Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung nach dem Gattungsbegriff des vorliegenden Patentanspruchs 1. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, bei Werkstücken, die aus stab- und flächenförmigen Bauteilen zusammengesetzt sind, d.h., bei Bauteilen, die quer zur Gutförderrichtung verlaufende Einzelteile aufweisen, eine automatische Farbbeschichtung zu ermöglichen und das manuelle Nachspritzen zu vermeiden. Mit 1 und 1'sind zwei, einander nachgeschaltete und leistenbesetzte Endlosförderer bezeichnet, die zum Transport von Werkstücken 2 (z. Bsp. Stahlträger mit Kopf- und/oder Fußplatten) bestimmt sind. In Höhe des Zwischenraumes zwischen den benachbarten Endlosförderern 1;1' ist unterhalb und oberhalb der Werkstücktransportebene je eine Farbspritzeinrichtung angeordnet, die quer zur Werkstückförderrichtung über je einen Tragarm 3;3* verfahrbar und wie folgt ausgebildet ist: Je zwei, in der Vertikaleben arbeitende Spritzpistolen 4 u. 4' sind zur Farbbeschichtung der horizontalen Flächen der zu behandelnden.Werkstücke bestimmt. Je vier schräg angestellte und paarweise mit Abstand zueinander angeordnete zusätzliche Pistolen 5;5' dienen der Farbbeschichtung von quer zur Förderrichtung stehenden Werkstückteilen. Diese zusätzlichen Pistolen werden selbstätig geschaltet, wenn Werkstückteile der letztgenannten Art über eine aus Gebern 6 und Empfängern 7 bestehende Lichtschranke erfaßt werden. Mit 8 ist eine kapazitiv arbeitende, zusätzliche oder wahlweise verwendbare Tasteinrichtung für den entsprechenden Zweck angedeutet. Die Pistolen 5;5' können im Arbeitswinkel verstellbar sein. Die unteren Pistolen 5' sind als Winkelpistolen ausgebildet. Die gesamte Farbspritzeinrichtung ist in einem Rahmen 9 angeordnet. Die Querverschiebung der Pistolengruppen erfolgt über einen Motor 1o und zugehörige Getriebe 11. Gleitschienen 12 dienen der Führung der über die Tragarme 3;3' gehaltenen Pistolengruppen.
