Definitions

  • the invention relates to a cigarette tube pack, consisting of a cuboid shell, in which two cuboid, trough-like inner containers are arranged so as to be displaceable against one another.
  • Packaging containers for rod-shaped, hollow objects are known in many forms. For example, two-part boxes are known in which the objects are inserted in a base part, which is closed by a geometrically identical, larger cover part. On the other hand, packaging containers are known in which the objects are filled in a trough-like container which is surrounded by a correspondingly shaped hollow body, for example matchboxes.
  • Packaging containers are also known which consist of a one-piece blank, a lid part being articulated. Furthermore, containers are known in which the rod-shaped, hollow objects are removed in their longitudinal direction, while in the containers described above the removal takes place perpendicular to the longitudinal direction.
  • a sliding box in particular for chocolates, consisting of a cardboard box with two box-shaped slides arranged on the side walls and closing the two openings of the cardboard box, each with a tab, each with a sorting insert, the two box-shaped slider have a length corresponding to half the length of the outer carton.
  • the inner containers only partially enclose the amount of objects.
  • This known sliding box is designed such that it is possible to pull out only that section of the slide which contains the desired type of chocolate with regard to the type of chocolate shown on the outer carton.
  • the invention is based on the object of designing a cigarette tube pack of the type explained at the outset in such a way that a larger number of objects can be stored in a packaged manner, the removal of individual cigarette tubes from a partial container being made possible in a simple manner if required.
  • the cigarette tubes to be packaged are rod-shaped, hollow objects made of thin cigarette paper, which are particularly sensitive and easy to damage. These cigarette tubes have a mouthpiece at one end, a filter plug preferably being arranged in the mouthpiece. This results in the peculiarity that the focus of these cigarette tubes is in the mouthpiece area.
  • the filling of cigarette tubes into the packaging containers generally takes place immediately after the production of the cigarette tubes, from a storage container by inserting the corresponding number of cigarette tubes lying parallel to one another into the packaging. It must be ensured that no compression in the axial direction and no crushing in the radial direction can occur, so that the shape-sensitive cigarette tubes in the packaging and thus for the consumer keep their cylindrical shape undeformed.
  • the object on which the invention is based is essentially achieved according to the invention in cigarette tube packs of the type described at the outset in that the trough-like inner containers receive the cigarette tubes lying transversely to the axis of the tube, with each inner container having edge strips which partially overlap its opening on its upper narrow side, and the Width of the inner container corresponds to the length of the cigarette tubes.
  • the design of the cigarette tube pack according to the invention ensures that when a cigarette tube is removed, especially when the packaging is still full, additional cigarette tubes are not inadvertently pressed out of the packaging over the edge of the packaging. It also ensures that when a container is pushed out of the case or when the inner container is pushed back after removing one (or more) cigarette tube (s), no damage to the cigarette tubes can occur, even if, due to the removal, the total surface of the cigarette tubes does not appears more flat but arched.
  • the design according to the invention also has the advantage that an inner container for removing the cigarette tubes can be removed from the envelope, while the remaining cigarette tubes remain protected in the envelope in the second inner container.
  • the fact that the inner container only partially encloses the amount of the cigarette tubes results in a saving of packaging material and easier access to the packaged cigarette tubes after the complete or partial removal of an inner container from the common tube.
  • the inner containers advantageously consist of a one-piece blank.
  • the casing in order to facilitate the removal of an inner container or to prevent the unwanted emergence of an inner container from the casing, it is advantageous if the casing has a punched-out punch on at least one transverse edge.
  • FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a packaging container 1 according to the invention, a covering 2 in the form of an elongated hollow cuboid enclosing two inner containers 3 and 4.
  • the inner containers 3 and 4 are arranged in the longitudinal direction in the envelope 2.
  • the covering 2 can have a punched-out 11 on one transverse edge or on both transverse edges, preferably on the respective upper transverse edges, in such a way that a bendable tab 12 results. This makes it possible to protect an inner container 3 within the casing 2 against unintentional sliding out or to facilitate the removal of an inner container 3 from the casing 2.
  • the inner containers 3 and 4 are trough-shaped, i.e. without lid or closed top.
  • the design can be such that edge strips 8 and 9 are provided on upper narrow sides 6 and 7, which partially cover the free opening of the trough-like inner containers 3 and 4 on the edge.
  • FIG. 2 shows an inner container with filled cigarette tubes 10. It can be seen that the cigarette tubes 10 are arranged transversely to the longitudinal extent of the inner container 3. The edge strips 8 and 9 ensure that the sleeves 10, which are inherently very sensitive to shape, are not deformed by the edge of the sleeve 2 when the inner container is inserted into the sleeve 2.
  • the length L, height H and width B of the inner container 3 or 4 is selected such that each inner container can hold a hundred cigarette tubes 10.
  • cigarette tubes are packed in quantities of 100 pieces.
  • the arrangement in the longitudinal direction has the advantage that an inner container 3 or 4 can serve as a slide ram for the other inner container. This allows easy removal with the greatest possible protection of the rod-shaped, long objects (cigarette tubes), at least half of the packaged objects being protected by the wrapping 2, even if one or more tubes are removed from one of the inner containers.
  • the cuboid design of the casing 2 or the trough-like design of the inner container 3, 4 enables each of these containers to be produced in a simple manner from a one-piece blank, preferably from cardboard.
  • the invention is not restricted to the exemplary embodiment shown and described. It also includes all professional modifications and further training as well as partial and / or sub-combinations of the features and measures described and / or shown.
