Definitions

  • the invention relates to a system for the unsupervised control of the use of lockers or the like in bathing establishments, reading rooms, hotels or the like according to the preamble of the main claim.
  • the control elements consist of disks with different time codes, and each control element serving as a deposit fits into each deposit lock of the locker system. This simplifies handling and has the considerable advantage that the occupancy time of the lockers is much shorter than the time the user stays, for. B. in the bathhouse.
  • the bathroom user selects any locker, throws in the control element, closes the locker door and removes the key. After returning to the locker, he opens it with the key, the control element is returned and the key is caught by the lock. With the control element received back, the user goes through the curfew, at which point it may also be determined whether he has complied with the prescribed times in the bathroom.
  • the object of the present invention is to improve a generic system in such a way that, with a simpler design, greater security and considerable variation, more convenient handling is achieved, in particular, in that the exchange of the control element to be inserted there is no longer necessary for the key to be removed.
  • the deposit lock has z. B. a keyboard for entering a code for the locking function. This keyboard is activated by inserting the deposit coin, ie made functional. The user enters any code. With this he can then close the door. It can only be opened again with this code.
  • coded control elements from any supply in any coding system or the like. The coding thereof can take place, for example, in an automatic dispenser. The coding does not have to take into account the later use in the locker lock. Rather, each control element is suitable for operating every lock in the system.
  • the locker is only occupied from this moment on. If he pushes in the control element and also the deposit coin, the locker lock stores the coding of the control element. From this point on, the lock is locked against all other codes. With the associated control element or by keying in the code, the user can then open or close the compartment any number of times. Only when he gives it up, has opened the locker door for it and has his coin issued, will the lock's code memory be deleted, and from this point on the locker will be free to be used by another user. It does not matter whether the previous user stays somewhere else in the bathing establishment or the like for a long time. With the coding element z. B.
  • the lock of one of many safe locks can be operated, such as a safe in hotels. There is a safe in every room.
  • the code keyboard or the coding element e.g. B. that for the hotel room door, is used together with the coin to prove the room safe for the appropriate time. If the coding of the control element suitable for the room door changes, the lock of the free room safe also accepts this other coding and permits occupancy for a corresponding time.
  • the deposit lock with its device for identifying the control element, the respective control element at the same time with an identity code of the lock, ie z. B. a locker number, it is easier for the user to find his associated locker.
  • the solution that the deletion command to the memory of the deposit lock is omitted when the deposit lock is opened by means of a master key allows an appropriately authorized person who is the holder of the master key to remove the deposit coin and make it the cashier coin.
  • This can e.g. B. be required if someone within a bathing establishment clearly exceeds the usage time or, for example, leaves a subject occupied overnight.
  • the lifeguard then opens the compartment, removes the penalty coin and then closes the compartment again, e.g. B. because he left the user's stuff in the compartment.
  • the user can then open his compartment again by keying in the corresponding coding or by operating with the correspondingly coded control element and take out his things.
  • the coding is then deleted, so that the compartment is then completely free for a new user. If, at the same time, the solution is provided that the delete command is forwarded to the memory with a time delay after a corresponding master key opening, this opens up the possibility that the person authorized by the master key owner will remove the deposit coin takes, i.e. makes it a punitive coin or cashier coin, and the code in the memory is deleted after a short time when the holder of the master key no longer closes the locker door.
  • the main key can be a purely mechanical key of a known type, or one in the form of a coded element similar to the control elements.
  • a buffer in which a code entered via the keyboard or control element is initially held for a short time, this memory can be automatically deleted if the user does not remove the deposit lock under or after inserting the coin within this short time Coin operated because he z. B. has suddenly decided not to use the subject.
  • the coding is passed on to the main memory, which is queried when the deposit lock is opened. In this way, you can also use normal deposit locks as far as possible, complete with corresponding actuation handles that can be activated by coding. Without coding they go e.g. B. empty.
  • the buffer has detected a coding, they are coupled to the deposit lock; a coin must now be inserted into this in the usual way in order to lock the bolt. If this happens, the coding moves to the main memory; if this does not happen in a short time, the coding is deleted and the operating handle is disabled.
  • the main entrance of the bathing establishment is designated by the number 1. From there, the visitor enters an anteroom 2. In order to use the bathing establishment, he has to pass an entrance barrier in the form of a turnstile 3.
  • the turnstile 3 is mounted about a vertical axis 4 and has a plurality of turnstile arms 5 which are arranged in the same angular distribution and prevent unlawful passage.
  • An input barrier 3 is adjacent to an automat 6, which represents a limitation of the entry path.
  • the automat 6 is equipped on the input side with a control panel 7.
  • the personal entry of money is also to be paid there, as a result of which the machine 6 then outputs a strip-shaped, coded control element 8.
  • the input lock 3 opens so that the user can get inside the bathing establishment.
  • the strip-shaped control element 8 then serves as a ticket in order to be able to pass the entrance barrier 3.
  • the input block 3 would have to be assigned a reading station scanning the control element.
  • control elements 8 can also be removed from a supply roll, not shown, located in the machine 6.
  • This strip-shaped control element 8 has a coding field 9, which either receives a coding during the production of the control element 8 or receives this from the machine 6 when it is output.
  • the user can now go with the control element 8 received to a locker system I in the direction of the arrow and occupy any unused locker S with his control element.
  • These lockers have different numbers.
  • the deposit lock 11 attached to the inside of the locker door 10 has a bolt 12 which can be closed by turning a rotary knob 13 located on the outside of the door.
  • the coded control element 8 is to be inserted into a pull-through slot 14 of a coding memory 15.
  • the latter is located on the outside of the door.
  • the coding field 9 of the control element 8 now effects a corresponding coding of the coding memory 15.
  • the rotary button 13 can be actuated accompanied by the locking of the bolt 12.
  • the control element 8 When the control element 8 is passed through the pull-through slot 14, the control element receives one of the ones stored in the coding memory 15, indicated means 22 indicated a label. In the present case, it is the number 117 which corresponds to the number 117 on the locker door.
  • This identification can consist, for example, of an indelible imprint or of a perforation.
  • the strip-shaped control element 8 has to be pushed into the pull-through slot 14 again.
  • the rotary knob can be turned in the opening direction in conjunction with the latch 12 being withdrawn.
  • the door 10 can be opened and the stored goods can be found in the locker no. 117. If the user now wants to get back his deposit coin M, he must press the money return button K arranged on the inside of the deposit lock 11. When the deposit coin M is returned, the storage of the coding memory is deleted.
  • the locker can now be occupied by another user, another control element having a different coding 8 transmits its coding to the coding memory 15.
  • the control element 8 When leaving the bathing establishment, the control element 8 is to be inserted into a test device 17 arranged upstream of a curfew 16.
  • the latter is also housed in the housing of the machine 6. If the permissible usage time has not been exceeded, the curfew 16 in the form of a turnstile can be passed. However, if the period is longer than the permissible usage time, an additional charge corresponding to the time exceeded is displayed on a light field 18. The curfew 16 opens only after the additional fee has been paid. In certain systems, it would be possible to dispense with a corresponding test device 17. This is the case if the usage time is not controlled.
  • control element 8 is kept safe while the bathing establishment is in use, it is provided at one end 8 'with a cross-shaped insertion opening 20, while the other end forms recesses 21 on the edge. These hook into the shorter section 20 'of the cross-shaped insertion opening 20, which section 20' extends at right angles to the longitudinal extent of the strip-shaped control element 8.
  • a further coding field 19 can extend after the coding field 9. However, this has no influence on the coding memory.
  • coding which is independent of the closing and time coding can be carried out, specifically with corresponding services within the bathing establishment. If a service is received in this institution, this coding field 19 can be coded accordingly. Settlement is then carried out by the tester 17 when the bathing establishment leaves the depository.
  • the deposit lock 11 can be designed such that it does not receive a money return button K. Then the coin M must be inserted after each intermediate use.
