Die Erfindung besteht darin, daß die Verbindungselemente als Zapfen ausgebildet sind, die fest an den Wasserkästen angebracht sind, so daß der Vorgang des Ausrichtens der Bohrungen in den Befestigungslaschen und in den Wasserkästen und das nachfolgende Durchstecken von Verbindungsbolzen überflüssig wird. Diese Ausgestaltung macht es allerdings erforderlich, insbesondere wenn die Befestigungslaschen aus zwei parallel zueinander verlaufenden Laschenteilen bestehen, die den zugeordneten Wasserkasten jeweils beidseitig übergreifen, daß die Befestigungslaschen eine gewisse Elastizität aufweisen, um sich beim Montagevorgang zumindestens soweit aufspreizen zu lassen, daß sie über die Enden der Zapfen schnappen. Bei Wasser/Luft-Kühlern mit Befestigungslaschen, die als Eckverstärkung ausgebildet und mit je zwei Öffnungen für die Zapfen versehen sind, die in unterschiedlichem Abstand von den Außenseiten der Wasserkästen angebracht sind, ist es besonders vorteilhaft und einfach, wenn der jeweils äußere der beiden Zapfen eine von der Außenseite nach innen ansteigende Auflaufschräge für das zugeordnete Laschenteil besitzt, die dafür sorgt, daß die Laschen sich in dem gewünschten Sinn bis zum Überschnappen über die Bolzen aufspreizen. Diese Ausführung erlaubt es auch in einfacher Weise, die Zapfen einstückig an den Wasserkästen anzuformen. Werden die Öffnungen in den Laschenteilen dem Querschnitt dieses Zapfens in der quer zu den mit den Seitenteilen versehenen Außenseiten verlaufenden Montagerichtung angepaßt, dann ergibt sich ein guter Formschluß zwischen Seitenteilen und Wasserkästen. Der nicht mit der Auflaufschräge versehene Zapfen kann rund ausgebildet sein und mit einer die Laschenteile an den Wasserkästen haltenden Sicherungseinrichtung in der Form einer Federklammer versehen sein. Es ist aber auch bei der neuen Ausführung möglich und vorteilhaft, wenn die Sicherungseinrichtung als eine am freien Ende des Zapfens angeordnete, elastisch nachgiebige Rastanordnung ausgebildet ist, die in einfacher Weise aus zwei gegenüberliegenden Rasthaken bestehen kann, die bei einer besonders vorteilhaften Ausführungsform Teil der Seitenwandungen eines mit rechteckigem Querschnitt versehenen Zapfens sind, dessen Zentrum Doppel-T-förmig ausgebildet ist. Auch der zweite Zapfen weist daher eine nicht rotationssymmetrische Form auf. Eine solche Form läßt sich in einfacher Weise aus Kunststoff herstellen. Auch die Art der Rasteinrichtung ist einfach realisierbar. Um schließlich die genaue Lage der Seitenteile an den Wasserkästen sicherzustellen, ist es zweckmäßig, wenn im Bereich außerhalb mindestens eines der Zapfen Rippen vorgesehen sind, deren freie Stirnseiten als Anlageflächen für die Laschenteile der Seitenteile dienen.In this embodiment, the pin provided with the run-up slope can have a cross section that is not rotationally symmetrical. Dieser Zapfen (36) ist mit einer von den Stirnseiten, d. h. also vom zugeordneten Seitenteil (5' bzw. 6') ausgehenden, zur Längsmittelebene (7) des Kühlers ansteigenden Auflaufschräge (37) versehen und aus Herstellungsgründen ebenfalls als ein kurzer Hohlzapfen ausgebildet, der jedoch, im Gegensatz zum Zapfen (33), nicht rund im Querschnitt, sondern rechteckig ausgebildet ist. Dieser Zapfen (36) ragt auch nicht so weit von den Seiten (32) aus nach außen ab, wie der Zapfen (33). Er greift aber formschlüssig in eine entsprechende Öffnung (38) in den Laschenteilen (12a' bzw. 12b') des Seitenteiles (5') ein. Die Anordnung der Befestigungslasche (13') und an dem anderen Seitenteil (6') ist analog. Im Bereich der beiden Zapfen (33, 36) sind am Wasserkasten (1'), natürlich analog auch am Wasserkasten (2') nach außen abstehende Rippen (39) vorgesehen, deren freie Stirnseiten (40) als Anlageflächen für die Laschenteile (12a', 12b') dienen. Die Seitenteile (5' bzw. 6') können daher seitlich auf die Wasserkästen aufgeschoben werden. Dies geschieht beispielsweise mit dem Seitenteil (5') in Richtung des Pfeiles II in der Fig. 1. Die Laschenteile (12a', 12b') laufen bei diesem Montagevorgang mit ihren freien Enden auf die Auflaufschräge (37) des äußeren Zapfens (36) auf und werden auseinandergespreizt. Dies ist möglich, weil die Befestigungslaschen (12' bzw. 13') entsprechend elastisch ausgebildet sind. Fig. 1 zeigt, daß die Befestigungslaschen (12' bzw. 13') im Bereich der Zapfen (33, 36) nicht durch die äußere Stirnwand (41) zusammengehalten sind, sondern parallel zueinander frei abragen. Sie spreizen sich daher beim Aufschieben auf den Zapfen (36) auseinander bis sie mit ihren Öffnungen (38) beim weiteren Aufschiebevorgang über diese Zapfen (36) schnappen, wobei gleichzeitig gemäß den Fig. 1 bis 4 die runden Öffnungen (42) über die freien Seiten der Zapfen (33) in die in Fig. 3 gezeigte Lage schnappen. Die übrige Ausbildung entspricht jener der Ausführungsform der Fig. 1 bis 4. Für die entsprechenden Teile sind daher auch die gleichen Bezugszeichen gewählt. Der, zur Längsmittelebene (7) hin gerichtete Zapfen (45) der Ausführungsform der Fig. 5 bis 7 besitzt im Gegensatz zum Zapfen (33) einen in etwa rechteckigen Außenquerschnitt, der aus den beiden Außenwänden (46) eines Doppel-T-Mittelteiles (47) gebildet wird.
