Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a connecting element for the electrically conductive connection of a plug pin to a conductor wire according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such a connecting element is known for example from EP-A-00 73 275. In this older connecting element, the body consists of a bracket, which has an abutment leg and a semicircular groove and a center piece, the groove being formed by a stump of the bracket. The mounting of the clamping plate as a swivel part on the groove requires a comparatively wide design of the connecting element, which limits its use for small switches and reduces the distance between adjacent connecting elements. Another disadvantage with regard to the size is that the clamping element is only an angled bracket in principle, which deforms when the clamping screws are tightened and therefore reduces the clamping force.
The object of the present invention is therefore to improve a connecting element of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that, with smaller outer dimensions, at least the same clamping forces can be generated without thereby reducing the ease of use.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.
For the connection of two conductor wires, the clamping surface of the clamping plate facing the first-mentioned inner surface is preferably provided with two concave recesses for partially enclosing the wire-shaped conductors.
According to a further preferred exemplary embodiment, it is provided that a wedge surface parallel to the second inner surface is arranged at the upper end of the displacement path of the clamping plate. This makes it possible to simultaneously force the clamping plate away from the first-mentioned surface when relaxing.
- Fig. 1
- einen Längsschnitt durch einen Anschluss entsprechend dem Schnitt I - I in Fig. 2 und
- Fig. 2
- einen Schnitt längs der Linie II - II in Fig. 1.
- Fig. 1
- a longitudinal section through a connection corresponding to the section I - I in Fig. 2 and
- Fig. 2
- a section along the line II - II in Fig. 1st
In the drawing, reference number 1 denotes the rear end of the housing of a switching and signaling device which is provided with
So that as a result of the slot opening 14 with play on the
If the command or signaling device is to be provided for a plug connection, the cover 1 a is replaced and the
Furthermore, the clamping plate can be secured by positive locking with parts of the
