Da ferner bei diesem Einstellverfahren die Kurbelwelle lediglich durch übereinstimmung einer Markierung am Schwungrad mit einer Bezugsmarke am Motorgehäuse in OT-Position angeordnet ist, erscheint das bekannte Einstellverfahren durch eine weitere mögliche Fehlerquelle für die Anwendung vor allem in der Serienherstellung von Dieselmotoren wenig geeignet. Eine Einstellung der Steuerung mit Vorhaltung der Nockenwelle ist insbesondere vorteilhaft bei einem Nockenwellen-Antrieb durch Zahnriemen mit Mehrfach-V-Profil auf der Außenseite zum Antrieb weiterer Aggregate. Mit einer Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 3 zur Durchführung des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens kann der als Zweikant ausgebildete Schlüsselquerschnitt am Außenumfang der Nockenwelle zweckmäßig nahe der Verschraubungsstelle von Nockenwelle und Antriebsrad angeordnet und ferner kostengünstig durch zwei parallele Flächen an einem Anlaufbund der Nockenwelle hergestellt werden. Damit ist einerseits ohne zusätzlichen Materialaufwand ein festigkeitsmäßig steifes Zweikant erzielt und andererseits sind für die exakte Einstellung nachteilige Elastizitäten in der Einstellvorrichtung vermieden. Erfolgt schließlich bei der Herstellung der Nocken einer Nockenwelle deren erforderliche Drehung über das Zweikant, ist somit über dieses Zweikant in Verbindung mit der erfindungsgemäß gegen Trennflächen verspannt angeordneten Vorrichtung ein Höchstmaß an Einstellgenauigkeit in der Steuerung einer Hubkolben-Brennkraftmaschine, insbesondere eines hochverdichteten Dieselmotors mit in OT minimalen Toleranzen zwischen Kolbenboden und Ventiltellern,erzielt.An advantageous further development of the method according to the invention is achieved with claim 2.
