Description

The invention relates to a ski boot with a rear part which can be bent or folded down from the rear, with a lower shell made of plastic and a shaft part which can be pivoted relative to the lower shell.

In ski boots of this type, it is already known to design the shaft part or the cuff to be pivotable about an axis substantially parallel to the sole plane in the direction of a template and in the direction of a reserve. From FR-A-2 506 135 a ski boot of the type mentioned at the outset has become known, a more or less flexible and articulated pressure distribution plate being provided on the essentially rigid shaft part, the pressure distribution plate engaging over the rigid shaft part on the inside. The pressure distribution plate is connected in an articulated manner in order to avoid pressure points caused by the rigid shaft. The pressure distribution plate can also perform compensating movements in the closed state of the shaft and it is guided in longitudinal slots for an effective adjustment of the upper edge formed by the pressure distribution plate.

It is also already known to design the articulation points of the shaft part or the cuff on the lower shell so as to be height-adjustable in order to achieve an inclination of the shaft relative to the longitudinal center plane of the shoe normal to the sole. Such an adjustment of the inclination from the longitudinal center plane to both sides is associated with the disadvantage that the damping behavior changes fundamentally when the shoe is pivoted in the direction of the template. While with a normal position of the pivot axis for the pivoting of the shaft part into the template or into the reserve, a defined frictional resistance of the lower end of the shaft part at the upper edge of the lower shell and generally also a defined stop for the maximum pivotability in the direction of the template is specified , both the distance to the impact on the stop and the friction behavior when adjusting the cuff changes from this basic setting of the articulation axis.

The invention now aims to enable an adaptation of the shaft part to different leg or calf shapes and, in particular, to achieve a lateral inclination of the shaft part relative to the lower shell, without the damping behavior or the pivoting behavior into and out of the template is impaired or influenced. To achieve this object, the invention essentially consists in that the pivotable shaft part has a flap, which flap extends in the circumferential direction of the shaft part and can be tensioned to the rear of the rear part and in a region of the shaft part which lies transversely to the longitudinal center plane of the shoe and faces the shoe tip is arranged overlapping on the outside, and that the tab is arranged with its free end region in different heights against the shaft part. The flap provided on the pivotable shaft part can be formed in one piece with the shaft part or as a separate flap, the free end of which, at a distance from the pivot axis of the shaft part, for pivoting into a template or a rest position on the side of the ski boot at different heights against the shaft part is exciting. The fact that this definition is possible at different heights results in an adaptation to different leg shapes or calf shapes and also an adjustability of the axis of the shaft part relative to the longitudinal center plane of the ski boot, without the pivotability in the direction of a template or a reserve position or the damping behavior is influenced or impaired when the shaft is pivoted relative to the shell.

For the fixing of the free end of the flap at different heights, the buckle or the articulation point on the flap can be articulated when using buckles, so that during the deformation when closing, the height is adjusted depending on the closing force, as long as the direction of pull is not in the circumferential direction of the shaft or runs parallel to the sole plane.

In order to ensure a sealing closure of the shaft part, the tab should cover or overlap the area facing the toe in the closed position. This can be ensured in a simple manner and without complicated deformation in that the tab is designed as a tab separate from the shaft part and can be connected to the shaft part. Such a separate flap allows a high degree of height adjustment without deformation of the material of the flap by the choice of corresponding articulation axes and can therefore be made relatively rigid. In the case of such a separate flap, the design can be improved with the greatest possible adjustability in a simple manner in that the shaft part in the area of the flap has a recess which is overlapped by the flap in the closed position, thereby ensuring a sealing cover over the entire circumference of the flap is. The flap can have the same lining or padding on the inside as the rest of the shaft part and, in spite of a separate design, form an integrating component of the shaft part with padding which merges directly into the other shaft part. However, the shoe can also be designed with a separate inner shoe, in which case it appears to be advantageous, not least for optical reasons, to make the design so that the shaft part in the region of the flap is designed to have a smaller wall thickness that the The inner contour of the area set to a smaller wall thickness essentially corresponds to the outer contour of the flap and that the recess in the area set to a smaller wall thickness is smaller than the area set to a smaller wall thickness and overlapped by the flap in the closed position. In this way, an essentially step-free outer contour of the ski boot is ensured with good tightness.

For the fixing of the free end of the flap at different heights in the lateral area of the shoe, in particular the upper part itself, the design is made in a particularly advantageous manner so that the upper part has an elongated hole extending towards the sole, in which a fitting part for the definition of the flap is guided displaceably and fixable. In this way, an exact height control is ensured, this design being particularly suitable for a ski boot in which the rear part can be folded down as a tailgate in order to allow entry from behind. The fixing of the flap over a fitting guided in an elongated fitting gives the advantage that only the axis of the shaft, but not the inner circumference of the shaft part, is adjusted, so that unpleasant pressure points are avoided with certainty. In a particularly simple manner, the fitting part can be designed as a component that engages behind the elongated hole and cannot be rotated in the elongated hole, with which a locking member passing through the tab can be non-positively coupled. The engagement can be ensured, for example, by an internal thread in the non-rotatable component and a bolt thread of the locking member, or by other known clamping closures, such as a lever with an eccentric pressing surface, which is anchored in the component guided in the elongated hole.

To further increase the security of the locking of the selected altitude, the design can advantageously be such that the component engaging behind the elongated hole is formed on its surface engaging behind the inside of the shaft part with friction-increasing means, in particular a toothing extending transversely to the longitudinal axis of the elongated hole is.

In a particularly advantageous manner, the elongated hole in the shaft part is arranged above the swivel axis of the shaft part, the lower edge of the flap preferably extending close to the lower edge of the shaft part, preferably up to the transition into the instep area. With such a design, with a relatively small length of the elongated hole, extensive adjustment of the axis of the shaft can be achieved without any significant adjustment of the inner circumference of the shaft part. The adjustability can also be ensured with relatively hard plastic as the material of the shaft part, the flap preferably extending over a central angle of 90 ° to 180 ° of the shaft part in order to ensure that the flap is not overloaded in its root and tends to form cracks. In order to exclude with certainty such an overload at the root of the flap, as it could occur in the case of a one-piece design of the flap with the shaft part, the design is preferably such that the end region of the flap facing away from the height-adjustable fixing has a substantially horizontal one Axis of the shaft part intersecting or crossing axis is pivotally attached to the shaft part.

In Fig. 1, a ski boot 1 is shown, on the lower shell 2, a shaft part 3 is fixed pivotable about an axis 4. For entry, the heel-side part of the shell 2 can be bent or folded down, and in the case of a foldable design the rear part can also be pivoted about the axis 4. The shaft part 3 has a tab 5 facing the shoe tip, the free end of which can be fixed in height in the direction of the double arrow 6 on the outside of the shaft part 3. In the illustration according to FIG. 2, the device for fixing the flap at different heights is indicated schematically by 7. The tab 5 is shown as a tab formed separately from the remaining part of the shaft part and is fixed on the shaft part so as to be pivotable about an indicated articulation axis 8. With a corresponding elasticity of the material of the flap 5, a second fixing 9 can also be provided on the side facing away from the free end 10 of the flap. By defining at different heights according to the double arrow 6 at the position designated 10, the axis 11 of the shaft can be shifted into different lateral positions relative to the longitudinal median plane and an anatomical adaptation to the calf shape or the leg shape can be achieved. The various conceivable positions of the axis 11, which essentially coincide with the longitudinal center plane of the shoe or are parallel to it, are designated by 12 and 13. The pivot axis 4, about which the shaft part 3 ver in the template or the back position relative to the lower shell 2 can be pivoted, is located at a distance below the point 10 at which the flap is fixed in height.

Bei der Ausbildung nach Fig. 3 und 4 ist der größeren Übersichtlichkeit halber der Frontlappen 5 nicht eingezeichnet.3 and 4, the front flap 5 is not shown for the sake of greater clarity.

This design is in turn a shaft part which is open to the rear and in this way permits the formation of the shoe with a foldable rear part. The shaft part 15 has a recess 16 in its region facing the toe of the shoe, the edge of this recess 16 being formed by an edge region 17 which is set to a smaller wall thickness. This edge area 17 is covered by the front flap 5, the free end area of the front flap 5 being adjustable in height in accordance with the double arrow 6 by moving a fitting part in the elongated hole 18. The pivot axis 14 of this shaft part is in turn arranged at a distance from the elongated hole 18, so that an adjustment of the flap by fixing the flap at different heights has no influence on the pivoting of the shaft part about the axis 14. The component 19 shown in FIG. 5 is provided as a fitting part within the slot 18 and engages behind the slot 18 with a shoulder surface 20 facing the inside of the shaft part 15. Because of its shape, with the transverse dimension corresponding essentially to the transverse dimension of the elongated hole 18 and a greater length in the height direction of the elongated hole 18, this component 19 is guided in the elongated hole 18 in a non-rotatable manner. The shoulder surface 20 facing the inside of the shaft part can be toothed or designed with friction-increasing means, and to fix the front tab 5 at different heights, a screw-in bolt 21 is provided, which is screwed into the internal thread 22 of the component 19 with the interposition of the front tab 5. Analogously, instead of a head 23, this screw bolt can carry a crosshead, on which a lever or the like, which has an eccentric pressing surface. is articulated.
