Claims (6)

1. Verdrahteter Schaltkreis zur Verwaltung von Fenstern auf einem Bildschirm, der zwischen einen in ebensoviele Seiten wie mögliche Fenster gegliederten Bildspeicher und ein Bildschirmkontrollgerät geschaltet ist, wobei jede Seite einem bestimmten Fenster entspricht und die Aspektworte der Punkt- oder Zeichenpositionen eines ganz oder teilweise in diesem Fenster auf dem Bildschirm darzustellenden Dokumentes aufweist, und das Kontrollgerät ein Auffrischungssignal der Bildschirmanzeige durch Zeilenabtastung der aufeinanderfolgenden Punkt- oder Zeichenpositionen und durch gleichzeitiges Auslesen einer beliebigen Seite des Bildspeichers mit Hilfe eines Adressenwortes erzeugt, von der eine sog. Abszissenbitgruppe einen Wert annimmt, der sich auf die Spalte der in einer Zeilenabtastung abgetasteten Punkt- oder Zeichenposition bezieht, und von der eine andere sog. Ordinatenbitgruppe einen Wert annimmt, der sich auf die Zeilennummer der gerade abgetasteten Zeile bezieht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß er umfaßt :
- zwei Hilfspeicher, von denen einer (3) Fensterabszissenprojektionsspeicher genannt und von mindestens einem aus Bits mit dem höchsten Gewicht bestehenden Teil X der Abszissenbitgruppe adressiert wird, für jeden Wert des Teils X der Abszissenbitgruppe einen Abszissenbesetzungspointer je Fenster aufweist, der anzeigt, ob das betreffende Fenster Punkt- oder Zeichenpositionen besitzt oder nicht, denen das Bildschirmkontrollgerät ein Adressenwort mit diesem Wert für den Teil X der Abszissenbitgruppe entsprechen läßt, während der andere Hilfsspeicher (4) Fensterordinatenprojektionsspeicher genannt und von mindestens einem aus Bits mit dem höchsten Gewicht bestehenden Teil Y der Ordinatenbitgruppe adressiert wird und für jeden Wert des Teils Y der Ordinatenbitgruppe einen Ordinatenbesetzungspointer je Fenster aufweist, der anzeigt, ob das betreffende Fenster Punkt- oder Zeichenpositionen besitzt, denen das Bildschirmkontrollgerät ein Adressenwort mit diesem Wert für den Teil Y der Ordinatenbitgruppe entsprechen läßt ;
- eine Schnittpunktlogik (5), die an die Ausgänge der Fensterabszissen- und Fensterordinatenprojektionsspeicher (3, 4) angeschlossen ist, um die Fenster zu ermitteln, denen die Punkt-oder Zeichenposition bei der Abtastung durch das Bildschirmkontrollgerät zugehört, und
- einen Prioritätskodierer (6), der an den Ausgang der Schnittpunktlogik (5) angeschlossen ist und unter Beachtung der Überlagerungsreihenfolge der Fenster die Nummer des auf dem Bildschirm sichtbaren Fensters angibt, dem die Position des vom Bildschirmkontrollgerät abgetasteten Punktes oder Zeichens zugehört, wobei die Nummer zur Vervollständigung des Adressenwortes des Bildschirmkontrollgeräts im Hinblick auf die Seitenauswahl des Bildspeichers dient.
2. Schaltkreis nach Anspruch 1, mit Hilfsspeichern (3, 4) für die Abszissen- und Ordinatenprojektionen der Fenster und für die Abszissen- bzw. Ordinatenbesetzungspointer. die je aus einem Bit mit Logikwert (1) bestehen, wenn das Fenster, dem er entspricht, auf den betrachteten Wert des Abschnitts der Abszissenbitgruppe (X) bzw. der Ordinatenbitgruppe (Y) projiziert wird, und aus einem Bit mit einem Logikwert 0 im entgegengesetzten Falle, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schnittpunktlogik (5) aus einer Batterie von logischen UND-Gattern mit je zwei Eingängen besteht, die je an ihren beiden Eingängen die Abszissen- und Ordinatenbesetzungspointer zugeführt erhalten, die sich auf ein gleiches Fenster beziehen.
3. Schaltkreis nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Hilfsspeicher (3, 4) der Abszissen- und Ordinatenprojektionen der Fenster jeweils durch einen unterschiedlichen Arbeitsspeicher (11, 12) gebildet sind.

Schaltkreis nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Hilfsspeicher (3, 4) der Abszissen- und Ordinatenprojektionen der Fenster mit Hilfe desselben Arbeitsspeichers (30) gebildet sind und daß der Kreis einen Pufferspeicher (31) am Ausgang des Arbeitsspeichers (30) aufweist, der es erlaubt, gleichzeitig die Abszissen- und Ordinatenbesetzungspointer eines beliebigen Fensters an die Schnittpunktlogik (32) anzuschalten.

Schaltkreis nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Fenster nach Gruppen unterteilt und die Hilfsspeicher (21, 22) dar Abszissen- und Ordinatenprojektionen der Fenster in soviele Zonen gegliedert sind wie es Fenstergruppen gibt, welche mit Hilfe von Phasenbits (ϕ) aus einem Zähler (20) ausgewählt werden, der einen vollen Zählzyklus je Wertewechsel des Adressenwortes des Bildschirmkontrollgerätes macht.
