Definitions
- the innovation relates to a trough with a multi-part inlet grate, the inlet grate being detachably connected to the trough body.
- each grate section must be made up of several individual parts. After all, after a long period of operation, difficulties in removing the grate sections can arise from the fact that the screw connections can only be loosened with considerable effort as a result of corrosion.
- Claims 2 to 6 contain two advantageous exemplary embodiments for the formation and arrangement of projections on the grate sections.
- the projections are provided with predetermined breaking points. This has the advantage that the projections on the grate sections can be removed by knocking off, so that the grate sections can also be used as start and end grates with conventional attachment to the trough body.
- the grate section 1 shown in FIG. 1, which is inserted in a trough body, not shown has, on its two end faces 2, 3 projections 4.
- the projections 4 consist of continuously vertical webs 5,5 'arranged on the end faces 2, 3 and sectionally horizontally projecting, upwardly angled hooks 6,6'.
- the hooks 6, 6 'according to FIGS. 1 and 2 are of identical design and are arranged on the end faces 2, 3 such that they are offset from one another such that two hooks 6 are provided on the end face 3 and a hook 6' is provided on the end face 2. Another, hinge-like number of hooks can be arranged on the end faces.
- FIG. 1 Here, a dash-dotted portion of a second grate section 1 'can be seen, the hook 6 "of which engages under the vertical web 5 between the hooks 6. At the same time, the hooks 6 engage under the vertical webs 5".
- the projections' 4 on the two end faces 7, 8 are designed so differently that the opposite abutting end faces of two adjacent grate sections can be latched together.
- the projections 4 on the end face 7 consist of a downwardly angled upper nose 9 and two lower support cams 10 with angled support surfaces 11 and on the end face 8 of an upwardly angled lower nose 12.
- the nose 12 is located as a frontal boundary of only one Recess 13 arranged in the central partial area of the end face 8.
- the upper nose 9 is inserted into the recess 13 of the adjacent grate section and hooked with a lower nose 12, wherein at the same time the lower end face 14 angled to the support surface 11 rests on the support surfaces 11 of the support cams 10.
- the projections 4, as far as they protrude beyond the treads on the end faces of the grate sections, can be provided with predetermined breaking points (not shown).

Abstract
Description
The innovation relates to a trough with a multi-part inlet grate, the inlet grate being detachably connected to the trough body.
In troughs with multi-part inlet grates, it is necessary that all grate sections can be removed in order to be able to clean the troughs or to remove objects that have fallen into them. Although it would normally be sufficient for troughs that are located in areas where only pedestrian traffic occurs, the grate sections should be loosely inserted into the grate frame of the trough body, dangers can arise here that grate sections are stolen or removed by gross mischief. In areas with vehicle traffic, there is also the risk that loosely inserted grate sections can tip out or be thrown out of the grate frame of the trough body by vehicles traveling over them. This results in the need to releasably connect the grate sections to the trough bodies to ensure traffic safety. This can be done by screwing, locking or the like of the individual grate section to the trough body, for which purpose, depending on the number of grate sections, a large number of fastening elements plus the necessary bores, threaded holes, depressions, etc. on the grate sections or on the trough body are required. In a known trough design, the individual grate sections are provided with a screw connection and a clamping bracket. The grate section inserted into the grate frame is made by means of the clamp provided with gains bracket, which is pivoted with its outer ends into the recesses provided in the trough body, tightened by tightening the screw connection to the trough body. This type of attachment is very expensive in terms of manufacturing costs. Another disadvantage is that each grate section must be made up of several individual parts. After all, after a long period of operation, difficulties in removing the grate sections can arise from the fact that the screw connections can only be loosened with considerable effort as a result of corrosion.
It was therefore the task of the innovation to find a multi-part inlet grate for a trough which can be manufactured inexpensively, is easy to handle and which largely ensures traffic safety.
This object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.
With these features, it is now possible in a simple manner to produce grate sections, especially if they consist of cast iron, completely with the connecting elements. It is also possible to insert the individual grate sections into the grate frame without additional assembly work and at the same time to latch. Only the start and top grating must ostabschnitten at a plurality of R or screwed in a conventional manner, are locked or locked. In addition, it is also possible to connect only the end grate to the trough body in a conventional manner. For this purpose, however, a counter element for latching the first grate section must be arranged on the initial end wall of the trough.
According to
