Description
- La présente invention concerne un emballage du type à refermeture constitué d'une enveloppe extérieure relativement rigide et d'un sachet intérieur souple à soufflets.
- On connaît déjà de nombreux emballages dont le but est d'améliorer l'étanchéité dudit emballage après le conditionnement du produit et le scellage du sachet intérieur. Le brevet US 2 463 313 concerne notamment un tel procédé, selon lequel on assure une bonne étanchéité grâce à une manière spécifique de pliage et d'application de chaleur et de pression sur le sachet intérieur. Le brevet US 3 392 901 concerne un emballage du type à refermeture comportant un carton extérieur et une enveloppe interne. Cet emballage n'est cependant pas d'un maniement très aisé. En effet, il comporte une languette d'arrachage, il oblige à une double pliure de l'enveloppe interne et externe et finalement la fermeture et la refermeture ne se font pas de la même manière. Le problème à la base de la présente invention est donc de trouver un emballage du type à refermeture, garantissant une bonne étanchéité et imperméabilité, c'est-à-dire une bonne durée de vie du produit après ouverture de l'emballage. Il faut d'autre part disposer d'un emballage de maniement assez simple pour le consommateur et dont le prix soit suffisamment attractif par rapport à ce qui existe actuellement sur le marché. L'emballage du type à refermeture selon la présente invention permet de mettre à disposition des consommateurs un tel emballage.
- L'invention concerne un emballage du type à refermeture constitué d'une enveloppe extérieure relativement rigide et d'un sachet intérieur souple à soufflets, solidaire de ladite enveloppe, dans lequel l'enveloppe comprend à sa partie supérieure et sur sa paroi dorsale un premier volet muni d'un prolongement dirigé en position ouverte ou dépliée vers le fond et en position fermée ou repliée vers le haut et d'autre part un deuxième volet coopérant avec le prolongement du premier volet pour maintenir l'emballage en position ouverte ou fermée, ledit premier volet pliant et pinçant en position fermée les deux faces de l'extrémité du sachet sur l'arête de la paroi frontale selon un angle compris entre 90 et 180°. L'angle de pliure du sachet est de préférence compris entre 140 et 180°.
- L'emballage du type à refermeture selon l'invention trouve des applications surtout pour le conditionnement de produits alimentaires, mais est également envisageable dans d'autres secteurs industriels. Dans le domaine alimentaire, l'emballage est prévu chaque fois qu'on conditionne un produit sensible à l'air et/ou à l'humidité et/ou un produit dont la conservation de l'arôme est primordial, par exemple du café soluble ou torréfié.
- Le sachet intérieur est un sachet à soufflets, fabriqué à partir d'une feuille mince de 0.02 à 0,3 mm d'épaisseur. La nature de cette feuille dépend du produit à emballer : papier éventuellement enduit, matière plastique telle que polyester, métallisée le cas échéant, complexe d'aluminium etc... suivant que le sachet doit être étanche à l'humidité et/ou a l'oxygène par exemple.
- Pour la fabrication il y a généralement avantage à ce que la feuille soit thermosoudable.
- Par exemple, une bande est repliée longitudinalement sur elle-même et scellée bord à bord, puis scellée transversalement à une extrémité après formage des soufflets latéraux, ensuite de quoi le sachet est rempli et scellé transversalement à l'autre extrémité. Pour l'emballage selon l'invention, il est préférable que l'extrémité inférieure soit aplatie pour s'adapter au fond de l'enveloppe extérieure.
- Une autre méthode de formation d'un sachet à soufflets consiste à plier longitudinalement les deux bords d'une bande sur la profondeur des soufflets, puis de plier la bande transversalement de façon à faire se rejoindre les bords latéraux à l'intérieur et à les souder ensemble. Le sachet est alors ouvert à une extrémité par laquelle il est rempli, puis cette extrémité est scellée et de préférence aplatie pour former le fond.
- En variante, la partie supérieure du sachet est munie d'un organe de déchirage tel qu'un fil ou une bandelette. Sinon, le sachet scellé peut être ouvert en coupant la partie supérieure.
- L'enveloppe extérieure est essentiellement constituée d'au moins une feuille relativement rigide de carton, de carton couché ou enduit, de matière plastique par exemple, de 0,4 à 1,5 mm d'épaisseur. Dans une forme d'exécution préférentielle, elle présente une base carrée ou rectangulaire et le volet de fermeture se trouve au sommet.
- Les figures annexées représentent l'emballage selon l'invention.
- La Figure 1 représente en coupe verticale l'emballage selon l'invention, ouvert.
- La Figure 2 représente l'emballage de la Figure 1 fermé.
- Selon les figures 1 et 2, l'enveloppe extérieure (1) entoure un sachet (2) en laissant libres les côtés de celui-ci. Dans la forme d'exécution représentée au dessin, l'enveloppe est faite de deux feuilles collées ensemble au niveau du fond, de manière à pouvoir remplir par le fond avant collage. En variante, si le remplissage s'effectue par le haut, l'enveloppe (1) est faite d'une seule feuille.
- L'une des faces de l'enveloppe (1) comprend un premier volet (3) muni d'un prolongement (4) et un second volet flexible (5) coopérant avec ce dernier pour maintenir le volet (3) ouvert ou fermé. L'extrémité supérieure du sachet (2) est collée à l'enveloppe (1) du côté du volet (3).
- Dans la position représentée à la Figure 1, l'emballage est ouvert, et le second volet flexible (5) le maintient dans cette position. Pour fermer l'emballage, on rapproche le haut des faces de l'enveloppe (1) et on rabat le volet (3) au-delà du point mort du second volet flexible (5) comme représenté à la Figure 2, de sorte que le volet (3) est maintenu en position fermée. Les deux faces de l'extrémité du sachet (2) sont alors repliées et pincées par le volet (3), assurant une bonne fermeture de l'emballage. L'extrémité du sachet (2) se prolonge après la pliure de préférence de 5 à 30 mm.
