Aus der DE-AS 1 918 987 ist eine Farbkastenwalze der vorangehend bezeichneten Gattung bekannt. Zur Beseitigung der sich in dem Farbvorrat befindlichen auf der Mantelfläche der Farbkastenwalze abgelagerten Schmutzteilchen ist in dieser bekannten Farbkastenwalze eine sich in Achsrichtung erstreckende und schraubenförmig verlaufende Nut vorgesehen, in die das Farbmesser die Schmutzteilchen hineinschieben soll. Mit dieser Nut ist keine ausreichende Beseitigung der störenden Schmutzteilchen erreichbar, da wegen des üblicherweise vorhandenen Spaltes zwischen dem Farbmesser der Mantelfläche der Farbkastenwalze diese nicht vollständig von der Mantelfläche der Farbkastenwalze abgerakelt und in die Nut eingebracht werden können.From DE-AS 1 918 987 an ink fountain roller of the type described above is known. Da bekanntlich die Farbkastenwalze 3 mit einer wesentlich niedrigeren Geschwindigkeit als die nachgeschaltete Filmwalze 4 betrieben wird, ist auch zwischen der Farbkastenwalze 3 und der Filmwalze 4 die Einhaltung eines Abstandes, nämlich ein Spalt 6, erforderlich. Üblicherweise ist die Breite des Spaltes 6 zwischen der Farbkastenwalze 3 und der Filmwalze 4 kleiner als die des Spaltes 5 zwischen dem Farbmesser 2 und der Farbkastenwalze 3. Dadurch ist sichergestellt, daß der sich auf der Farbkastenwalze 3 befindliche Farbfilm mit einer entsprechenden Dicke erzeugt wird und somit durch Farbspaltung eine Teilübertragung auf die nachfolgende Filmwalze 4 möglich ist. Gemäß Figur 2 wird deshalb in die Mantelfläche der Farbkastenwalze 3 eine in Achsrichtung verlaufende Nut 7 eingefräst. Das Abstreifelement 8 in der Nut 7 ragt geringfügig aus der kreiszylindrischen Mantelfläche der Farbkastenwalze 3 heraus. Das Maß dieser Überhöhung sollte etwa der Breite des Spaltes 5 entsprechen. Liegt es etwas darüber, so wird das verhältnismäßig weiche Abstandselement 8 während des Betriebes, d. h. während der Rotation der Farbkastenwalze 3, durch die verhältnismäßig harte Kante des Farbmessers 2 abgetragen, so daß sich eine automatische Anpassung des aus der Mantelfläche der Farbkastenwalze 3 herausragenden Teils des Abstreifelementes 8 an die Spaltbreite des Spaltes 5 einstellt. Ein weiterer Abschliff des Abstreifelementes 8 erfolgt in dem Spalt 6 zwischen der Farbkastenwalze 3 und der Filmwalze 4, da, wie bereits erwähnt, dieser Spalt 6 kleiner als der Spalt 5 ist. Es ist jedoch auch möglich, das Überstandsmaß des Abstreifelementes 8 vorab so festzulegen, daß es geringfügig kleiner als die Spaltbreite des Spaltes 6 ist, so daß die vorbeschriebenen Vorgänge nicht eintreten. Das Abstreifelement 8 weist vorzugsweise eine Breite von etwa 3 mm auf und sitzt in einer Nut 7 mit einer Tiefe von 4 mm.A stripping element made of an elastic material is preferably inserted, for example glued, into the groove 7. 1. Duct roller for an inking unit of a rotary printing machine with an ink-carrying circular cylindrical surface, onto which a ductor blade can be set for regulating the ink and from which ink is conveyed to a further inking unit roller which can be set on this, having a device for removing particles of dirt present in the ink supply, characterised in that in order to remove the particles of dirt on the duct roller (3) collecting in the region of the gap (5) between the ductor blade (2) and the surface of the duct roller (3), there is arranged at least one stripping element (8, 10) extending over the length of the duct roller (3), the height of which element above the surface of the duct roller (3) corresponds approximately to the width of the gap (5).
2. Duct roller according to claim 1, characterised in that the stripping element (8, 10) is secured in a groove (7, 9) provided in the surface of the duct roller (3).
3. Duct roller according to claim 2, characterised in that the groove (7, 9) extends spirally.
4. Duct roller according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the stripping element (8) has a rectangular cross-section.
5. Duct roller according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the part of the stripping element (10) projecting over the surface of the duct roller (3) has a wedge-shaped cross-section.
6. Duct roller according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the stripping element (8, 10) is of hard rubber or synthetic material.
7. Duct roller according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the further inking unit roller (4) which can be set onto the duct roller (3) is a film roller.
