Abstract

Eine Dekantier-Zentrifuge, insbesondere eine Gegen­ strom-Maschine, bei welcher innerhalb einer rotierenden Trommel eine mit einer gegenüber der Trommel mit einer Differenz-Drehzahl laufenden Förderschnecke angeordnet ist, wobei sich die Maschine dadurch auszeichnet, daß durch Beeinflussung der Strömung der Flüssigkeit und/oder der bereits sedimentierten Feststoff-Teilchen eine besonders gute Klärwirkung erreicht wird. Vorzugsweise wird ein Intensive-Klärbereich gebildet, in welchem die Schnecken­ steigung wesentlich größer ist als zehn Grad und vorzugs­ weise im Bereich von vierzig bis fünfzig Grad liegt.
