Bei Schön- und Widerdruck wird der schon einseitig bedruckte Bogen 1 vom Greiferwagen 2 über die Zuführtrommel bzw. Sauglufttrommel 3 soweit hinweg geführt, bis sich das Bogenende in der Wendeposition befindet. In dieser Position wird nun das Bogenende vom ersten Greifersystem 4 der Wendetrommel 5 erfaßt und während dem Weitertransport an das zweite Greifersystem 6 der Wendetrommel 5 übergeben. Gleichzeitig wird der Bogen 1 vom Greiferwagen 2 noch solange geführt, bis die Greiferöffnungskurve, im Bogenabgang unten, den Bogen freigibt. Der bisherige Bogenanfang wird jetzt zum Bogenende. Höhenverstellbare Greiferauflagen für Wendetrommelgreifer in Wendetrommeln von Schön- und Widerdruckmaschinen, die den Bogen durch zwei korrelativ zusammenwirkende Greifersysteme wenden, welche an kurvengesteuerten und durch Rückholfedern beaufschlagten Schwenkwellen angeordnet sind, wobei jedem Wendetrommelgreifer eine Greiferauflage zugeordnet ist, deren Auflagehalterung an der Schwenkwelle befestigt ist und einen nach hinten stehenden Arm aufweist, an dem die Rückholfeder sich mit einem Ende abstützt, während das andere Ende auf einen nach hinten stehenden Arm des Wendetrommelgreifers wirkt, dadurch gekennzeichnet , daß eine zentral mittels Stellrad (19) verdrehbare Stellwelle (17) mit entsprechend der Anzahl der Greiferauflagen (13) angebrachten,"vorzugsweise um 60° in Umfangsrichtung versetzten Vertiefungen (18) in der Schwenkwelle (10) für eine mehrstufige, worzugsweise 3-stufige Höhenverstellung in Umfangsrichtung arretierbar angeordnet ist, wobei die Vertiefungen (18) als Stellebenen (21, 22, 23) mit einem Krümmungsradius (r1, r2, r3) im Ursprung der Antriebsachse (24) der Schwenkwelle (10) ausgebildet und die Greiferauflagen (13) durch Federorgane (27, 28, 29, 31) belastet über Zapfen (26) auf den Stellebenen (21, 22, 23) spielfrei gelagert sind.1.)
