Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an escape filter device with a protective hood, according to the preamble of claim 1.
It is known again and again that people are at fire, e.g. in hotels, badly injured or even burned. They shy away from running into fire gases without breathing apparatus. Simple, ready-to-hand escape filters, which can also be used by inexperienced users, could make rescue easier. However, the prerequisite is that these escape filters fulfill their protective tasks for all head sizes, for glasses wearers and for beards of the chin and cheeks.
A known protective device against air pollution consists of at least one hood, which has a respirator with a filter. The respirator mask and the filter are connected to each other by a connecting piece penetrating the protective hood. The wearer breathes in through the filter and exhales into the interior of the hood through an opening in the face part of the respirator. The exhaled air then flows out through leaks between the hood and the body parts of the wearer. It creates an air curtain that prevents unfiltered outside air from entering the interior of the hood.
(DE-GM 19 36 347)Nothing is said about the formation of the face part of the breathing mask. The illustration shows a half mask that is otherwise customary. It then also seals in a known manner in a sealing line on the face parts of the wearer. Such half masks depend on the quality of the seal on the adaptation to the respective face shape and size. So different sizes are needed. They are therefore not suitable for use in escape devices that have to fit all those in need in an emergency. (DE-GM 19 36 347)
(DE-PS 26 39 545)Another known escape filter device with a protective cover made of a transparent film does not show these difficulties. Instead of the breathing mask, a breath connection piece is guided into the interior of the protective hood from the filter receptacle and ends in a mouthpiece. The protective hood has a nose pad opposite the upper lip area, for which a strap can be placed outside around the protective hood and closed in the neck. The nasal pillows seal the nostrils. However, mouthpieces have the disadvantage that they have to be held with the teeth. This can lead to difficulties for prosthesis wearers. Mouthpieces for children must also be made smaller than for adults. (DE-PS 26 39 545)
The object of the invention is a simple escape filter device with a protective hood that provides safe breathing air conditions for the wearer in emergency situations and is suitable for all existing head sizes as well as for glasses and beard wearers.
The problem is solved according to the characterizing part of claim 1. Advantageous further developments are in the
The advantages of the escape filter device according to the invention lie in the design of the half-mask body with the face contact surface. The face support surface fits broadly on the facial areas. It bridges the different head sizes and face shapes. The sealing edges of the well-known half masks, which act as line seals, cannot do this. They are always free somewhere and without an attachment and therefore leaking.
The profile design below the face support surface within the half-mask body creates a system pressure that is the same everywhere, which guarantees a safe system. The large contact surfaces with the then small specific contact pressure are extremely comfortable for the wearer. The strap can be tightened vigorously without bothering the wearer. This favors a dense plant. The advantageous developments of the subclaims speak for themselves.

The escape filter device consists of the protective hood 1 with the
The shape of the face part of the half-
