Definitions
- the invention relates to a refractory block for producing the inner shell and the inner structure of a double-shell tile stove, which has an outer shell made of tiles.
- Tile stoves are generally built by the Hafner or stove setter from ceramic tiles, on which ribs are arranged on the back parallel to their side edges.
- the ribs serve to connect the individual tiles to one another by means of connecting brackets or the like, and the joints formed between the tiles are sealed with a refractory mass.
- the internal structure, the flue gas flues are also bricked up from refractory bricks, which have to be adapted to the respective format by processing. Building a tiled stove is a laborious job that requires specialist knowledge and great manual dexterity, and attempts have been made to make this easier by producing the tiled stove with two shells.
- the inner shell and the inner structure are made of refractory bricks, and a tile cladding is applied to the outer surface, which consists of individual tiles or prefabricated tiles.
- a tile cladding is applied to the outer surface, which consists of individual tiles or prefabricated tiles.
- the invention has now set itself the task of creating building blocks of the type mentioned for the manufacture of a double-shell tile stove, which make it possible to build tile stoves in different sizes in a simple manner without special expertise.
- the simplification is intended in particular to enable the inner shell and the inner structure, such as flue gas flues, lintels, etc., to be assembled quickly and easily.
- the component has a central longitudinal rib in two end faces in the two other end faces an opposing longitudinal groove and in one of the two side faces at least a first side groove, and at least one second side groove intersecting the first at right angles, of which each is formed equal to the longitudinal groove, with an edge distance of a first and second side groove corresponding to the edge distance of the longitudinal groove in the end face, and that the second side face is closed and flat.
- a first embodiment provides that at least two mutually parallel side grooves are embedded in the side surfaces, the center distance of which corresponds at least to the wall thickness of the module.
- Building blocks in particular hollow plastic building blocks, which have grooves and ribs on all end and side surfaces, are known from AT-B-314 165.
- the stones described there only have grooves and ribs running in the longitudinal direction on the side surfaces, so that they would hardly be usable for the interior construction of a tiled stove, which requires frequent corner formation due to the flue gas routing, since they are sometimes twisted and reversed should be used.
- the side faces of the building blocks facing the tiles must be closed and flat in order to prevent air cushions between the adjacent tiles and the building blocks, which would impair the heat transfer.
- the solution according to the invention has a closed flat side surface which is arranged on the tile side, so that the inner shell has a flat outer surface on which the tiles can lie snugly and the formation of air cushions or air channels is prevented.
- the formation of intersecting grooves in the inward-facing side surface nevertheless enables the interior structure to be produced without any problems, the longitudinal ribs of horizontally lying building blocks being able to be inserted into the side grooves of the building blocks of the inner shell.
- a thin layer of adhesive mortar is advantageously used to connect the building blocks.
- the building blocks can be prefabricated in the manner of a kit and can be assembled quickly and without specialist knowledge according to a laying instruction or a laying plan. There are no calculations to determine the correct cross-section of the flue gas flues, special attention when masonry the blocks, etc., since the blocks are only properly assembled when a rib of the end face lies in a longitudinal or side groove.
- a particularly advantageous embodiment of a building block which increases the constructive and creative possibilities of the internal structure, provides that the length and height of the side surface each correspond to the same integral multiple of the wall thickness, the number of parallel side grooves being equal to the multiple.
- the building blocks (1, 21) according to the invention preferably have side faces 14, 15, one side face 15 being closed and flat. They are provided with central longitudinal ribs 12 on two end faces 10 and have longitudinal grooves 13 corresponding to the longitudinal ribs 12 on the two other end faces 11. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 as well as 5 and 6, the longitudinal ribs 12 or the longitudinal grooves 13 can be provided on abutting end faces or, according to FIGS. 3 and 4, on opposite end faces.
- each side groove 16, 17 corresponds to that of the longitudinal grooves 13 in the end faces 11.
- the side grooves 16, 17 each have one of the longitudinal groove 13 and thus also the longitudinal rib 12 of the same width y, so that when producing an edge or a corner the Longitudinal rib 12 of the end face 10 can also be inserted into a side groove 16, 17.
- the width y of the longitudinal rib 12 or longitudinal groove 13 in the end faces 10, 11 preferably corresponds to half the wall thickness of the module.
- FIGS. 1 and 2 A preferred embodiment is shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.
- four first side grooves 16 are embedded in the square side surface 14, which have the width y equal to the width of the longitudinal groove 13 and the distance 2 x from one another.
- the edge distance x of the two outer side grooves 16 corresponds to that of the longitudinal groove 13.
- the center distance z of the side grooves 16 corresponds to the wall thickness d, and these correspond to a quarter of the height of the module 1.
- four second side grooves 17 are also provided which intersect the first side grooves 16 at right angles and to which the same relationships apply. Elevations therefore remain between the side grooves 16, 17, the surface of which has the size x times x in the corner area, the size x times 2 x in the remaining edge area and the size 2 x times 2 x in the central area.
- this module can be used for all the intermediate floors, partitions for flue gas flues, etc. required in the interior structure of the tiled stove, since, as shown in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG.
- the block 21 according to FIGS. 3 and 4 shows a variant with rectangular side surfaces 14, 15.
- Two first and second side grooves 16, 17 are embedded in the side surface 14, each having the edge distance x, which in turn is the edge distance of the longitudinal groove 13 and Longitudinal rib 12 corresponds.
- the longitudinal ribs 12 or longitudinal grooves 13 are provided on opposite end faces.
- this module could also be provided with additional side grooves.
- the building blocks 1 When building the inner shell of a tiled stove, the building blocks 1 are displaced so that the closed, flat side surfaces 15 form the outside of the inner shells, so that the tiles 4 can be attached to the building blocks 1 over their entire surface without forming an air cushion or air channels.
- the tiles 4 used for this purpose naturally have flat, closed rear sides without ribs.
- To connect the tiles 4 to one another (FIG. 6), they are provided with circumferential grooves 18 on their end faces 20. T-shaped connecting pieces 19 are inserted into the grooves of the tiles 4, the middle leg of the T-shaped connecting piece 19 connecting two tiles 4 placed against each other and the crossbar of the connecting piece 19 connecting them to a tile 4 of the next group.
- two-shell tile stoves can be pre-calculated, brick by brick, the necessary bricks can be prepared and preferably sold together with the tiles 4 as a self-assembly kit.
- the inner shell and the internal structure can be produced without special expertise according to a laying plan, since the position of the individual building blocks is clearly determined on the one hand by the grooves and ribs, and on the other hand can be easily identified in several ways.
Description
The invention relates to a refractory block for producing the inner shell and the inner structure of a double-shell tile stove, which has an outer shell made of tiles.
Tile stoves are generally built by the Hafner or stove setter from ceramic tiles, on which ribs are arranged on the back parallel to their side edges. The ribs serve to connect the individual tiles to one another by means of connecting brackets or the like, and the joints formed between the tiles are sealed with a refractory mass. The internal structure, the flue gas flues, are also bricked up from refractory bricks, which have to be adapted to the respective format by processing. Building a tiled stove is a laborious job that requires specialist knowledge and great manual dexterity, and attempts have been made to make this easier by producing the tiled stove with two shells. In this case, the inner shell and the inner structure are made of refractory bricks, and a tile cladding is applied to the outer surface, which consists of individual tiles or prefabricated tiles. This work, too, can be carried out almost only by a specialist, although it has made it considerably easier, in particular in the case of the outer shell made of tiles.
The invention has now set itself the task of creating building blocks of the type mentioned for the manufacture of a double-shell tile stove, which make it possible to build tile stoves in different sizes in a simple manner without special expertise. The simplification is intended in particular to enable the inner shell and the inner structure, such as flue gas flues, lintels, etc., to be assembled quickly and easily.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the component has a central longitudinal rib in two end faces in the two other end faces an opposing longitudinal groove and in one of the two side faces at least a first side groove, and at least one second side groove intersecting the first at right angles, of which each is formed equal to the longitudinal groove, with an edge distance of a first and second side groove corresponding to the edge distance of the longitudinal groove in the end face, and that the second side face is closed and flat.
A first embodiment provides that at least two mutually parallel side grooves are embedded in the side surfaces, the center distance of which corresponds at least to the wall thickness of the module.
Building blocks, in particular hollow plastic building blocks, which have grooves and ribs on all end and side surfaces, are known from AT-B-314 165. However, the stones described there only have grooves and ribs running in the longitudinal direction on the side surfaces, so that they would hardly be usable for the interior construction of a tiled stove, which requires frequent corner formation due to the flue gas routing, since they are sometimes twisted and reversed should be used. In tiled stoves, the side faces of the building blocks facing the tiles must be closed and flat in order to prevent air cushions between the adjacent tiles and the building blocks, which would impair the heat transfer.
As mentioned, the solution according to the invention has a closed flat side surface which is arranged on the tile side, so that the inner shell has a flat outer surface on which the tiles can lie snugly and the formation of air cushions or air channels is prevented. The formation of intersecting grooves in the inward-facing side surface nevertheless enables the interior structure to be produced without any problems, the longitudinal ribs of horizontally lying building blocks being able to be inserted into the side grooves of the building blocks of the inner shell. A thin layer of adhesive mortar is advantageously used to connect the building blocks. The building blocks can be prefabricated in the manner of a kit and can be assembled quickly and without specialist knowledge according to a laying instruction or a laying plan. There are no calculations to determine the correct cross-section of the flue gas flues, special attention when masonry the blocks, etc., since the blocks are only properly assembled when a rib of the end face lies in a longitudinal or side groove.
A particularly advantageous embodiment of a building block, which increases the constructive and creative possibilities of the internal structure, provides that the length and height of the side surface each correspond to the same integral multiple of the wall thickness, the number of parallel side grooves being equal to the multiple.
- Figure 1 to 4 two exemplary embodiments of a module according to the invention in plan view and side view,
- 5 shows a part of a wall corner composed of building blocks according to the invention according to FIGS. 1 and 2 and
- Figure 6 shows a detail of the two shells of the tiled stove.
The building blocks (1, 21) according to the invention preferably have
The essential relief in the construction of the tiled stove is achieved by the
A preferred embodiment is shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. Here, four
Due to its large number of side grooves, this module can be used for all the intermediate floors, partitions for flue gas flues, etc. required in the interior structure of the tiled stove, since, as shown in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG.
The
When building the inner shell of a tiled stove, the
Using the building blocks according to the invention, two-shell tile stoves can be pre-calculated, brick by brick, the necessary bricks can be prepared and preferably sold together with the tiles 4 as a self-assembly kit. The inner shell and the internal structure can be produced without special expertise according to a laying plan, since the position of the individual building blocks is clearly determined on the one hand by the grooves and ribs, and on the other hand can be easily identified in several ways.
