Aus der US-Patentschrift Nr. 3 794 545 ist eine Vorrichtung zum Aufbringen eines Abschnürbandes, zusammen mit einem von einem breiten Band abgeschnittenen und mit Klebstoff versehenen Bandstück, auf einen Beutel vorbekannt. Die Steuerung erfolgt pneumatisch, wobei eine die einzelnen pneumatischen Betätigungselemente steuernde Nockenwelle mit der bestehenden Anlage verbunden wird. Das gefaltete doppelte Kunststoffband 4, aus welchem bei einer späteren Station die Beutel ausgeschnitten werden, wird über Vorschubwalzen 5 der Siegeleinheit zugeführt. Die Siegeleinheit umfasst im wesentlichen eine Stanzvorrichtung 6, eine als Hebel 7 ausgebildete Zubringervorrichtung, eine Vorratsrolle 8 mit Aluminiumband 9 und eine Transportvorrichtung 10 für das Aluminiumband 9 sowie eine Siegelvorrichtung 11. In den Fig. 1 und 2 sind die pneumatischen sowie die elektrischen Anschlüsse nur teilweise eingezeichnet. Mit der pneumatischen Hebelbetätigungsvorrichtung 18 wird der Hebel nach Übergabe eines ausgestanzten Plättchens um 180° um die Achse 19 verdreht und bringt das Aluminiumplättchen in den sich bei der Siegelvorrichtung 11 befindlichen Kunststoffbeutel. Der andere Hebelarm 20 befindet sich nun vor der Stanzvorrichtung 6. Während dem Aufsiegelvorgang wird ein neues Plättchen ausgestanzt und auf den Hebelarm gebracht. Mit der geheizten Siegelvorrichtung 11 wird das Aluminiumplättchen auf die Innenseite des vorderen Kunststoffbandes 4 aufgeschweisst. Der Hebel 7 ist mit zwei Heizvorrichtungen 21 und 22 versehen, damit die Plättchen vor dem Aufsiegelgang vorgeheizt werden können, um den Aufsiegelvorgang im Interesse einer grossen Produktionsrate möglichst kurz zu halten. Die Anschlüsse 23, 24 für die Heizvorrichtungen 21, 22 des Hebels 7 sind mit einem Heizsteuergerät 25 verbunden.
