Description

Jeder Gelenkzapfen der oberen Traverse ist in einem Kolbenstangenköpf eines im Rahmen angeordneten Druckmittelzylinders befestigt. Am Rahmen sind beidseits jedes Druckmittelzylinders zwei Ständer verankert, zwischen denen der Kolbenstangenkopf des Druckmittelzylinders geführt ist. Die im mittleren Bereich der Traverse befindlichen Ständer behindern die Übersicht und Zugänglichkeit. Die Ausführung mit zwischen den Rollenlagern angeordneten Schwenkzapfen bedingt einen großen Rollenabstand. Eine dichtere Anordnung der Rollen wäre mit erheblichem konstruktiven Aufwand und Schwierigkeiten hinsichtlich der Wartung verbunden. Ein weiterer Nachteil der bekannten Bauart besteht darin, daß es bei einer Schrägstellung der oberen Traverse zu einem erheblichen seitlichen Ausschwenken in Richtung auf die benachbarte Traverse kommt. Um ein Zusammenstoßen benachbarter oberer Traversen bzw. deren Rollen oder Lager zu vermeiden, muß daher zwischen den Traversen ein bestimmter Abstand vorgesehen werden. Dies ist ein weiterer Grund, weshalb bei der bekannten Bauart nicht die bei modernen Anlagen geforderten gleichmäßig engen Rollenabständen erzielt werden können.This pivotability of the upper crossmember in the known straightening machine presses the other roller into the still plastically deformable strand when the one roller deflects during the rocking movement, so that there are local rollings with deviations from the nominal thickness. Beim Schwenken der oberen Traversen 8 verringert sich der horizontal gemessene Abstand zwischen den an den Kolbenstangenköpfen 17 angeordneten Gleitflächen 21, 21', so daß z.
