Abstract

An inking unit for printing machines wherein ink is fed in a metered fashion from an ink supply tank to inking rollers of the inking unit by which an ink film is applicable to a printing plate via a plurality of ink form rollers respectively in contact with a distributor roller and disengageable from a plate cylinder, the last of the plurality of form rollers, as viewed in rotational direction of the plate cylinder, being constructed so as to oscillate, including a roller shaft mounted so as to be fixed against rotation in bearings on the printing machine, the oscillating form roller having a casing with an outer cylindrical surface, the form roller casing being rotatably mounted on the roller shaft and being axially displaceable on the roller shaft for performing a stroke limited at both sides by respective pairs of bushings also mounted on the roller shaft, and including a respective compression spring disposed between the bushings of the respective pairs of bushings on each side of the oscillating form roller.

Description

In dieser Schrift ist auch erwähnt, daß eine einzelne Farbauftragwalze changierend ausgeführt ist, wobei es sich, in Drehrichtung des Plattenzylinders gesehen, um die letzte Farbauftragwatze handelt. Die Aufgabe wird durch die im Kennzeichen des Anspruches 1 aufgeführten Merkmale gelöst. Die beim Schablonieren auftretenden Dickenunterschiede des Farbfilms auf der letzten Farbauftragwalze werden durch deren axiale Bewegung soweit gegenüber den anderen Farbauftragwalzen verschoben, daß keine scharfen Konturen mehr gegeben sind und damit eine Schabioniererscheinung auf dem fertigen Druckbild nicht mehr sichtbar ist. Durch die weiche und freie Bewegung der Farbauftragwalze und durch den asynchronen Bewegungsablauf gegenüber der zugehörigen Reibwalze über die vorgesehenen Druckfedern wird der Ausgleich des Farbfilms verbessert und ein Verschleiß der Druckplatte vermieden. In der Praxis hat sich eine seitliche Bewegung der Farbauftragwalze von wenigen Millimetern als völlig ausreichend ergeben.The object is achieved by the features listed in the characterizing part of claim 1. Die dargestellte obere Hälfte des Druckwerkes besitzt ein Feuchtwerk 6 zum Befeuchten der auf dem Plattenzylinder 4 angeordneten Druckplatte. Das weiterhin dargestellte Farbwerk 7 besteht aus einem Farbkasten 8, einer Farbkastenwalze 9, mehreren Farb- bzw. Reibwalzen und den Farbauftragwalzen 10, 11 und 12. Zum Druckabstellen sind sowohl die Farbauftragwalzen 10 bis 12 als auch die Feuchtauftragwalze 13 vom Plattenzylinder4 abhebbar gelagert. Danach erfolgt die Mitnahme derselben zur anderen Seite hin, bis die Büchsen 24, 26 aufeinander treffen. Claims (2)

1. Inking unit for printing machines, particularly offset printing machines, in which in a metered fashion the ink is supplied from an ink supply tank (8) to the ink rollers of the inking unit (7) by which the ink film is applicable to the printing plate via a plurality of ink applicator rollers (10, 11, 12), each being in contact with a distributor roller (e.g. 27) and disengageable from the plate cylinder (4), whereby, viewed in direction of rotation of the plate cylinder (4), the last ink applicator roller (12) is constructed so as to oscillate,
wherein the roller casing (14) of the oscillating ink applicator roller (12) is mounted so as to be rotatable and, without a separate oscillating drive caused by the axial stroke movement of the distributor roller (27), axially displaceable on a roller axle (19) which is disposed in bearings (18) in an axially rigid manner and fixed against rotation,
the axial stroke is limited on either side by two bushings (22, 24) and
between the two bushings (22, 24) there is provided a compression spring (26) on each side of the roller.
2. Inking unit according to Claim 1,
wherein the roller casing (14) is mounted on the roller axle (19) via needle bearings (16) having extended inner bushings (17) and the respective bushing (24) disposed on the inside and braced by a compression spring (26) is rotatably mounted in the roller casing (14) via a ball bearing (25).
