Description

The invention relates to a cleaning device for ceiling elements with their side edges receiving channels.

Die einzelnen Auffangrinnen, auch als Sammelrinnen bezeichnet, münden in eine Hauptsammelrinne, von der das Kondensat zum Beispiel in die Kanalisation geleitet wird.EP-A1-7922 or EP-A1-59768 describes suspended ceilings for shielding load-bearing ceilings from rooms such as commercial kitchens, slaughterhouses or the like, which shield load-bearing ceilings against, for example, rising steam and the precipitation of substances contained therein. The suspended ceilings consist of ceiling elements which have a surface which favors the formation of condensate and are accommodated with their side edges in a collecting channel while maintaining a distance from the walls of the collecting channel and to the side edge of the respectively adjacent ceiling element. The individual collecting channels, also known as collecting channels, open into a main collecting channel, from which the condensate is led, for example, into the sewage system.

Although the condensate flowing from the ceiling elements into the collecting channels or main collecting channels usually flows off well due to a gradient in the channels, it is necessary from time to time to clean the channels in order to ensure that the suspended ceiling functions consistently well.

Cleaning is preferably carried out with a cleaning liquid that is spaced from a spray lance into the area between mutually arranged edge areas of ceiling elements and gutters is delivered. If the spray lance is guided freehand, it can now be found again and again that cleaning liquid gets into the area below in an uncontrolled manner. This should be avoided, particularly in the area of cooking equipment, for hygienic reasons alone.

The object of the present invention is to design a cleaning device of the type mentioned in the introduction in such a way that ceiling elements and channels can be cleaned without problems, without the cleaning liquid being able to be dispensed in an uncontrolled manner. Furthermore, the possibility is to be created of continuously cleaning the collecting troughs or main collecting troughs arranged at different heights without the cleaning device needing any other guidance in the overlapping area. It should also be ensured that the cleaning device can also be operated by inexperienced personnel without the risk that the elements will not be completely cleaned.

The object is achieved according to the invention in that the cleaning device having at least one cleaning fluid-dispensing nozzle comprises at least two partial sections locked when interacting with a channel, starting from a base element, at least one of which is designed to be pivotable and two of which can be supported on the channel, the Run out the support device leading the cleaning device along the channel. Preferably, both the sections having the support elements are designed to be pivotable. The teaching according to the invention provides a cleaning device which is guided along the channel in a targeted manner without causing an oscillating movement, since the support elements, which are preferably designed as rotating elements such as wheels, ensure reliable guidance of the cleaning device along the channel. In order to ensure that the distance between the cleaning device and the ceiling elements is firmly maintained when interacting with the channel, two supporting elements of a partial section interact with areas of the channel in such a way that only movement in the longitudinal direction of the channel can take place. To this For this purpose, a support element is preferably supported on the free upper edge of the channel and another support element on a lower projection or on a lower edge, so that no transverse movement and possibly not even vertical movement of the cleaning device is possible.

For this purpose, the support elements designed as guide wheels or guide rollers can have steps which interact with corresponding sections of the channel.

In order to enable the cleaning device to be easily attached to a channel, the pivot point of the pivotable section or sections is offset in relation to its center of gravity in the direction of the channel. Accordingly, the partial sections, which preferably consist of flat sections describing an angle to one another, endeavor to pivot away from the channel. This movement is counteracted by an element acted upon by a spring, which cooperates with the partial sections in such a way that they pivot in the direction of the channel and the spacer elements can interact with regions of the channel. As a result, the channel is received by the spacer elements of the cleaning device. In this position, self-locking takes place, as a result of which an uncontrolled unfolding of the flat sections is no longer possible. The cleaning device can then be moved along the channel in order to clean the ceiling elements or the channel, preferably via a plurality of nozzles.

Since the cleaning device is at a fixed distance from the ceiling elements and the channel via the spacer elements, this ensures that the cleaning takes place to the desired extent without the cleaning liquid dripping down in an uncontrolled manner or the like.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the nozzles emanating from the base element, which can be designed as a collecting trough for cleaning liquid, are resiliently supported and against the ceiling elements are supported by additional support elements such as rotating elements. This provides additional assurance that the nozzles are at the required defined distance from the sections of the false ceiling to be cleaned. The nozzles themselves can start from the base element in a detachable or exchangeable manner. This is necessary if the main collecting channel and vice versa are to be cleaned instead of the collecting channels. It is also possible in this way that the main collecting channel can be cleaned continuously without being impeded by the individual collecting channels.

In a further embodiment of the invention which is to be emphasized, the base element is connected to a stem element on the side facing away from the channel, that is to say the underside, via a ball joint-like connection, in order to be able to clean the floor area. In this case, the base element can have, on the underside, a receiving device comprising a sleeve, into which an eyelet element starting from the stem element engages, the sleeve optionally receiving the eyelet element. With this simple construction, there is the advantage that when the cleaning device is attached there is a quasi-rigid connection between the handle and the cleaning head, so that the support elements can easily interact with the areas of the channel to be assigned. As soon as the cleaning head is attached, the eyelet can then be removed from the sleeve, so that there is an articulated connection between the stem and the base element.

In order not to be able to remove the eyelet and thus the handle from the base element in an uncontrolled manner, the sleeve is received in the articulated connection to the base element by a hook-shaped section of the receiving device which has an opening through which the eyelet can only be guided if it is horizontally, that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the sleeve through the opening.

Finally, according to a further proposal of the invention, a stripping device such as a brush can be used from the base element go in order to be able to wipe off any drops present on the underside of the channel.

It is also possible to design the cleaning device to be motor-driven, that is to say that the base element of the channel having the partial sections is moved by means of a drive. In addition, the cleaning device can have limit switches so that a movement reversal occurs when an end of a channel is reached.

Further details, advantages and features of the invention result not only from the claims, but also from the preferred exemplary embodiment which can be found in the drawing.

These themselves consist of two sections 26, 28 or 30 and 32 describing an angle and are essentially flat. In the area of the intersecting parts 26, 28 or 30 and 32, sections 34 and 36, which represent an extension of the legs 26 and 30, extend in the direction of the base element 16, which in turn then interact with the sections 38 and 40 of the element 24 , if as described in more detail below, the sections 18, 20 cooperate with a channel 40 of a lower ceiling shielding a load-bearing ceiling, into which the free end sections 42, 44 engage, spaced apart from ceiling elements 46, 48.

The element 24, which has two sections 50, 52 which together form approximately a V-shape, comprises at the intersection of the legs 50, 52 a rod-shaped element 54 which is encompassed by the spring 22 and penetrates the base element, and thus from the underside 56 to be grasped. From the underside 56 of the base element 16 there is also a receiving device 58 which comprises a sleeve 60 into which the eyelet 14 can optionally engage. If the eyelet 14 is pushed into the sleeve 16 (dashed line in FIG. 2), it is no longer possible to pivot between the handle and the head 12 of the cleaning device 10 if the handle is not connected. If, on the other hand, the eyelet 14 is pulled out of the sleeve 60, free movement between the head 12 and the stem is possible, which acts like a ball joint-like connection.

In this case, the eyelet 14 moves in a hook-like section 62 of the receiving device 58, which opens an opening 64 to the sleeve 60, through which the eyelet 14 can be pulled out when it is in a horizontal position. This ensures that an uncontrolled slipping out of the receiving device 58 is not possible with a normal movement of the handle.

So that the cleaning device 10 can clean the channel 40 and the ceiling elements 46 and 48 to the desired extent, the base element 16 preferably starts with nozzle arrangements, of which the nozzle heads 66 and 68 are shown schematically. During cleaning, these must be at a defined distance from the ceiling elements 46 and 48 or from the channel 40. This is achieved on the one hand by starting from the sections 18, 20 spacer elements 70, 72, 74, 76, which in turn cooperate with the channel 40 to such an extent that only a movement of the cleaning device 10 in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the channel 40 is possible isl.

For this purpose, the spacer elements 70, 72, 74, 76 to be referred to as guide rollers interact with projections 80, 82 or 84, 86 which are symmetrical to the central axis 78 of the channel 40 and which preferably have the upper edges 80, 82 or the lower edges 84, 86 of the channel 40 form. The guide rollers 70, 72, 74, 76 can be designed such that a partial encompassment of the corresponding sections 80, 82, 84, 86 is given, so that neither a pendulous movement, nor a vertical displacement of the cleaning head 12 and thus of the entire Cleaning device 10 is possible.

28, 34 befinden. In order to allow the support elements 70, 72, 74, 76 to interact with assigned regions of the channel 40, the sections 18, 20 can be pivoted about axes 88, 90 which are offset in the direction of the center of the channel with respect to the center of gravity of the sections 18, 20 are. It follows from this that the sections 18, 20 normally endeavor to tip outwards, ie to move away from the channel 40. This movement is counteracted by the element 24 cooperating with the spring 22 with its end sections 38 and 40. They slide along the leg portions 28, 32 of the sections 18 and 20 toward the groove 40 and thus move the sections 1 8, 20 with the support elements 70, 72, 74, 76 to the channel 40.. Self-locking is then provided when sections 38 and 40 are located between sections 32, 36 and 28, 34, respectively.

If the cleaning device 10 or the head 12 is now to be hung on the channel 40, the pin 54 must first be moved against the spring force 52 by the channel 40, for example via a tension element (not shown). In this case, the sections 18, 20 fold outwards. If the head 12 is then in the region of the channel 40, the pin 54 is released so that, due to the spring force 52, the legs 50, 52 of the element 24 slide along the legs 28, 32 of the partial sections 18 until self-locking. In this case, the support elements 70, 72, 74, 76 engage in the assigned areas 80, 82, 84, 86 of the channel 40, so that the cleaning device 10 can only be moved along the channel 40. Is during this mounting process of course the eyelet 14 in the sleeve 60, so that a controlled guiding of the head 12 is possible from the ground.

In addition, it should be mentioned that the nozzles can be spring-loaded and can have further spacing elements 92, 94, shown purely schematically in the area of the heads 66, 68, in order to additionally ensure a well-defined distance between the nozzle head 66, 68 and the associated ceiling elements 46 and 48; because the spring support causes the nozzle heads 66, 68 to act in the direction of the ceiling elements 46, 48.

Finally, the base element 16 can be designed as a collecting trough for possibly dripping cleaning liquid. A stripping device, preferably in the form of a brush, can also emanate from the base element 16 and can be moved along the underside of the channel 40 in order to be able to scrape off drops present there.
