Definitions

  • the invention relates to cartridge ammunition for barrel weapons according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a generic ammunition is known from DE-B-1 013 202.
  • a propellant charge sleeve made of metal extends from a rear floor to its front case mouth, in the area of which it is connected to the latter in the vicinity of an essentially tubular caliber rear face of the projectile.
  • an additional element in the form of an ignition tube is arranged in such a way that it positively connects the projectile tail projecting into the propellant charge sleeve to the bottom of the propellant charge sleeve.
  • a caseless propellant charge for projectiles is known from DE-A-1 962 386, but this known arrangement does not meet the requirements in connection with a wing-stabilized projectile.
  • the propellant charge is measured longitudinally axially by a rod-shaped or tubular propellant charge holder, a front end of the propellant charge holder being connected to the projectile tail via a frictional connection.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a cartridge ammunition of the type mentioned, which is characterized by the greatest possible elimination of empties by a type of additional attachment for the floor, which avoids dimensional tolerance problems in a simple manner.
  • a projectile rear part 10 which forms a first region 42, has a stabilizing tail unit 12 and a trailing tracer mount 36 with a tracer set 37.
  • a screw 15 is fastened in a wall 11 and forms a first holder H.1.
  • one end 2 of a wire-shaped support element 1.1 is fixed on the rear part 10 of the projectile.
  • a central bore 28 of the bottom 30, which is only shown in part, of a bottom bore, which is not shown for reasons of clarity and which is partially combustible propellant charge sleeve, is aligned with the rear part 10 of the bullet.
  • the arrangement shown in Fig. 1 is made.
  • a screw-in cup 38 is arranged in an essentially circular-cylindrical projection 32 encompassing the central bore 28.
  • a bore 40 is located in the upward-pointing bottom part 39 thereof.
  • the location of a second holder H.2 is essentially given.
  • an end 3 of the support element 1.1 facing away from the projectile is introduced into the bore 40.
  • the end 3 has a part 4 to be explained as a continuation.
  • the end 3 can be “threaded” into the bore 40 by means of the part 4. Then the part 4 is pulled out in the direction of an arrow 50.
  • the end 3 can be provided with a thread as a form-locking member 5.
  • the support element 1.1 With a nut as a corresponding form-locking member 21, brought over the part 4 and screwed onto the thread 5, the support element 1.1 can be prestressed. After the screwing of FIGS. 5 and 21, the latter form-fitting member lies closely against the underside of the base part 39 forming an abutment 41. An end of the support element 1. 1 projecting in particular with the part 4 downward is now advantageously separated in the immediate vicinity of the form-locking member 21. Then, as shown in FIG. 2, a propellant charge lighter 34 is inserted into the receptacle provided for it and fastened there. The projectile is now positively connected to the bottom of the propellant charge sleeve in the direction of the longitudinal axis A of the train. In order to ensure a minimum propellant gas pressure that should not be undercut when developing the shot for internal ballistic reasons, a predetermined breaking point 46, not shown and described, is advantageously provided in the area of the first holder H.1.
  • two retaining pins 14 are arranged in the wall 11, aligned with one another over a diameter. They serve the two unspecified ends of a bracket 16 - it essentially forms the first holder H.1 in the area 42 for fastening to the rear part 10 of the projectile. With its end 2 on the projectile side, the support element 1.1 is not closer shown manner attached to the bracket 16. While the support element 1.1 in the first exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1 was formed by a wire, it is now designed, for example, as a sufficiently strong thread, for example made of nylon, or as a band. The end 3 of the support element 1.1 facing away from the projectile is fastened by means of a cross member 19 in a tubular, radially resilient pull-in part 22.
  • the pull-in part 22 has an outside saw profile, which forms a ratchet lock with the inside saw profile 20 of a screw-in part 18 for positive locking under tension against the arrow 50.
  • the screw-in part 18 is screwed into the receiving insert 32, the two corresponding threads being designated 26.1 and 26.2.
  • a detachable cord of sufficient tensile strength, for example, is suitable as part 4 going beyond an attachment point 6. 3, the screw-in part 18 is only partially screwed into the receiving projection 32.
  • the pull-in part 22 has already been introduced to such an extent that there is a form fit between 18 and 22 in the event of a tensile stress against the arrow 50.
  • the two retaining pins 14 can, for example, be broken off at a predefinable load.
  • An equivalent effect can be achieved by a targeted combustibility, ie with a burning rate adapted to the relevant circumstances, for example of the material from which the holding pins 14 are made. This advantageously leaves no remainder protruding beyond the aerodynamic contour of the projectile.
  • the support element 1.2 is made of a tubular film and is provided with openings 7, which are intended to help prevent the ignition process from developing the shot.
  • the film is connected to the inner surface 23 of the pull-in part 22 in a manner not shown and described.
  • a cross member 19 'for fastening the part 4 can be arranged removably in the lower region of the pull-in part 22 in a manner not shown.
  • the hose 1.2 can also be made of a woven fabric, whereby there is obviously no need to make openings. Non-combustible parts of the support element arrangement, provided that they impair the flight properties of the projectile, are removed from the tube on the closure side with the bottom of the propellant charge sleeve. In this way, disability is avoided with certainty.
