Definitions

  • the invention relates to a lampholder with a pivotable lampholder for compact fluorescent lamps with a base on one side, the lampholder body, which receives electrical contact elements and is made of insulating material, being releasably pluggable into the lampholder carrier via a fastening foot part, relative to which the lampholder body is arranged such that it can be folded about a pivot axis.
  • Fluorescent lamps with a base on both sides of older and still in use today are inserted into or removed from the sockets in the direction transverse to their longitudinal axis. No special space is therefore required in front of the end faces of the lamps or their sockets for lamp assembly and disassembly, so that the lamp housing or the like can be guided close to the outside of the sockets.
  • holder frames are known according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the socket body and the fastening foot part are two separate plastic components, the fastening foot part being designed as a U-shaped bracket, the web of which is screwed onto the socket support with two screws, and the legs of which have bearing bores for bearing pins attached to the socket body.
  • the bracket-like fastening foot part still has to be screwed onto the frame support.
  • the present invention is based on the object of designing a holder with a pivotable holder for single-ended fluorescent lamps of the type required in the preamble of claim 1 in particular in such a way that the fastening foot part can be connected to the holder in a simpler manner.
  • the invention solves this problem in that, to form the swivel axis on one side of the foot part, an articulated claw is provided which is open away from this and the lamp connection side of the socket body and which encompasses the reveal of an opening on the socket side in the manner of a pivotless hinge and the foot part with the swivel path of the socket body limiting stop and a shackle holding the socket body on the socket support and that at least one resilient latching device is arranged on the socket body, which detachably engages in a socket opening and locks the socket body in the operating position.
  • the foot part of the socket with the articulated claw has the part of a swivel hinge, around the axis of which the socket engaging the reveal of the opening on the holder side can be swiveled. So that the frame maintains its connection to the frame support even in the pivoted position, the stop limiting the pivoting path of the frame body and the restraint holding the frame on the frame support are provided.
  • the advantage according to the invention essentially consists in designing a now swiveling socket for fluorescent lamps with a base on one side, by skillfully designing the foot part, in a similarly simple manner as known snap-in sockets (for example, of the type described in DE-GM 7 234 735), but in addition the possibility there is limited pivotability of the frame, but without losing its connection to the frame support.
  • the invention uses the known measure to arrange at least one resilient latching hook on the socket body, which detachably engages in a socket carrier opening.
  • a particularly advantageous embodiment of the holder with a swiveling holder according to claim 1 is that the claw is assigned at least one catch hook as a shackle, which penetrates a special opening from the back of the holder and that the stop in the operating position of the holder from the front of the holder has a distance permitting the limited pivoting of the frame, it also being expedient if the stop forms a gap between itself and the side of the catch hook facing it, the width of which is essentially at most as large as the material thickness of the frame carrier.
  • the catch hook and stop form part of a slotted and therefore pluggable hinge half, which together with the web delimited by the special opening forms a complete hinge in the frame carrier, the pivot axis of which coincides with the web.
  • the gap formed between the catch hook and the stop allows the socket to be plugged in via its socket foot part in advance with the socket holder having the corresponding openings, a swivel hinge being provided when the plug connection is executed.
  • catch hook and / or the stop are designed or arranged to be resilient.
  • An insulating material socket 12 which is mounted on the bottom 11 a of an approximately trough-shaped, housing-like socket support 11, is used to hold a fluorescent lamp 10 with a base on one side.
  • the insulating socket 12 consists of the actual socket body 13 and a foot part 14, preferably integrally molded thereon, which are not in the socket body 13 electrical connection contacts shown arranged;
  • the foot part 14 serves to hold the socket 12 on the socket support 11, for which the latter has a rectangular opening 15 and two smaller, in the exemplary embodiment circular through openings 16 in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 4.
  • the socket holder openings 16 are arranged on the side of the opening 15 facing away from the lamp 10 and in the vicinity of its narrow edges 15a.
  • the rear 13a of the socket body 13 is associated with an articulated claw 17 which is open away from the foot part and the lamp connection side of the socket body, for example in the form of a groove which claws over the reveal 15b of the socket support opening 15, as a result of which the socket 12 can be pivoted about the inner boundary of the joint claw 17.
  • the position of use of the socket 12 (FIG. 1) is secured by a spring tongue 18 which interacts with the edge 15 c of the socket carrier cutout 15.
  • the outer contour of the spring tongue 18 is designed such that it can temporarily deflect both when the socket is pressed into the operating position and when the socket is pivoted out into the position according to FIG. 2 after a certain pressure or tensile force has been applied.
  • the socket base part 14 has two catch hooks 19 as fetters, which penetrate the socket holder cutouts 16 from the rear or underside 11b of the socket holder 11.
  • a stop 20 when its stop surface 21 rests on the side 11 of the holder 11 facing the holder.
  • a strip-shaped stop 20 is provided approximately in the center of the socket body 13 on its rear wall 13a.
  • a gap 22 is formed between the stop 20 and the catch hook 19, the gap width of which essentially corresponds to the material thickness of the frame carrier 11.
  • the socket body 13 is mounted in such a way that the socket foot is inserted into the socket body cutout 15 approximately in the inclined position according to FIG. 2 with a movement in the direction of the rear 13a of the socket body 13, so that the material webs 23 remaining between the cutouts 15 and 16 Grip holder 11 through the gap 22.
  • each catch hook 19 is then in an engaging or engaging position with respect to the frame carrier openings 16.
  • the catch hook 19 is designed or arranged elastically, which facilitates the snap-on mounting of the socket 12 as well as its possibility of removal from the socket carrier 11.
  • the arrangement is such that the "plug-in hinge" formed by the parts 19, 20 and 23 cannot release automatically in the opened position of the socket according to FIG. 2.
  • the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4 differs from that according to FIGS. 1 and 2 essentially in that here the socket base is formed from a locking pin 18 and two essentially semicircular catch hooks 24, to which the stop 20 is assigned.
  • the openings 15, 15 'and 16 on the mount support side are designed in the configuration shown.
  • the frame carrier openings 15 have an elongated shape, and their length corresponds approximately to the diameter of the semicircular arc of the catch hook 24.
  • the catch hooks 24 are first inserted through the elongated hole openings 15 during assembly of the holder 13, and the holder 13 is initially moved away from the lamp towards the rear 4 and then pivoted into the use position shown in FIG. 3. It is also important in this embodiment that the gap 22 formed between the stop 20 and the catch hook 24 is dimensioned in such a way that the frame in the pivoted-open position according to FIG. 4 does not become detached from the frame carrier 11. As can be seen from FIG. 4, the free end of the catch hook 24 still engages in the mount carrier openings 16 from the back of the mount carrier 11b.
