Claims (4)

1. A refractory brick (1, 21) for producing the Internal shell and the internal structure of a double-shell tile furnace having an external shell of tiles (4), characterised in that the brick has a central longitudinal rib (12) in two end surfaces (10), a corresponding longitudinal groove (13) in the other two end surfaces (11), and, in one of the two side surfaces (14), at least one first side groove (16) and at least one second side groove (17) which intersects the first side groove at a right angle, each of said grooves being identical to the longitudinal groove (13), wherein the spacing from the edge, of the respective first and second side grooves (16, 17) corresponds to the spacing (x) from the edge, of the longitudinal groove in the end surface (11), and that the second side surface (15) is closed and flat.
2. A brick according to claim 1, characterised in that at least two mutually parallel side grooves (16, 17) are formed in the side surface (14), the centre-to-centre spacing (z) of said parallel side grooves at least corresponding to the wall thickness of the brick (1).
3. A brick according to claim 2, characterised in that the length and the height of the side surface (14) each correspond to the same integral multiple of the wall thickness (d), wherein the number of mutually parallel side grooves (16, 17) is respectively equal to said multiple.
4. A brick according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the width (y) of the longitudinal rib (12) and the longitudinal groove (13) in the respective end surfaces (10, 11) corresponds to half the wall thickness (d) of the brick (1).
