Description

Sets of accessories which allow the creation of joints in concrete paving are already known.

Document DE-A-2541 030 describes such a set of accessories consisting of a continuous support profile in which another longitudinal profile is fitted. The continuous support profile prevents continuity of the slab below the joint. Document US-A-2 651 243 also describes a set of accessories intended for making withdrawal joints in concrete paving which comprises a front profile in an inverted U shape and a plurality of supports intended to support, at intervals regular, said profile. Each support element has a vertical upper part which will fit between the two arms of the inverted U-shaped profile. The supports are fixed by means of a metal frame which is nailed to the cover of the slab, this frame is complicated and expensive.

The present invention aims to remedy these drawbacks. It relates to a set of accessories intended for the production of shrinkage and expansion joints of a concrete paving in accordance with the text of claim 1.

The invention also includes the possibility of having removable seals and permanent seals according to the statement of the dependent claims and the accompanying drawings show by way of examples embodiments of all the accessories, object of the invention.
  • Figure 1 describes in vertical section and side a permanent seal.
  • Figure 2 describes in section and in profile a retractable joint.
  • Figure 3 describes in section and profile a support.
  • FIG. 4 describes a cross-section support in horizontal section and in profile.
  • Figure 5 is a perspective view of the invention.
  • FIG. 6 describes a method of implementing these accessories.

La figure 1 décrit un profilé en U inversé 1 destiné à rester en permanence dans le béton et à servir de joint une fois le béton durci.FIG. 1 describes an inverted U-shaped profile 1 intended to remain permanently in the concrete and to serve as a joint once the concrete has hardened.

La figure 2 décrit un profilé en U inversé 2 destiné à être retiré du béton pour créer une saignée comparable à celle réalisée par sciage, et qui sera ultérieurement remplie de mastic afin d'assurer son étanchéité.FIG. 2 describes an inverted U-shaped section 2 intended to be removed from the concrete to create a groove comparable to that produced by sawing, and which will subsequently be filled with mastic in order to ensure its sealing.

The supports in FIG. 3 and in FIG. 4 will be described successively.

In Figure 1 is indicated an inverted U-shaped section 1 which has two branches 5. On these two branches there are two ears 6. This section will fit perfectly on the support 3 and thanks to its two ears 6, this section will remain perfectly integral with concrete.

In Figure 2 is indicated an inverted U-shaped profile which comprises two branches 7, intended to be recovered. It will be narrower at the bottom so that it can be easily removed from the concrete when it has set. It will therefore leave a straight groove in the concrete; it will be chewed later.

In FIG. 3, the support 3 comprises a lower part of substantially trapezoidal section, having a large base situated below, which is intended to be embedded in a leveling concrete. The upper part 9, vertical, is intended to fit between the two branches 5 or 7 of the profiles in the shape of an inverted U. At the junction between the upper part and the lower part, on either side of the vertical upper part, there are two grooves 10 intended to receive the base of the end of the branches 5 or 7 of the U-shaped profiles. reversed. Profiles 1 and 2 are held by supports 3 which are arranged right through.

La figure 4 décrit un support de croisement 4 comportant quatre parties verticales 11 en forme de croix où viennent s'emboîter les profilés 1 ou 2 en forme de U inversé aux intersections des joints.FIG. 4 describes a crossing support 4 comprising four vertical parts 11 in the form of a cross in which the profiles 1 or 2 are fitted in the form of an inverted U at the intersections of the joints.

As indicated in FIG. 6, these various accessories will be put in place the day before pouring the paving, and the supports for the profiles 3, as well as the crossing guides 4, will be partially embedded in a first concrete or mortar, in order to ensure leveling and stiffness of profiles 1 or 2. This leveling concrete will have the smallest possible volume. It will ensure the perfect sealing of the profile supports and crossing guides, and should not hinder the possible installation of a welded mesh. The next day, as shown in Figure 6, workers can pour the concrete and ensure its placement with the vibrating rule or not. If profiles 1 have been chosen, they will remain in the concrete, and will serve as a withdrawal and expansion joint.

With profiles 2, it will be necessary to recover them after setting of the concrete and to fill the grooves thus produced with an adequate sealant.

These various accessories, object of the invention, will have an application for all pavements capable of shrinking and where an expansion joint is required.
