Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betreiben eines Wärmofens für Brammen, Blöcke od. dgl., wobei das z.B. von der Stranggießmaschine kommende Wärmgut in eine von einer Mehrzahl von mit einer Deckenchargierung bzw. -dechargierung ausgerüsteten Ofenkammern abgesetzt wird und die einzelnen Ofenkammern unabhängig voneinander beheizbar sind sowie einen Wärmofen mit mehreren hinter­ einandergeschalteten, nach oben offenen Ofenkammern mit Herdbänken und in den Seitenwandungen angeordneten Brennern sowie an der Oberseite vorgesehene, verfahrbar aber abgedichtet gelagerte Ofendecken, oberhalb der Ofen­ decken angeordnete Deckenwagenpositioniermaschinen und eine oberhalb den Deckenwagenpositioniermaschinen verfahrbar angeordnete Chargier- und Dechargiermaschine.
