Description

  • La présente invention concerne un coffre ouvrant pour la protection d'un appareillage se présentant sous la forme d'un poteau dont la tête comporte des organes à protéger aussi bien contre les intempéries, les chocs, les utilisations par des personnes non habilitées, que contre des actes de vandalisme.
  • L'invention s'applique plus particulièrement, mais non exclusivement, à la protection des poteaux d'incendie qui, comme on le sait, consistent en des prises d'eau normalisées placées au-dessus du sol, sur un support affectant la forme générale d'un poteau.
  • Dans ce cas, les organes à protéger sont essentiellement les éléments de raccords destinés à recevoir les tuyaux d'incendie, et l'élément de manoeuvre permettant l'ouverture et la fermeture, avec vidange, de l'organe d'obturation du poteau d'incendie.
  • Il est clair que, dans ce cas, il convient de prévoir un dispositif de protection qui puisse être rapidement dégagé lors de la mise en service du poteau et être facilement remonté après utilisation du poteau.
  • Par les brevets FR-A-811 384 et 1 066 861, on connaît un coffre selon le préambule de la revendication 1, qui remplit ces conditions. La partie supérieure est mobile et est montée pivotante autour d'un axe horizontal porté par le bord supérieur du coffre et elle sert à protéger le volant de manoeuvre de la vanne d'arrivée d'eau. Celle-ci alimente des prises d'eau disposées sur le poteau et accessibles à travers une fenêtre qui peut être fermée par une porte montée pivotante autour d'un axe horizontal fixé à la partie inférieure du coffre. Ainsi, pour dégager le volant de manoeuvre et les prises d'eau, on doit soulever la partie supérieure jusqu'à sa position ouverte et rabattre la porte vers le sol. Dans leur position ouverte, ces éléments augmentent considérablement l'encombrement au sol du coffre et gênent de ce fait les mouvements des opérateurs.
  • Les brevets FR-A-24 27 240 et DE-A-28 29 727 décrivent des coffres qui ont les mêmes inconvénients.
  • La présente invention a pour but de remédier à ces inconvénients et concerne à cet effet un coffre de protection selon la partie caractérisante de la revendication 1.
  • Grâce à une telle liaison en parallélogramme artculé, la partie mobile décrit une trajectoire en arc de cercle lorsqu'elle se déplace entre ses positions ouverte et fermée mais elle reste dans l'encombrement vertical de la structure support du coffre sans jamais dépasser latéralement lorsqu'elle est en position ouverte.
  • Le dispositif d'assistance peut être constitué par au moins un ressort pneumatique, un ressort métallique ou un élément élastique en caoutchouc. Il peut également faire intervenir élément moteur, tel qu'un moteur électrique, un moteur thermique ou un système hydraulique.
  • Le coffre comprend en outre un mécanisme de verrouillage de la partie mobile sur la partie fixe.
  • Un mode de réalisation de l'invention sera décrit ci-après, à titre d'exemple non limitatif, avec référence aux dessins annexés dans lesquels:
    • La figure 1 est une coupe axiale verticale d'un poteau d'incendie équipé d'un coffre selon l'invention;
    • La figure 2 est une coupe transversale selon B-B de la figure 1;
  • Les figures 3 et 4 sont deux coupes schématiques représentant le coffre en position ouverte et en position fermée.
  • Avec référence aux figures 1 et 2, le coffre comprend tout d'abord une partie fixe 1 comportant une embase 2 et une structure de support 3.
  • L'embase 2 présente une forme tubulaire de section en losange et est réalisée par assemblage de deux éléments de section triangulaire 4, 5 (figure 2). Les faces 6, 7 de ces deux éléments 4, 5 au niveau desquelles s'effectue cet assemblage présentent dans leur partie centrale une forme demi cylindrique 8, 9 déportée légèrement vers l'angle extérieur 10' de l'élément 4 et dans lequel vient passer la partie inférieure du poteau 10. Ces deux formes demi cylindriques 8, 9 viennent enserrer le poteau 10 à la façon d'un collier et assurent ainsi la fixation de l'embase 2 sur le poteau 10.
  • Les deux faces extérieures 11, 12 de l'élément 5 de l'embase 2 se trouvent prolongées vers le haut jusqu'à un niveau situé légèrement au-dessus de la tête 13 du poteau d'incendie 10 et constituent le susdit élément de support 14.
  • La partie mobile 15 présente une forme en partie tubulaire de section en losange prolongeant les faces extérieures 11, 12, 16 et 17 de l'embase 2 et se terminant par un toit oblique 16.
  • Bien entendu, le contour inférieur de cette partie mobile 15 est découpé de manière à venir épouser le contour de la bordure supérieure de la partie fixe 1.
  • La liaison de la partie fixe à la partie mobile est assurée au moyen de deux couples de bielles 18, 18'-19,19' formant deux parallélogrammes articulés situés de part et d'autre du poteau 10.
  • Chacun de ces couples de bielles 18, 19' et 19, 19' vient s'articuler d'un côté, sur deux axes parallèles respectifs 20, 20' montés dans la partie supérieure de l'élément de support 14, et, de l'autre côté, sur deux axes parallèles respectifs 21, 21' montés dans la partie inférieure de la partie mobile 15.
  • Dans l'exemple représenté, la droite reliant le centre des deux axes 20, 20' et la droite reliant le centre des deux axes 21, 21' sont verticales, de sorte qu'au cours de l'ouverture et de la fermeture (figures 3 et 4) la partie mobile 15 demeurera axée verticalement.
  • Comme précédemment mentionné, le coffre comprend en outre un dispositif d'assistance qui, en l'occurrence, consiste en deux ressorts pneumatiques 22, 22' venant s'articuler d'un côté respectivement sur les bielles 18, 19 et, de l'autre côté, sur les faces 11 et 12 de l'élément de support 14, (axes 23, 23') dans l'alignement des axes 20 et 20'.
  • Ainsi, ces ressorts pneumatiques 22, 22' accumulent une partie de l'effort exercé pour réaliser la fermeture du coffre et la restituent ensuite pour assurer une ouverture automatique.
  • L'élément de support 14 comprend en outre un mécanisme de verrouillage 25 de type classique comprenant un pêne basculant 26 coopérant avec une gâche 27 prévue dans la partie mobile 15. Dans l'exemple représenté, le pêne 26 peut être entraîné au moyen d'un carré d'actionnement 28, mais il pourrait aussi l'être au moyen d'une clé.
  • Bien entendue, l'invention ne se limite pas à la forme de section en losange du coffre précédemment décrit. Celui-ci pourrait présenter aussi bien une forme de section circulaire ou ovale ou bien une forme plus complexe.
  • On notera enfin que la partie mobile 15 du coffre précédemment décrit peut avantageusement servir de support de motifs publicitaires divers.

Claims (8)

1. Coffre ouvrant pour la protection d'un appareillage se présentant sous la forme d'un poteau (10) dont la tête comporte des organes à protéger, coffre du type comprenant d'une part, une partie fixe (1 ) destinée à être montée fixement sur le poteau (10) et pourvue d'un côté de ce dernier d'une structure support (14), et d'autre part, une partie mobile (15) formant capot, destinée à recouvrir, en position de fermeture, la partie supérieure du poteau (10) en assurant de préférence, une continuité de forme et/ou d'étanchéité avec la partie fixe, ledit coffre étant caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend en outre une liaison mécanique du type parallélogramme articulé, montée entre la structure support (14) et la partie mobile (15) et qui comprend de chaque côté du poteau,
- une première paire d'axes (20, 20') alignés verticalement, séparés d'une distance prédéterminée et fixés sur la structure support (14),
- une seconde paire d'axes (21, 21') alignés verticalement, séparés de ladite distance prédéterminée et fixés à la partie mobile,
- une bielle supérieure (18) articulée sur les axes supérieurs (20, 21 ) de la première et de la seconde paires d'axes, et
- une bielle inférieure (18') articulée sur les axes inférieurs (20', 21 ') de la première et de la seconde paires d'axes, de sorte que le coffre occupe la même surface au sol lorsque la partie mobile (15) est en position ouverte ou en position fermée, un dispositif d'assistance constitué par un élément élastique (22), prenant appui sur la structure support (14) et sur l'une des bielles (18), étant suceptible d'accumuler de l'énergie potentielle lors de la fermeture de la partie mobile (15) de manière à rappeler la partie mobile (15) en position ouverte.
2. Coffre selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'élément élastique (22) est constitué par un ressort métallique.
3. Coffre selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'élément élastique est constitué par une pièce en caoutchouc ou analogue.
4. Coffre selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'élément élastique est constitué par au moins un ressort pneumatique ou un vérin hydraulique (22) articulé, par une extrémité, sur un axe (23) porté par la structure support (14) et situé dans l'alignement de la première paire d'axes (20, 20') et, par l'autre extrémité, en un point de l'une des bielles.
5. Coffre selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le dispositif d'assistance fait intervenir un élément moteur, tel qu'un moteur électrique, thermique ou un système hydraulique.
6. Coffre selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un mécanisme (25) permettant de verrouiller la partie mobile (15) sur la partie fixe (1).
7. Coffre selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que ledit mécanisme (25) comprend un pêne basculant (26) entraîné par exemple au moyen d'une clé ou d'un carré d'actionnement (28) et qui peut s'engager dans une gâche (27) prévue dans la partie mobile (15).
