Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft ein Buch, in dem eine Ausnehmung vorgesehen ist, deren Abmessungen einer Tonträger-Kassette entsprechen.
  • Aus der US-PS 40 02 355 ist ein derartiges Buch bekannt, bei dem Ausnehmungen für Tonträger-Kassetten im Rückdeckel des Buches angeordnet sind, wobei der Rückdeckel entsprechend dick ausgestaltet sein muß.
  • Aus der US-PS 35 83 729 ist ein Buch bekannt, bei dem ein gesonderter Rahmen erforderlich ist, in dem eine Ausnehmung für die Tonträger-Kassette ausgeformt ist. Der Rahmen ist insgesamt in das Buch einschiebbar.
  • Bücher werden häufig mit inhaltlich zugehörigen Tonträger-Kassetten vertrieben. Beispielsweise sind Sprach-Lehrbücher häufig von einer Kassette begleitet, welche den geschriebenen Text akustisch ergänzt. Aufgrund ihrer unterschiedlichen Abmessungen werden das Buch und die Kassette in aller Regel vom Benutzer getrennt aufbewahrt, so daß beide nicht mit einem Griff hergenommen werden können. Durch die getrennte Aufbewahrung wird auch das Verlegen oder Verlieren eines der Teile erleichtert.
  • Auch beim Vertrieb und bei der Lagerhaltung des Buches und der Tonträger-Kassette wird durch die getrennte Ausgestaltung ein erhöhter Aufwand erforderlich.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Buch so auszugestalten, daß ein zugehörige Kassette mit ihm gelagert, transportiert und aufbewahrt werden kann.
  • Gemäß der Erfindung wird diese Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, daß die Ausnehmung den Vorder- deckel des Buches erfaßt und ihr Boden entsprechend der Dicke des Buches von einer der Seiten des Buches oder dem Rück-Deckel gebildet ist.
  • In einer vorteilhaften Ausgestaltung der Erfindung ist vorgesehen, daß die Ausnehmung mit zumindest einer etwa fingerstarken Ausbauchung versehen ist.
  • Die Tonträger-Kassette ist in ihren Abmessungen auf etwa 11 x 7 x 1,7 cm genormt.
  • Die Tonträger-Kassette läßt sich so paßgenau in das Buch einlegen, so daß sie mit diesem zusammen beispielsweise in einem Bücherregal abgestellt werden kann.
  • Bei der Erfindung ist von Vorteil, daß die Kassette direkt sichtbar ist. Dieser Umstand ist insbesondere für Verkaufsaufstellungen und dergleichen bedeutsam.
  • Nachfolgend ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel eines erfindungsgemäßen Buches anhand der Zeichnung beschrieben, welche das Buch in perspektivischer Ansicht zeigt.
  • Im Buch 10 ist eine Ausnehmung 12 in dessen Vorder-Deckel 14 ausgeformt. Länge, Breite und Tiefe der Ausnehmung 12 entsprechen etwa denen einer Tonträger-Kassette, betragen also 11 x 7 x 1,7 cm.
  • Der Boden 16 der Ausnehmung 12 wird entweder von einer der Seiten 18 des Buches 10 oder dem Rück-Deckel 20 gebildet, je nach Stärke des Buches.
  • An den Längskanten der Ausnehmung 12 sind etwa fingerstarke Ausbauchungen 22 vorgesehen, welche das Herausnehmen der Kassette (nicht gezeigt) aus der Ausnehmung 12 erleichtern.
  • Auch wenn die Kassette gemäß dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung « locker" in der den Vorder-Deckel 14 des Buches erfassenden Ausnehmung 12 liegt, ist ihr Herausfallen beim Handhaben und Transportieren des Buches weitgehend vermieden, da die Abmessungen der Ausnehmung denen der Kassette angepaßt sind, so daß die Kassette nur aufgrund einer genau senkrecht zum Boden 16 der Ausnehmung 12 angreifenden Kraft aus der Ausnehmung herausbewegbar ist. Weicht die angreifende Kraft von dieser vorgeschriebenen Richtung ab, so verkantet die Kassette in der Ausnehmung und kann deshalb nicht herausfallen. Für Transport und Lagerung werden Bücher gewöhnlich mit durchsichtigen Kunststoffolien überzogen. In diesem Falle ist die mit ihrer Vorderfläche bündig mit dem Vorder-Deckel 14 des Buches in der Ausnehmung 12 liegende Kassette zusätzlich durch die Kunststoffhülle am Herausfallen gehindert.
  • In einer besonderen Ausgestaltung der Erfindung kann auch eine zusätzliche Sicherung der Kassette in der Ausnehmung dadurch erfolgen, daß auf dem Vorder-Deckel 14 des Buches eine Haltereinrichtung in Form eines verschieb7- oder verschwenkbaren Bügels oder auch eines KlettVerschlusses die Kassette in der Ausnehmung festhält, welche ohne die Halteeinrichtung bis auf die Oberseite allseitig umschlossen in der Ausnehmung liegt.

Claims (2)

1. Buch, in dem eine Ausnehmung (12) vorgesehen ist, deren Abmessungen einer Tonträger-Kassette entsprechen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Ausnehmung (12) den Vorderdeckel (14) des Buches (10) erfaßt und ihr Boden (16) entsprechend der Dicke des Buches von einer der Seiten (18) des Buches (10) oder dem Rück-Deckel (20) gebildet ist.
2. Buch nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Ausnehmung (12) mit zumindest einer etwa fingerstarken Ausbauchung (22) versehen ist.
