Definitions
- the invention relates to a socket and a base according to the preamble of the claim.
- sockets are known in which the connection pin for the focusing voltage is arranged in a chamber, the so-called silo.
- a high-voltage plug with an insulation filling the interior of the silicon serves as the supply line for the high voltage from the power supply part.
- Such a high-voltage plug can also be structurally combined with the other plugs of the socket to form a unit.
- one half of the base or the socket for this one high-voltage connection is provided, all other connections are on the other half of the base. In this way there are sufficiently dimensioned air gaps and creepage distances between the feed lines, which are larger than the protective radio gap.
- the SiLo is approximately as long as the SockeL.
- the socket or the additional high-voltage connector must protrude the base in the direction of its longitudinal extension parallel to the axis of the tube.
- this is disadvantageous in that the installation dimension of the tube is extended by the socket beyond the base.
- protruding the socket over the base must be avoided.
- the design of the well-known SockeL should be retained as much as possible.
- the new SockL differs from the known SockL in that a slit in the outer wall of the base, which runs parallel to the axis of the SockL from the edge of the SiLo, opens the SiLo over 30-60% of its length.
- the supply line to the high-voltage connection is inserted into this slot, which then runs radially outwards from the connection spring located on the inside.
- the length of the socket can be kept so small that it, including the dimension required for the connections of all supply lines, is even shorter than the base itself.
- Possibilities depending on whether the leads are printed conductors or cables.
- a common prerequisite for all types of supply line is that the clearance and creepage distances maintained in the base and socket are maintained.
- the lateral lead-out of the supply line according to the invention in a short version creates good conditions for this.
- Fig. 1 shows the base 5 from the back of the tube with a socket 9, 10 and the printed circuit board 11 formed as a circuit with the connecting leads 8. With 12 the ground connection and 13 the protective spark gaps are designated.
- the SiLo 4 has a slot 2 through which the feed line 3 to the connecting spring 6, which makes contact with the contact pin 7, is guided.
- the Cutout 17 in the base part 10 of the socket can be widened so that the creepage distance 14 is greater than the creepage distance 15 which is also present in the known combinations of socket and socket and is there the smallest creepage distance 15 on the socket.
- FIG. 2 shows the arrangement according to FIG. 1, viewed in the direction of the arrow S. This figure illustrates how the feed line 3 is guided outwards through the slot 2 between the jacket part 9 and the base part 10 of the socket.
- the neck 18 of the bit tube carries the base 5. Potting compound between the neck of the bit tube and the base prevents air and creepage distances.
- the feed line 3 runs in the radial direction through the slot 2 laterally to the outside. The feed line 3 lies in the middle third of the length of the base.
- FIG. 3 Another even more space-saving embodiment is shown in FIG. 3.
- the connecting ends 19 of the feed lines are led out horizontally and connected to the conductor tracks 8 provided on the top of the circuit board.
- FIG. 4 shows that the structure of the base and socket according to the invention does not necessarily require the connections to be made with a printed circuit board 11 designed as a circuit.
- the electrical connections are realized by means of one or more connection plugs 18 on the circumference of the flange-connected parts and bottom parts 9, 10 of the socket.
- the creepage distance 15 runs from the contact pin 7 to the closest of the other contact pins along the surface of the base; as shown in dashed lines in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2.
- the length of the base 5 is dimensioned and the contact pins are arranged in niches in such a way that leakage currents cannot form.
- a creepage distance 14 corresponding to the creepage distance 15 and running on the socket extends along the bottom part 10 of the socket and is shown in FIG. 1 and 2 entered as a dotted line.
- the creepage distance 14 critical for the socket does not need to be longer than the creepage distance 15 which is decisive for the SockeL shorter version is realized in that the SiLo of the base is partially open to the outside.
- This offers structurally advantageous possibilities for forming a space-saving frame, three of which are shown in FIGS. 2 to 4. It is particularly advantageous to design the connecting ends 19 of the feed lines to the connecting springs 6 such that they can be bent from the radial direction in the axial direction or vice versa.
- a socket made of ManteLteiL 9 and bottom part 10 can then be easily adapted to different boards, plugs, etc.
- both can also be formed as one part, the circuit board also being able to be integrated.

Abstract
