Durch Anschluß derselben an eine Unterdruckquelle ist demnach die Segmentnut 47 ständig mit Saugluft beaufschlagt. Die Übernahme des Zuschnitts 11 durch die Umlenkwalze 29 findet im oberen Bereich derselben bei nächster Nachbarschaft der Saugtrommel 17 statt. Wie insbesondere aus Fig. 6 ersichtlich, ist der hier vorgesehene Saugkasten 34 in den Bereich der Umlenkwalze 29 hinein verlängert, und zwar durch an den Saugkasten 34 anschließende, schmale und kreisbogenförmig gestaltete Saugsegmente 54, 55. Diese sind hier als verhältnismäßig schmale, rinnenartige, nämlich im Querschnitt U-förmige Luftförderorgane ausgebildet. Die feststehenden Saugsegmente 54, 55 erstrecken sich in entsprechend ausgebildeten und dimensionierten Umfangsnuten 56 bzw. 57 der Umlenkwalze 29. Claims (9)

1. Packaging apparatus for producing blanks (11) by cutting a material web (14) and supplying the same to a packaging station by means of a blank conveyor (26) which comprises rotating lateral upright apertured belts (27, 28) having a conveyor belt section (31) subject to negative pressure by rearwardly arranged suction chambers (32, 33), for the linear transport of blanks (11), and which is preceded by a suction drum (17) in the region of which the blanks (11) can be cut from the material web (14), characterized by the following features:
a. the blanks (11) can be supplied directly to the apertured belts (27, 28) of the blank conveyor (26) by the suction drum (17),
b. the suction drum (17) in the region of an (upper) guide roller (29) for the apertured belts (27, 28) lies thereagainst such that the blanks (11) can be supplied to the apertured belts (27, 28) in a peripheral region of the guide roller (29) which can be acted upon by suction air,
c. the guide roller (29) for the apertured belts (27, 28) is acted upon by suction air by way of radial suction bores (46) at least in a peripheral region serving for the transport of the blank (11),
d. the suction bores (46) are acted upon by suction air by way of a preferably axially running central bore (49) in the guide roller (29).
2. Apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that the suction effect (suction air) of the suction drum (17) in the region of the transfer of the blank (11) to the blank conveyor (26) can be switched away, in particular by a venting bore (25) of the suction drum (17) arranged in this region.
3. Apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that the suction bores (46) are connected only in a peripheral region of the guide roller (29) serving for the transport of the blank (11) to a negative pressure source, in particular to the central bore (49).
4. Apparatus according to Claim 1 and one or more of the further claims, characterized in that the guide roller (29) comprises a hollow cylinder (44) which with the radial suction bores (46) is rotatably mounted on a fixed support shaft (45) in which the central bore (49) is guided.
5. Apparatus according to Claim 4, characterized in that the support shaft (45) is provided in the suction region with an outwardly open segmental groove (47) which extends in the peripheral direction of the support shaft (45) and to which on the one hand the suction bores (46) of the rotating hollow cylinder (44) are connectable and to which on the other hand the central bore is connected by way of a radial bore (48).
6. Packaging apparatus for producing blanks (11) by cutting a material web (14) and supplying the same to a packaging station by means of a blank conveyor (26) which comprises rotating lateral upright apertured belts (27, 28) having a conveyor belt section (31) subject to negative pressure by rearwardly arranged suction chambers (32, 33), for the linear transport of blanks (11), and which is preceded by a suction drum (17) in the region of which the blanks (11) can be cut from the material web (14), characterized by the following features:
a. the blanks (11) can be supplied directly to the apertured belts (27, 28) of the blank conveyor (26) by the suction drum (17),
b. the suction drum (17) in the region of an (upper) guide roller (29) for the apertured belts (27, 28) lies thereagainst such that the blanks (11) can be supplied to the apertured belts (27, 28) in a peripheral region of the guide roller (29) which can be acted upon by suction air,
c. in the region of the upper guide roller (29) there are provided, extending in the peripheral direction of the guide roller (29), two fixed suction segments (54, 55), which are totally or partially open on the radially outwardly pointing side,
d. a peripheral region of the guide roller (29) serving for the transport of the blank (11) is acted upon by suction air by the suction segments (54, 55),
e. the suction segments (54, 55) extend in a peripheral groove (56, 57) running in the peripheral direction of the guide roller (29) and end substantially flush with the peripheral surface of the guide roller (29),
f. the suction segments (54, 55) are connected to the associated suction chambers (32, 33) or to a common suction box (34), or part thereof, that is to say extension pieces.
7. Apparatus according to Claim 6, characterized in that the suction segments (54, 55) are constructed to be U-shaped in cross-section.
8. Apparatus according to Claim 1 and one or more of the further claims, characterized in that the suction drum (17) is arranged directly above the guide roller (29) and a tension roller (16) of a tension roller pair (15,16) is arranged directly above the suction drum (17), preferably in a common vertical axial plane.
9. Apparatus according to Claim 1 and one or more of the further claims, characterized in that the apertured belts (27, 28) are constructed with rib- like projections (41) which engage in complementary recesses (42) of the guide rollers (29, 30) in form-fitting manner, in each case one suction aperture (36) being arranged between two successive projections (41).
