and runs parallel to it and also conveys the debris picked up by it into the conveying shaft.
- the sweeping spinner according to the invention combines both units with the effect that both can work optimally for each other and as a result of the work leave a completely clean, ie snow-free traffic area.
- the particular advantage of the embodiment according to claim 2 is that it has the advantageous properties of both a conventional sweeper equipped with bristle broom rollers and the advantageous properties of a snow clearing machine specially provided with snow plowshares combined, in which the snow plowshares essentially carry out the rough snow removal in a conventional manner, while the broom rollers arranged behind each capture and remove the snow residues that cannot be captured by the snow plow shares.
- the amount of snow to be grasped or picked up by the sweeping rollers is reduced by the snow plows in front of them or in such a way that the sweeping rollers are not impaired in their work performance, and therefore can optimally perform their cleaning function.
- the curtain provided according to claim 3 between the two front sweeping rollers ensures; that the clearing or sweeping goods carried by the snow plowshares and the sweeping rollers in each case towards the center do not lie opposite each other beyond the longitudinal center of the vehicle de clearing unit is thrown, but that it falls to the ground in the middle where it is supposed to arrive and is piled up like a swath.
- the operation of the front sweeper rollers is favorably influenced insofar as no snow piles can accumulate between the sweeper rollers and the snow plows in front of them, which could impair the quality of work of the sweeper rollers.
- the provided according to claim 7 covers of the sweeping rollers allow them to run at a relatively high speed and ensure that the amounts of snow detected by the sweeping rollers are not thrown upwards in the vertical direction.
- the embodiment of the invention is provided according to claim 8, wherein the. directly behind the scraper bar arranged as a snow blower roller ensures that the snow transported by the sweeping rollers towards the center, accumulated in swathes of snow, is at least almost completely absorbed by the snow blower roller and that the pick-up roller arranged behind it as a sweeping roller has only a small remnant left for removal .
- the sweeper blower shown in the drawing has two sweeping rollers 1 and 1 ', which are shielded from above by a cover 3 and in front of which snow plowshares 2 and 2' are arranged.
- the two sweeping rollers 1 and 1 ' are each in vertical guides by means of tilting joints 6 vertically movably mounted in slides 11, which together with the covers 3 each form a supporting frame, which are pivotally articulated to the front on a supporting frame 4 'by joints 19 and 19' symmetrically to a longitudinal central axis 18, so that they can be moved from a working position in which the
- Axes of the sweeping rollers each form an angle ⁇ of a maximum of 60 ° with the longitudinal central axis, can be brought into a so-called rest position, in which their axes run parallel to the longitudinal central axis 18.
- the right sweeping roller 1 ' is shown in its rest position, while the left sweeping roller 1 assumes its working position.
- the choice of an operating speed between 500 and 700 rpm, a roller diameter of 550-700 mm and the provision of relatively stiff plastic bristles results in a floating position of the sweeping rollers 1 and 1 'with a reliable ground adaptation and a sufficient contact pressure on the work to be cleaned - Or traffic area 20, which ensure an optimal sweeping effect.
- the sweeping rollers 1 and 1 ' are preferably driven hydraulically. Characterized in that the sweeping rollers 1 and 1 'in their operating position enclose an angle of at most 120 ° between them, the bisector of which forms the longitudinal central axis 18, when driving in the direction of arrow 21 of the snow plowshares 2, 2' or from the arranged immediately behind sweeping rollers 1 and l 'snow transported to the center.
- a vertical curtain 10' which does not reach all the way to the ground, that is to say on the traffic or work surface 20, on which the swept material thrown towards the center is collected, falls to the ground and thus falls to the longitudinal central axis 18 symmetrical swath-like accumulation of the sweepings or snow.
- the height of the snow plow shares 2 is kept so small that it corresponds to at most half the diameter of a sweeper roller 1, 1', and there are baffles 12 arranged on the back of the snow plow shares 2 and 2 ', with the sweeper rollers 1, 1 'each form a conveyor gap 13 through which the debris or the snow remnants caught by the sweeping rollers are thrown forward over the snow plow shares 2, 2', in order to then be gripped by the snow plow shares and transported to the center.
- the support frame 4 ' is provided with a housing 4, the min least has an ejection chute 7. It is suspended in a height-adjustable manner on a rescue vehicle, not shown, by means of a cantilever arm and lifting link 16.
- a rotatingly driven pick-up roller designed as a snow blower roller 8 is arranged running transversely to the longitudinal central axis 18, behind which a scraper bar 14 is located in the immediate vicinity.
- a second pick-up roller 9 designed as a sweeping roller is arranged parallel to it, the task of which is to pick up the snow remnants not captured by the snow blower roller 8 and the scraper bar 14 and also to convey them into the conveyor shaft 7 of the housing 4.
- an oblique guide wall 15 is arranged between the snow milling roller 8 and the pick-up roller 9, which space 14 'is assigned to the snow-milling roller 8 and connects the conveyor shaft 7, from a channel 15' assigned to the pick-up roller 9 for the purpose of separately feeding the sweepings to the shaft 7 separates. A disturbance of the two sweepings flows to the conveyor shaft 7 is prevented by the guide wall 15.
- the pick-up roller designed as a snow-milling roller 8 has to convey a substantially larger amount of sweepings or snow into the conveying shaft 7 than the pick-up roller 9 arranged behind it, which performs the function of a sweeping roller and is also designed as such and has only the task of the snow remnants not captured by the snow milling roller 8 or the scraper bar 9 and through the channel 15 'to convey into the shaft 7.
- Both the snow blower roller 8 and the take-up roller 9 are preferably driven hydraulically at sufficiently high speeds in each case so that the material picked up by them from the work or traffic area 20 with sufficient ejection speed into the conveyor shaft and through this, if appropriate, into a container, trailer or simply is thrown sideways into the terrain.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a sweeper with two on a bogie or support frame essentially symmetrical to its longitudinal center axis extending in the direction of travel about vertical axes pivotable and height-adjustable broom rollers and arranged in a direction behind the broom and transverse to the longitudinal center axis of the bogie or support frame in a housing Pick-up roller, which conveys the sweepings picked up by it into a conveyor shaft of the housing.
In a known one, alternately for sweeping and for snow clear suitable road maintenance machine of the type mentioned above (DE-OS 1 534 143) are arranged on a self-propelled chassis on the front, on both sides of the cab, on hydraulically or pneumatically actuated handlebars, symmetrically to the longitudinal central axis, two bristle sweeping rollers which are replaced by snow plows for the purpose of clearing snow can be and which are both adjustable in height and pivotable with respect to their angular position to the longitudinal center axis of the chassis. The pick-up roller arranged in the chassis behind the two sweeping rollers or snow plows in the direction of travel can be designed as a normal bristle sweeper roller or as a snow blower, so that the sweeping material or swaths accumulated in the middle of the vehicle by the sweeping rollers or snow plows
The interchangeability of the pick-up roller by means of a snow blower and the sweeping roller by means of snow plows, which is provided in this road maintenance machine, makes it possible to use this machine alternately as a sweeper or as a snow clearing device. However, their spatial properties as snow removal equipment are no better than those of a normal snow plow, which means that so-called black clearance, ie complete removal of the snow from a traffic area to be cleared, is not possible. With the snow plows and a snow blower alone, the snow stuck to the ground to be cleared or lying in depressions cannot be removed because experience has shown Snow plows, gliding over tightly pressed or deep snow.
In another known snow removal device, a screw conveyor is arranged at the front of a motor vehicle and is arranged essentially transversely to its direction of travel and is driven in the same direction of rotation as the wheels rotate when the motor vehicle is moving forward. The screw conveyor is held at a distance from the floor by means of an air cushion device which is supplied with compressed air by a compressor. It transports the snow to be cleared from the outside to the center, from where it is conveyed into an ejection chute by means of a paddle or impeller. The air cushion device has a tube connected to the compressor, which is arranged parallel to the screw conveyor directly behind it near the ground and has a blow slot through which compressed air is blown onto the ground at a speed of at least 85 km / h under the screw conveyor. The air flow should lift the snow lying on the ground from the ground and bring it into the detection area of the screw conveyor.
In addition to the fact that only loose or loose snow can be removed from the ground in this way, but stuck or pressed snow spots cannot be removed, the use of a compressor for generating the air flow means a very high production effort, a noisy, noisy operation and also a relatively small working width, which essentially depends on the performance of the compressor.
Also in other known street sweepers (DE-PS 925 777, US Pat. No. 1,107,564) which are provided with sweeping rollers arranged at an obtuse angle to one another and a pick-up roller arranged in the center thereof, they cannot simply remove normal wet or dry or moistened road dirt however, can be used for snow removal.
The present invention has for its object to improve a sweeper of the type mentioned so that it is able to clear roads, runways and runways of airports quickly and completely from snow, i.e. carry out a so-called black clearance, in which no snow remains remain on the area to be cleared.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that behind the pick-up roller designed as a snow blower roller there is arranged a second pick-up roller which is designed as a sweeping roller and runs parallel to it and also conveys the debris picked up by it into the conveying shaft.
While a snow blower alone is just as unsuitable, one complete, ie complete snow removal like a sweeper roller alone, the sweeping spinner according to the invention combines both units with the effect that both can work optimally for each other and as a result of the work leave a completely clean, ie snow-free traffic area.
The particular advantage of the embodiment according to
The curtain provided according to
By the design of the invention according to
By designing the invention according to
The provided according to
So that the pick-up roller designed as a snow blower on the one hand and the pick-up roller designed as a sweeping roller on the other hand are picked up by the pick-up roller and into the conveyor shaft snow masses thrown unhindered into the conveyor shaft, the embodiment of the invention is provided according to
The floating bearing of the sweeping rollers according to
- Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht der erfindungsgemäßen Kehrschleuder;
- Fig. 3 eine Kehrwalze in Seitenansicht.
- Figure 1 is a plan view of the sweeping spinner according to the invention.
- Fig. 2 is a side view of the sweeper and shown in Fig. 1
- Fig. 3 is a sweeper roller in side view.
Axes of the sweeping rollers each form an angle α of a maximum of 60 ° with the longitudinal central axis, can be brought into a so-called rest position, in which their axes run parallel to the longitudinal
So that the snow residues picked up by the
With low snow depths and dry, loose snow, the snow plow shares are not necessary.
