Description

The invention relates to an escape filter device with a protective hood, according to the preamble of claim 1.

It is known again and again that people in fires, z. B. in hotels, badly injured or even burned. They shy away from running into fire gases without breathing apparatus. Simple, ready-to-hand escape filters, which can also be used by inexperienced users, could make rescue easier. However, the prerequisite is that these escape filters fulfill their protective tasks for all head sizes, for glasses wearers and for beards of the chin and cheeks.

A known protective device against air pollution consists of at least one hood, which has a respirator with a filter. The respirator mask and the filter are connected to each other by a connecting piece penetrating the protective hood. The wearer breathes in through the filter and exhales into the interior of the hood through an opening in the face part of the respirator. The exhaled air then flows out through leaks between the hood and the body parts of the wearer. It creates an air curtain that prevents unfiltered outside air from entering the interior of the hood.

Sie sind damit für die Verwendung in Fluchtgeräten, die im Notfall für alle Bedrängten passen müssen, nicht geeignet (DE-U-19 36 347).Nothing is said about the formation of the face part of the breathing mask. However, the illustration shows a half mask that is otherwise customary. It then also seals in a known manner in a sealing line on the face parts of the wearer. Such half masks depend on the quality of the seal on the adaptation to the respective face shape and size. So different sizes are needed. They are therefore not suitable for use in escape devices that have to fit all those in need in an emergency (DE-U-19 36 347).

A known escape filter device with a Schultz hood made of a transparent film does not show these difficulties. Instead of the breathing mask, a breath connection piece is guided into the interior of the protective hood from the filter receptacle and ends in a mouthpiece. The protective hood has a nose pad opposite the upper lip area, for which a strap can be placed outside around the protective hood and closed in the neck. The nostrils are sealed with the -nose pad. However, mouthpieces have the disadvantage that they have to be held with the teeth. This can lead to difficulties for prosthesis wearers. In addition, mouthpieces for children must be made smaller than for adults (DE-C-26 39 545).

Another hood with a replaceable breathing filter is known. The connection to the wearer's respiratory organs is made using a half mask. The hood shows no gas-tight connection between the filter holder and the half mask. In addition, the half mask band is arranged on the inside and then carried out to the outside. It is not clear by which means the pressure of the half mask against the face should be fixed. In addition, it is probably impossible to make the strapping on the hood gas-tight. The mask used here is a normal version. It is not suitable for all head sizes, especially since only a narrow sealing edge is provided, which was previously considered particularly dense with regard to the contact pressure (US-A-2529106).

A gas protection hood for head injuries is known. It consists of a transparent, thin plastic film that can be placed on the head at any desired location and folded accordingly. The filter is connected to a half mask through a connector through the front of the hood. On the outside of the hood, two straps running crosswise over the back of the head are attached on both sides below and above the temples.

This known gas protection hood is not intended as an escape device and therefore cannot be used. There is a completely different task here, namely breathing protection for people with head injuries. A sufficiently tight fit of the half mask is achieved by the tight application by means of many bands. It is not possible to put on an escape filter with an adaptation to the different head shapes by means of an appropriately shaped half mask (DE-B-11 99620).

In Notsituationen bedeutet dies eine weitere Verzögerung und damit zusätzliche Gefährdung (FR-A-801 176).Yet another known half mask within a protective mask does not achieve the object from the invention. This half mask with a breathing filter has a strap that can be slipped over the head and attached directly to it. The half mask in this known embodiment shows no special seal on the face of the wearer. It is only attracted by the strapping. Its size must be adapted to the respective wearer. The reliable seal for ventilation, as required for an escape filter device, to ensure protection for both children and adults with the same device, cannot be achieved here. In addition, this known device first requires the mask to be put on and then the hood to be slipped on. In emergency situations, this means a further delay and therefore additional danger (FR-A-801 176).

The object of the invention is a simple escape filter device with a protective hood that provides safe breathing air conditions for the wearer in emergency situations and is suitable for all existing head sizes as well as for glasses and beard wearers.

The problem is solved according to the characterizing part of claim 1. Advantageous white Further developments are described in claims 2 to 4.

The advantages of the escape filter device according to the invention lie in the design of the half-mask body with the face contact surface. The face support surface fits broadly on the face areas. It bridges the different head sizes and face shapes. The sealing edges of the well-known half masks, which act as line seals, cannot do this. They are always free somewhere and without an attachment and therefore leaking.

The profile design below the face support surface within the half-mask body creates a system pressure that is the same everywhere, which guarantees a safe system. The large contact surfaces with the then small specific contact pressure are extremely comfortable for the wearer. The strap can be tightened vigorously without bothering the wearer. This favors a dense plant. The advantageous developments of the subclaims speak for themselves.

The escape filter device consists of the protective hood 1 with the elastic neck brace 2. It can consist of a transparent film, but also of other material. If this is not transparent, then the window section 3 is incorporated. The half-mask body 4 is arranged opposite the nose and mouth section of the wearer. It penetrates tightly with the receptacle 5 for the filter 6, the protective hood 1. The protective hood 1 has lateral eyelets 7 for receiving the strap 8. The strap 8 can be tightened and held via pull tabs 9 by a known quick adjustment over the neck. Doing so. the face support surface 10 pulled tight against the facial parts.

The shape of the face part of the half-mask body 4 is shown in FIG. 2. The cutout 11 for the nose-mouth area is relatively small in relation to the outer circumference 12 of the half-mask body 4. The sealing on the face takes place via the large face contact surface 10. The everywhere equally large, but comfortable contact pressure is achieved by the special design of the face part below the face support surface 10. 3 shows the triangular support profile 13, which continues along the entire cutout 11 with a changing cross-sectional area. It can be made of foamed material and then filled or, as drawn in dashed lines, it can be a hollow body with walls. 4 shows a further embodiment in which one side of the triangle has been omitted. The sufficient rigidity of the face support surface 10 is achieved by means of intermediate walls 14 arranged at a distance from one another.

The section D-E in Fig. 5 shows that the support profiles 13 end in a lip-shaped system 15, which rests securely on the bridge of the nose.
