Abstract

A Jacquard double plush fabric for subsequent division into upper and lower fabric portions includes a plurality of sheds with a single weft for each of the sheds and a U-shaped pile thread for the respective single weft, and dead thread groups woven into and distributed within the upper and the lower fabric portions, and a method and an apparatus for producing the fabric.

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Jacquard-Doppelplüschgewebe.The invention relates to a jacquard double plush fabric.

When producing a double plush fabric, two fabric sheets are woven on top of one another and connected to one another by additionally and simultaneously woven-in pile threads. In the finished double fabric, the vertical pile threads between the upper and lower fabric are separated by cutting, so that two fabric webs are created with threads that stand up on one side, the pile.

For the incorporation of the pile threads connecting the two base fabrics, a one-shot pile binding with single-compartment weft insertion of the type mentioned at the outset is possible, in which, however, the dead choruses lie against the back of the lower fabric. These dead chores, which are temporarily not working and float on the back of the base fabric, have to be scraped away later. When scratching, the half pile threads or knobs that are created at the pole change points are also pulled out. The base fabric therefore has a missing spot on the corresponding weft every time the choir is changed. Despite the inferior base material, the one-shot pole binding with dead choirs floating on the underside is still used in many countries today to make double-pile plushes of this type, since the corresponding weaving technique is simple and a normal high-pocket jacquard machine is sufficient for forming. Furthermore, the production with the one-shot pole binding is relatively high, since each shot carries a row of knobs, which means that a relatively dense fortop can be achieved without having to enter additional auxiliary sockets.

In order to counteract the disadvantage of the inferior lower material which arises in the known one-shot pole binding, the three-shot pole binding which is also to be woven by single-compartment weft insertion and on a normal high-compartment machine could be used. In contrast to the known one-shot pole binding, this binding enables the pole changing points to be placed on two different shots in the upper structure. Although with this binding the dead choruses are again on the back of the lower fabric and can be scratched away, there are no defects in the lower fabric during the scraping process. The gain of this binding is paid for by loss of production and the loss of a lot of valuable pole material when forming the pile knobs and, of course, when scraping off the dead choir.

With the aforementioned two bindings, the dead choruses floating on the back of the bottom fabric can only be used as waste material. In order to avoid this loss, and instead to improve the quality of the carpet with the valuable pile material, the two-shot weave to be weaved by single-ply weft insertion was developed, in which the dead choruses are woven into the upper and lower fabric. The upper and lower goods become equally heavy, and the goods appear in a very clear image on the front and back. However, a total of four shots are necessary in the upper and lower plant to form a complete tuft. For each shot, a (jacquard) card sheet is required, which is pressed between the shots. Because the boards on the knife box always have to be moved to the reading position for reading, a complete up and down movement of the knife box is required for each machine revolution. This means that the number of revolutions of the normal high-compartment machine to be used here is also compared to the case of single-shot Binding about halved.

Therefore, different types of weaving with double-fold weft insertion are used to increase the performance when weaving double plush fabrics. Obviously, a significantly higher production can be achieved if not only one shot is different in the upper and lower goods with each revolution of the weaving machine, but when two shots are inserted simultaneously and one above the other, one in the upper and lower goods, in the same rotation . In the simplest type of this technique, the two-shot binding to be woven by double-fold weft insertion, however, mixed contours occur when weaving through, or standing pile and spreading knobs occur through half-weaving and thus a restless upper side.

This is why the three-weft weave with double-fold weft insertion, which is mostly used in carpet weaving mills today, was created; in this weaving technique, a third weft is inserted between the two wefts of the two-weft weave, which covers the dead chorus towards the underside of the carpet and prevents pushing through. Although three shots are required to form a tuft and this results in a relatively low production, there is no technical, aesthetically and economically satisfactory alternative for this three-shot binding.

The invention is based on the object of developing a binding which combines the advantages of the three-shot binding to be woven by double-weft insertion with those of a binding to be produced by single-weft insertion, in which, therefore, the dead chorus also does not press through and Mixed contours do not occur, but the number of shots per tuft is reduced to a minimum. Furthermore, despite the use of a single compartment weft insertion device, clear images should be generated on the front and back of the upper and lower goods. The solution according to the invention is characterized in the case of a one-shot pole binding with single-compartment weft insertion by the features of the patent claim.

  • a) der bekannten mit Einzelfach-Schusseintrag zu webenden Ein-Schuss-Polaufbindung ohne deren Nachteil der auf dem Rücken der Unterware flottierenden toten Chore;
It is achieved by the invention that a double plush fabric to be woven with the aid of a single-compartment weft insertion device with a one-weft weave with completely the same loss of goods to be manufactured in the upper and lower plant. The invention therefore combines the advantages:
  • a) the known one-shot pole binding to be weaved with single compartment weft insertion without the disadvantage of the dead chorus floating on the back of the lower fabric;
  • b) the interwoven two-shot weave, also to be woven with single compartment weft insertion, with the number of wefts reduced to half; and
  • c) the interwoven three-shot binding to be formed with double-weft insertion, with a considerably less complex machine, for example, according to the invention, only one specialist is required for two or more machines per known double-compartment machine.

With the manufacturing process, a new card reading is required for each shot. In order to carry out such a method in the production of a single-compartment weft insertion normal fabric, double-stroke, completely open-compartment jacquard machines are used. The sinker stroke of a conventional jacquard machine of this type is not sufficient for weaving a double fabric. Since the double-stroke, fully open-pocket jacquard machine has a knife box stroke that is adapted to the production of single fabrics, the lifting height of the harness cords with the attached pollitz with weight etc., i.e. also the sinkers and thus the knife boxes when used for double plush floating, must be doubled. Since the length of the stroke has to be overcome in essentially unchanged time, if the production speed is not to be reduced, the mechanics of the machine have to absorb considerable forces which are many tons in systems several meters wide.

When weaving the jacquard double plush fabric according to the invention, a weaving machine designed for the production of a double plush fabric with single-fold weft insertion and single-weft pile formation can be operated with a double-stroke fully open-pocket jacquard machine which is essentially only equipped for normal fabrics, if a lifting roller is attached to each sinker, the associated harness cord is guided over the roll and is firmly connected to the machine frame with its end opposite its pollitz. When lifting and lowering a sinker around the sinker stroke that is usual when manufacturing normal fabrics, the harness cord with Pollitz is moved up and down under these circumstances by a path corresponding to twice the sinker stroke (at twice the speed). In this way, it is possible to produce double plush fabrics with single-compartment weft insertion and with one-weft binding with dead choirs integrated into the upper and lower fabric using a Doppelhu fully open-compartment jacquard machine designed for normal or single fabrics. The binding according to the invention can therefore be woven with essentially standard machines if the board and harness cord of the respective jacquard machine are connected to one another via the lifting roller mentioned.

For each weft to be inserted, a separate curl sheet must be used when producing the fabric according to the invention. The punched card sheet should also be scanned with every revolution of the weaving machine in order to control the necessary movements of the chorus with a view to the fact that the dead chorus, on average, is woven in half on top and bottom. The programming of punch cards can usually be done with the help of a lock punch, manually or by computer.

  • Fig. 1 und 2 eine durchgewebt Zwei-bzw. Ein-Schuss-Bindung jeweils mit Einzelfach-Schusseintrag; und
  • Fig. 3 einen Webharnisch zum Herstellen der Bindung.
Details of the invention are explained on the basis of the schematic drawing. Show it:
  • 1 and 2 a woven two or. Single-shot binding with single-compartment weft insertion; and
  • Fig. 3 shows a harness for making the binding.

While two shots are required to produce a tuft in the upper and lower fabric in the interwoven two-shot binding with single-compartment weft insertion according to FIG. 1, a tuft in the upper and lower fabric is required in the interwoven single-weft according to the invention -Binding with single compartment weft entry according to FIG. 2, only one shot is required.

The top fabric 1 and the bottom fabric 2 also contain a base chain 4 and a binding chain 5. The weft binding in the top fabric 1 and lower fabric 2 each consist of alternately entered lower weft 6 and upper weft 7. The dead chorfe 8 and 9 are woven into the upper fabric 1 and the lower fabric 2 on average about half each. An essential difference between the bindings according to FIGS. 1 and 2 is that in the known two-shot binding according to FIG. 1, the upper shots only have the task of binding the dead choruses 8 and 9, while the upper shots 7 according to the invention (likewise as in all cases, the deficits 6) also take on the task of forming a tuft.

The particular feature of the one-shot binding to be formed by single-compartment weft insertion according to the invention is that, on average, the dead choruses 8, 9 are woven into the upper and lower goods 1, 2 in approximately equal parts. According to the invention, the weaving in of the dead chorus 8, distributed over the upper and lower goods 1, 2, is achieved in a manner similar to that in the case of the two-shot binding according to FIG. 2 to be formed with a single-compartment weft device in that one (jacquard -) Map sheet is programmed and read. Since a tuft is created with each shot according to the invention, the performance is significantly higher than with the binding according to FIG. 1. It is similar to the known one by single-compartment weft insertion The one-shot pole binding with dead choirs floating on the back of the bottom fabric.

A double-stroke, fully open-pocket jacquard machine is preferably used to form the shed when manufacturing the fabric according to the invention. The link between the weaving machine and the jacquard machine is the weaving harness. It forwards the control information of the jacquard machine to the heald. According to FIG. 3, the harness attached to the plate 11 of the jacquard machine consists of group 12, lifting roller carrier 13, harness cord 14, pollitz 15 and weight 16. Pollitz 15 contains the strand eye 17 for passing a pile thread. The circuit board is raised and lowered again by means of a knife (not shown) suspended in the circuit board hook 18 by a stroke H required for forming the compartment. When lowering the board can rest on the board bottom 19. The lifting roller carrier, designated overall by 13, consists of the sliding cheeks 20 and the actual lifting roller 21. The length of the sliding cheeks 20, like the length of the struppers 12, should therefore be greater than the lifting height H. This dimensioning ensures that the lower end of the group 12 is not pulled through the board base 19 when the associated board 11 is lifted and that hub roller supports 13 lying one behind the other always remain in an orderly association even with relative movement and cannot be supported on one another. In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3, it is essential that the harness cord 14 is guided over the lifting roller 21 and fastened with the upper end 22 opposite the pollitz 15 to a part of the machine frame which is to be referred to as a harness support rear bearing 23. When the board 11 is lifted by the board stroke H, the harness cord 14 fastened with its upper end 22 to the harness support back bearing 23 performs a stroke in the amount of 2H, and the heddle eye 17 is lifted by the same amount together with the pile thread passed through. In this way, it is possible to combine a double-stroke, fully open-pocket jacquard machine designed for the stroke H with a weaving machine in such a way that a pocket with a height corresponding to a sinker stroke 2H can be formed without overloading the jacquard machine.

Claims (1)

  1.
