Claims (1)
- Four électrique, par exemple four à arc ou four de fusion au plasma, comprenant un mécanisme élévateur (5) actionnant un couvercle de four (2) qui présente une chandelle d'appui fixe (15), un dispositif moteur d'élévation (38) disposé à l'intérieur de la chandelle d'appui fixe (25) et une colonne élévatrice (16), guidée mobile en translation axiale sur la chandelle d'appui fixe (15) au moyen d'une portée supérieure et d'une portée inférieure (17, 18) et qui peut être élevée et abaissée au moyen d'un dispositif moteur d'élévation (38) et être mise en prise et hors de prise avec le couvercle (2) du four, caractérisé en ce que la colonne élévatrice (16), qui est de configuration creuse, entoure la chandelle d'appui fixe (15) sur toute sa périphérie et en ce que le dispositif moteur d'élévation (38), de préférence, un vérin hydraulique à double effet, est articulé, d'une part, sur une plaque frontale (21) qui ferme la colonne élévatrice (16) à son extrémité supérieure et, d'autre part, sur une partie fixe de l'installation, telle que la fondation (10) ou la chandelle d'appui fixe (15).
