Definitions
- the invention relates to an apparatus for training football players in head, volley and half-volley games, comprising a movable bracket / adjustable in height, position and inclination, equipped with a device for recalling the balloon consisting of a wire and a winder-unwinder.
- the object of the present invention is to remedy the drawbacks present by the combination of the two devices mentioned above.
- the invention as characterized in the claims solves the problem of creating a training apparatus for football players in head, volley and half-volley games, comprising a retaining and positioning device of the balloon, the height adjustment of which is effected by means of a tie rod of adjustable length and a sliding sleeve mounted on the mast and immobilized by a locking screw, and a fixed mechanical or electro-mechanical winder-unwinder to the gallows by means of a sheath and a locking screw; the mast holder pole being supported by a base fitted with removable casters with adjustable spacing and an operating screw.
- the stem is adjustable in height, position and inclination by means of a sleeve and screws, a yoke and an axle, a sleeve fitted at the end of a mast support mast and a locking screw, an adjustable length tie rod and a sleeve sliding on the mast immobilized by a locking screw.
- the balloon retaining and positioning device in height consists of a small ball crossed by the balloon return wire and fixed thereon at a distance determined relative to the balloon, and of a housing ball retention, mounted at the end of a flexible orientation tube, crossed by the wire, made free to rotate, by means of ball bearings, a rigid tube and a spacer, relative to a sheath blocked by a screw at the end of the bracket.
- the small ball retention box consists of a cylindrical box, the inlet of which is provided with a flare, the bottom of which is provided with a threaded orifice allowing its connection to the flexible orientation tube and of which the wall is provided with openings into which the convex part of steel wire springs penetrates, the upper end of which is pressed against said wall, on the outer side, by an elastic ring adjustable in position, and the end of which lower presses against the edge of the flare located at the entrance of the housing.
- the energization of the electric reel drive motor-reducer is controlled by two electric micro-switches fixed on the wall and outside of the retention box and penetrating inside it by lights, in order to to come into contact with the retaining ball and positioning, so as to respectively control the power off at the end of winding of the wire and the timed power up after the departure of the ball.
- the roller-unwinder consists of a very light hollow reel, mounted on ball bearings, the rotary drive of which for winding is carried out by the intermediate toothed crowns, one of which is integral with the drum and the other of which, motable, is integral with a nut mounted on a threaded axis driven in rotation by a train of spur gears and, as the case may be, by a chain pinion, a transmission chain and another chain pinion, integral with a crank, mounted at the end of a sheath locked by a screw on an articulated arm relative to a sliding sleeve mounted on the mast support mast via a yoke and an axis, or by the same gear train, a bevel gear, a splined shaft with longitudinal movement and by a bevel gear, secured to a crank, mounted on a plate secured to a sleeve sliding on the mast supporting gallows.
- the advantages obtained thanks to this invention consist essentially in this: that the height of the ball can be adjusted very precisely with respect to the ground, depending on the size of the player and the type of training, and that the ball is always finds at a determined distance from the retention box whose adjustment is made to just compensate for the weight of the balloon, so that it can escape and release the wire at the slightest shock; which makes it possible to obtain a trajectory corresponding in all points to that which would be obtained with a completely free balloon.
- Figure 1 shows an elevational view of the device equipped with a mechanical winder-unwinder with sprockets and chains drive.
- 2 shows a longitudinal sectional view of the orientation device of the flexible tube for guiding the balloon return wire.
- FIG. 3 represents a view in longitudinal section of the ball retaining housing for positioning and retaining the ball.
- FIG. 4 represents a front view of the mechanical chain drive rewinder.
- Figure 6 shows a top view of the base of the bracket.
- FIG. 7 represents a front view of a removable caster.
- FIG. 8 represents, the detail of the drive device for the mechanical winder-unwinder by sliding splined shaft and return of angles.
- FIG. 9 represents a view in longitudinal section of the retention box equipped with stop and return micro-contacts of the geared motor for driving the electro-mechanical winder-unwinder.
- the apparatus consists mainly of a base 1, fitted with removable casters 2 with adjustable spacing by means of telescopic arms 3 and 4, supporting two sleeves 5 and 6, in which fit respectively an operating guide 7 and a mast 8; an adjustable bracket, in the lateral position, by means of a sleeve 10 and of screws 11, in inclination by means of a yoke 12 secured to the sleeve 10 and of an axis 14 disposed at l end of a sleeve 13 sleeve at the upper end of the mast 8 and immobilized by the screw
- a winder-unwinder 15 mounted at the end of a sheath 16 fixed to the end of the bracket 9 by a locking screw 17 d of a sliding sleeve 18 with locking screw 19, connected to the sheath 16, supporting the winder-unwinder 15, by a tie rod of length 20 d an arm 21, articulated relative to the sliding sleeve 18 by means of an axis 22 and a yoke 23, on which a sleeve 24 fits, immobilized by the screw 25, at the end of which is mounted a chain sprocket 26, provided with a crank 27, serving for the remote actuation of the winder-unwinder 15 by means of the chain 28; a sleeve 29, fixed at the other end of the bracket 9 by locking screws 30, supporting, by means of a flexible tube 31, a housing 32 for retaining and positioning the soccer ball -ball 33 connected to the reel by means of a flexible threaded end piece 34 of a threaded plug provided with a ring 35 and a wire 36
- the soccer ball 33 is posi ⁇ tioned in height and supported by means of a small ball 40, retained in the housing 32 by means of steel wire springs 41, held against the outer wall of the housing 32 by an annular elastic 42, the convex portion 41a of which penetrates inside the housing 32 by slots 43 and one of the ends 41b of which bears against a flaring 32a located at the entry of the housing 32.
- the ball 40 is fixed to the wire 36, which passes through it, by means of knots or rings 44.
- the winder-unwinder 15 is made up, in the mechanical embodiment, of a drum 45, toothed rings 46 and 47, one of which is integral with the axis of the drum 45 and the other of which is integral with a nut 48 mounted on a threaded axis 49 driven in rotation by a spur gear train 50 and 51, a chain sprocket 52 and a transmission chain 28 or, in a mode of preferred embodiment, shown in FIG. 8, by a first bevel gear 63 mounted on a plate 64 secured to the sliding sleeve 18, by a transmission by a smoothing splined shaft 65 and by a second bevel gear 66 in direct engagement with the spur gear train 50 and 51.
- the reel-unwinder consists, in the electro-mechanical embodiment, of a reel 45, attached to the simple plate 53 and a retractable plate 54, provided with anti-friction linings , integral with a nut 55 mounted on a threaded pin 56 driven in rotation by a gear motor 57.
- the base 1 consists of a tubular frame in the sides of which telescopically fit arms 3a and 3b, 4a and 4b, at the end of which are mounted removable casters 2.
- the telescopic arms 3a and 3b are locked in position by screws 58a and 58b, 59a and 59b.
- On the top of the base are fixed, between two crosspieces la and b, the sleeves 5 and 6 in which the operating guide 7 and the bracket support mast 8 are fitted respectively.
- the action on the crank 27 will cause, via the pinion 26 of the chain 28 of the pinion 52, or the bevel gear 63, the splined shaft 64 and the bevel gear 65, the set of spur gears 50 and 51 and the threaded axis 49, the meshing by inertia of the ring gear 47 in the ring gear 46 of the drum 45.
- the wire can then be wound up that the ball 40 abuts against the bottom of the retention box 32, after erasing the springs 44 which will keep it captive until a new shock occurs on the ball 33.
- the withdrawal of the toothed crown 47 will be obtained as soon as its drive by the drum 45 or, preferably, by a slight backward movement of the crank 27.
- the micro-contactor 66 for cutting off the power supply to the motor at the end of winding, and the micro-contactor 67, for timed resetting of the motor, being solicited by the ball 40, we will have well de-energized, during the introduction of the ball 40 into the housing 32 at the end of rolling, and timed re-energization when the bal ⁇ lon starts, by the microswitch 67; provided that said contactors 66 and 67 have been chosen, wired and incorporated into an appropriate circuit covered by current electrical control techniques.
