Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for hot air drying of continuously moving textile goods, with at least one conveyor belt that transports the textile goods and with devices for supplying hot air to the textile goods.
- the disadvantage of such a dryer is the relatively low specific drying performance. It is essentially explained by the fact that the hot air is brought to the surface of the textile material in the form of a convection flow, but does not flow through the textile material.
- the moderate heat transfer with such a convection flow requires a relatively large drying section and thus leads to a considerable overall length or, in the case of tier construction, to a large overall height of the dryer.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of creating a device of the type mentioned which, with a simple structural design and small size, permits particularly intensive drying of the textile goods (while preserving the possibility of free shrinkage).
- This object is achieved in that a plurality of drying zones with different air routing through which the perforated carrier tape passes are provided, with the air supply and the air removal being located on at least one drying zone on the same side of the carrier tape so that the hot air in the form of a convection flow comes into contact with the textile material lying loosely on the carrier belt in this drying zone, while in at least one further drying zone the air supply is arranged above and the air outlet is arranged below the carrier belt, so that hot air flows through the textile material in this drying zone and is pressed onto the carrier belt.
- drying zone in which the air supply and the air discharge are on the same side of the support; bandes, there is a convection flow, with the textile material being loose (expedient in folds) lies on the carrier tape and as a result can shrink freely.
- the hot air flows through the textile goods from top to bottom, the textile goods being supported on the conveyor belt.
- a particularly high specific drying performance can be achieved when using high flow rates of hot air.
- a particular advantage of the solution according to the invention is that the textile material is transported on one and the same conveyor belt through several drying zones with different air flow. As a result, these drying zones can be moved very close together, which shortens the overall length of the dryer, reduces heat losses and simplifies the construction considerably.
- the device 1 illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2 is used for hot air drying of textile goods 3 which are moved continuously in the direction of the arrows 2 (that is, in the longitudinal direction).
- This illustrated embodiment is a drying device 1, in which for transporting the Textile goods 3 two superimposed, continuous longitudinal support belts are provided, each of which can be formed in the usual manner by a screen belt or another suitable perforated support belt.
- each carrier tape 4 serves to place the textile material 3 to be dried, so that the device 1 has two drying levels lying one above the other, through which the textile material 3 passes one after the other (in the direction of the arrow 2);
- the textile material 3 is thus first dried in the upper floor formed by the upper carrying belt 4 and then (in opposite directions) in the second floor below it is formed by the lower carrier tape 5.
- the inlet and the outlet for the textile material 3 are thus located on the same end face 1a of the device 1.
- the device 1 has a housing 6, which is designed in a customary manner in the usual manner, and is divided in the longitudinal direction in each drying level into a plurality of drying zones with different air routing which are successively penetrated by the associated support tape 4 or 5.
- each drying level namely the drying zones 7 to 10 in the upper drying level and the drying zones 11 to 14 in the lower drying level , each seen in the order in which the textile goods 3 pass through them (according to arrow 2).
- the drying zones 7 and 9 of the upper drying level and 11 and 13 of the lower drying level each form an inflation drying zone, while the drying zones 8 and 10 of the upper level and 12 and 14 of the lower level are each designed as suction drying zones, so that the inflation drying zones 7, 9, 11 and 13 and the suction drying zones 8, 10, 12, 14 are arranged alternately over the length of the device 1 or each drying floor.
- drying zones 7 to 10 of the upper floor each directly above ent speaking drying zones 11 to 14 of the lower floor, with an inflation drying zone lying above a suction drying zone or vice versa, and two drying zones one above the other (i.e. 7 and 14, 8 and 13, 9 and 12 as well as 10 and 11) forming a drying section ;
- the drying zones 7 to 14 have two types of air flow which are different in principle.
- the air supply and the air discharge are on the same side of the associated support belt 4 or 5, so that the hot air in the form of a convection flow with the loose in these drying zones on the support belt 4 or 5 Textile 3 comes into contact;
- the suction drying zones 8, 10, 12, 14 the air supply is arranged above and the air discharge below the carrying belt, so that the textile material 3 flows through the hot air in these drying zones and is pressed onto the carrying belt 4 or 5, ie, with others Words, in these suction drying zones 8, 10, 12, 14 the hot air is sucked through the textile material 3.
- Each inflation drying zone 7, 9, 11, 13 is constructed essentially in the same manner and contains a group of hot air over and under each of the carrying belt 4 or 5 nozzle boxes (upper nozzle boxes 15 and lower nozzle boxes 16) that span the entire width of the fabric (see FIG. 2).
- the nozzle boxes 15 of the upper group of each inflation drying zone have hot air outlet slots 17, 17a directed obliquely towards the textile material 3 in the transport direction (arrow 2) (cf. also FIG. 3).
- the outlet slot 17a of the first nozzle box 15 of each group is inclined at an angle ⁇ of approximately 10 to 20 °, preferably approximately 15 °, to the horizontal, while the outlet slots 17 of the other nozzle boxes 15 are inclined the horizontal form an angle ⁇ of approximately 45 to 75 °, preferably approximately 60 °.
- the nozzle boxes 16 of the lower group of each inflation drying zone have hot air outlet slots 18 directed approximately perpendicular to the carrier tape 4 or 5.
- these outlet slots 18 of the lower nozzle boxes 16 are offset with respect to the oblique outlet slots 17, 17a of the upper nozzle boxes 15 in the longitudinal direction of the device 1 (see in particular FIG. 3).
- the advantage of the outlet slots 17 directed obliquely against the carrier tape 4, 5 or the textile material 3 located thereon is a stabilization of the textile material 3 during its transport (even if it is a multi-lane textile material), while the advantage of the at a flatter angle cL directed exit slot 17a of the first nozzle box 15 lies in that a longitudinal curling of the textile goods 3 is prevented when new goods arrive. It is furthermore expedient not to provide any lower nozzle box 16 which blows out upwards under these first upper nozzle boxes 15 (with the flatly inclined outlet slot 17a).
- the hot air emerging from the upper and lower nozzle boxes 15, 16 and their outlet slots 17, 17a and 18 is shown in FIG. 3 by dashed arrows.
- low-friction guide elements 19 In order to prevent the textile material 3 from being grinded, braked or possibly diverted on the undersides of these nozzle boxes 15 during transport below the upper nozzle boxes 15 of each inflation drying zone 7, 9, 11, 13, a number of is located just below each upper nozzle box group arranged in the direction of movement of the textile material 3, low-friction guide elements 19 (see. Fig.3).
- These guide elements 19 can be narrow tapes, cords, wires or similar elements which consist of or are coated with low-friction material and which are at a sufficient distance from one another (viewed in the transverse direction of the device 1). are arranged so that the hot air emerging from the upper nozzle boxes 15 in the direction of the textile material 3 can flow through there without significant impairment.
- the suction drying zones 8, 10, 12, 14 are also essentially of the same design.
- a vacuum box 20 which also extends over the entire width of the fabric, under the carrying belt 4 or 5 (if necessary, several such vacuum boxes can of course also be arranged in each suction drying zone).
- Each vacuum box 20 has a suitable perforation on its upper side 20a directed against the carrier tape 4 or 5 and extends in the longitudinal direction of the device 1 almost over the entire effective length of the associated suction drying zone.
- a particularly expedient structure of the device 1 results from the cross-sectional illustration in FIG. 2.
- two drying zones lying one above the other with different air guidance each form a drying section.
- the drying section is formed by the suction drying zone 8 lying above and the inflation drying zone 13 lying underneath.
- Each drying section of the device 1 is now assigned a single circulating air fan (for example 21 in FIG. 2) in such a way that the two drying zones lying one above the other (upper suction drying zone 8 and lower inflation drying zone 13) one after the other the same hot air flow (dashed arrows 22) are penetrated.
- a suitable heat exchanger 23 of conventional design is expediently connected upstream of the suction side of the fan 21.
- each drying section a part of the circulating air can also be diverted in a conventional manner via a pipe connection 24 and via a manifold 25 (common to all drying sections), while a corresponding proportion of fresh air is newly introduced (which is not illustrated in more detail).
- the fan 21 is on the side arranged on the left long side.
- a corresponding device which essentially contains a suction hood 26 extending over the entire working width (perpendicular to the plane of the drawing in FIG. 11 of the device 1) and a sieve plate 27 installed in the end face 1a of the device 1 or the housing 6.
- the suction hood 26 extends from the end face 1a of the device 1, that is to say from the sieve plate 27, in the longitudinal direction of the device 1 inclined towards the textile material 3, this suction hood 26 having approximately the same length as this suction drying zone 14.
- suction drying zone mixes 14 supplied cool fresh air (arrows 28) to warm ambient air (arrows 29) so that the textile material 3 flows through this mixing air and is thereby cooled in a favorable manner.
- the T is empe- temperature of the mixed air is increased before a final
- the circulating air is heated up in the usual way with the aid of the heat exchanger assigned to the fan
- the suction hood 26 and the sieve plate 27 can thus be continuously supplied with sufficiently dry and cool fresh air in the entire air circulation system of the device 1.
- the last drying zone can be formed with only one floor. If only the upper floor were to be present in FIG. 1, then the suction drying zone 10 would be the last drying zone through which the textile material passed, and would accordingly be equipped with devices for introducing the cool fresh air.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for hot air drying of continuously moving textile goods, with at least one conveyor belt that transports the textile goods and with devices for supplying hot air to the textile goods.
In a known drying device of the above-mentioned type (DE-AS 23 60 484), several drying zones of the same design are provided, each of which contains a carrying belt for transporting the textile goods, with nozzles being provided above and below the carrying belt, through which a hot air flow to the The top and bottom of the textile material is introduced. In such a dryer, the textile material lies only very loosely on the carrier belt and, as a result, (with appropriate folds specified) has the possibility of shrinking perfectly.
However, the disadvantage of such a dryer is the relatively low specific drying performance. It is essentially explained by the fact that the hot air is brought to the surface of the textile material in the form of a convection flow, but does not flow through the textile material. The moderate heat transfer with such a convection flow requires a relatively large drying section and thus leads to a considerable overall length or, in the case of tier construction, to a large overall height of the dryer.
The invention is therefore based on the object of creating a device of the type mentioned which, with a simple structural design and small size, permits particularly intensive drying of the textile goods (while preserving the possibility of free shrinkage).
This object is achieved in that a plurality of drying zones with different air routing through which the perforated carrier tape passes are provided, with the air supply and the air removal being located on at least one drying zone on the same side of the carrier tape so that the hot air in the form of a convection flow comes into contact with the textile material lying loosely on the carrier belt in this drying zone, while in at least one further drying zone the air supply is arranged above and the air outlet is arranged below the carrier belt, so that hot air flows through the textile material in this drying zone and is pressed onto the carrier belt.
By using several drying zones with different air flow, which are interspersed with the textile material, a high specific drying performance is achieved and at the same time a free shrinking of the textile material is guaranteed. In the drying zone, in which the air supply and the air discharge are on the same side of the support; bandes, there is a convection flow, with the textile material being loose (expedient in folds) lies on the carrier tape and as a result can shrink freely. In the following drying zone, on the other hand, the hot air flows through the textile goods from top to bottom, the textile goods being supported on the conveyor belt. In this drying zone, a particularly high specific drying performance can be achieved when using high flow rates of hot air.
By repeating these drying zones with different air flow in the device according to the invention, optimal conditions result both for the actual drying process and for the shrinking process. The repeated succession of zones of the most intensive drying and zones with the possibility of free shrinking leads to a minimization of the space requirements of the dryer with careful treatment of the textile goods.
A particular advantage of the solution according to the invention is that the textile material is transported on one and the same conveyor belt through several drying zones with different air flow. As a result, these drying zones can be moved very close together, which shortens the overall length of the dryer, reduces heat losses and simplifies the construction considerably.
Appropriate embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims and are explained in connection with the description of an embodiment.

The device 1 illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2 is used for hot air drying of
The device 1 has a
In the exemplary embodiment illustrated (cf. in particular FIG. 1), four drying zones, one behind the other in the longitudinal direction of the device 1, are provided in each drying level, namely the drying zones 7 to 10 in the upper drying level and the drying zones 11 to 14 in the lower drying level , each seen in the order in which the
The drying zones 7 to 14 have two types of air flow which are different in principle. In the
Fig.2) reichende Düsenkästen (obere Düsenkästen 15 und untere Düsenkästen 16). Each
The advantage of the
Fig.3). In order to prevent the
The
A particularly expedient structure of the device 1 results from the cross-sectional illustration in FIG. 2. As has already been mentioned above, two drying zones lying one above the other with different air guidance each form a drying section. In FIG. 2, the drying section is formed by the suction drying zone 8 lying above and the
So that the most uniform drying treatment can be carried out over the length of the device 1, it is also expedient to alternately arrange the circulating air fan from drying sections adjacent to one another in the longitudinal direction of the device 1 on one or the other side of the device (in FIG. 2, the fan 21 is on the side arranged on the left long side).
With regard to the description of the mode of operation of the drying section of the device 1 illustrated in FIG. 2, it should also be mentioned that in the drying sections adjacent to the device 1 in the longitudinal direction (with drying zones 7/14 and 9/12), of course, the suction side of the associated one Recirculating air fan with the
While reference to the Figures 1 and 2 an embodiment of the hot air drying apparatus has been described in which the different drying zones are arranged in two superimposed drying decks, it is of course also possible for the T-drying zones in only a single drying deck provided one behind the other, wherein in this floor then only a single, continuous conveyor belt is required. Such an embodiment should be understandable without a graphic representation, since with regard to FIG. 1, for example, only the upper or lower drying level would be omitted.
Finally, it should also be expressly mentioned that a different sequence and / or number of the drying zones which are subjected to different amounts of hot air could also be provided if this would be desirable for a special drying of textile goods.
In addition, it can be particularly advantageous in many cases (for example if the textile material has been heated particularly strongly) to equip the last drying zone through which the textile material is passing with a device for introducing cool fresh air, in order in particular to cool the textile material running out of the device achieve. Such a possibility is indicated in the drying zone 14 in FIG. This last drying zone passed through by the
The fan (not shown) associated with this suction drying zone 14 not only sucks in circulating air from the interior of the
In the same way as described above, a drying device could of course also be used the last drying zone can be formed with only one floor. If only the upper floor were to be present in FIG. 1, then the suction drying zone 10 would be the last drying zone through which the textile material passed, and would accordingly be equipped with devices for introducing the cool fresh air.
