Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Schrumpfen von auf einem Gutstapel gezogenen Schrumpfhauben, bestehend aus einer Stellfläche für den Gutstapel und einem daneben angeordneten Mast, an dem eine längs des Randes der Stellfläche bzw. um den Gutstapel herumführbare, mit einem Heißgas arbeitende Schrumpfeinrichtung angebracht ist.The invention relates to a device for shrinking shrink hoods drawn on a stack of goods, consisting of a storage space for the stack of goods and a mast arranged next to it, to which a shrinking device working with a hot gas and attached to the edge of the storage surface or around the stack of goods is attached.
Gutstapel die zum Schutz mit einer Schrumpfhaube umgeben sind, werden vor dem Schrumpfen der Schrumpfhaube gepreßt, um das Volumen des Gutstapels zu verringern und dadurch seine Stabilität zu verbessern. Das Pressen einerseits und das Schrumpfen andererseits erfolgt an unterschiedlichen Bearbeitungsstationen. Dementsprechend besitzt eine Vorrichtung zum Schrumpfen im allgemeinen den eingangs erläuterten grundsätzlichen Aufbau, vgl. FR-A-2 136 112. Nachteilig dabei ist, daß das Volumen des Gutstapels sich zwischen dem Pressen und dem Schrumpfen wieder vergrößert, weil das komprimierbare Material des Gutstapels sich ausdehnt. Die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung ermöglicht das Pressen und Schrumpfen in einem einzigen Arbeitsgang. Dadurch wird nicht nur eine zusätzliche Bearbeitungsstation sondern auch Personal und Zeit gespart. Hinzu kommt, daß die mit der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung bearbeiteten Gutstapel ein nach Maßgabe des aufgebrachten Preßdruckes geringstmögliches Volumen aufweisen, das sich auch nach der Bearbeitung nicht mehr vergrößert, weil die Schrumpfspannungen der Schrumpffolie ausreichen, um den Gutstapel in der endgültigen Form zu halten. Die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung ermöglicht aber auch den Einsatz kleinerer Schrumpfhauben und damit eine Materialersparnis, weil die verwendeten Schrumpfhauben nach Maßgabe des aufgebrachten Preßdruckes auf geringstmögliche Größe ausgelegt werden können.The device according to the invention enables pressing and shrinking in a single operation. Es versteht sich, daß die Fläche der Druckplatte der Fläche des Gutstapels angepaßt sein kann.
