- the bottom 10 of the vacuum cleaner housing 1 is provided with blow-out openings.
- the blow-out air expelled by the blower unit 5 flows through the blow-out space 6 and from there into the cavity 7.
- the blow-out air is guided through the guide ribs 9 over the filter and penetrates it and occurs at the blow-out openings provided in the bottom of the vacuum cleaner 1 out of the vacuum cleaner housing 1 below.
- the fact that the blow-out air is directed against the surface to be extracted which usually still consists of a sound-absorbing material (carpet), results in a very strong noise reduction. Since the entire bottom of the vacuum cleaner housing 1 is provided with blow-out openings, a relatively large cross section is available for the air outlet, so that the outlet speed of the blow-out air is greatly reduced. This results in further noise reduction.
- the low exit velocity means that no dirt particles or the like are whirled up by the surface to be suctioned off.
- the filter 11 can be easily removed from the vacuum cleaner and cleaned. So there is always one good filter effect guaranteed, which is also further favored by the low outlet speed of the blow-out air. Due to the low outlet velocity of the blow-out air, bacteria can also be absorbed by the filter. In addition, the filter can be soaked with antibacterial agents, so that the absorbed bacteria are killed.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner with a dust bag compartment and a blower unit arranged axially behind it, in which a fan is arranged downstream of the blower unit and the blow-out air flows through a cavity provided between the dust bag compartment and the bottom of the vacuum cleaner housing.
Such a vacuum cleaner is known from DE-AS 16 28 702. In this vacuum cleaner, the cavity provided under the dust bag compartment serves to receive the suction hose. This cavity is used during the operation of the vacuum cleaner to blow out the air sucked in by the blower unit. Due to the long way and the large area, the flow velocity is reduced and thus the noise is reduced.
The invention has for its object to further improve noise reduction.
This is achieved according to the invention in that downward discharge openings are provided in the bottom of the vacuum cleaner housing. The outlet openings provided in the floor direct the outflowing air against the surface to be extracted, which results in substantial sound absorption, especially if the surface to be extracted still consists of sound-absorbing material (carpets).
A further improvement in sound absorption is achieved by providing the entire floor with blow-out openings. As a result, the outflowing air has a large area available, so that the outflow speed is greatly reduced, which results in a corresponding reduction in noise. A uniform distribution of the blow-out air over the entire floor area is achieved in that the filter is arranged on the inside of the floor directly above the blow-out openings. The even distribution also leads to a lower outflow speed, so that the outflowing air is filtered even better by the filter and the escaping airflow does not whirl up dirt particles from the surface to be extracted due to the low flow rate.
Because the filter is removable and made of washable material, it can be easily cleaned, so that there is always a good filter effect.
The subject of the application is described in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing.
In a vacuum cleaner housing 1, a dust bag space 2 is provided, in which a dust bag 3 is attached to an inlet nozzle 4. A blower unit 5, which generates the suction air flow necessary for suction, is arranged axially behind the dust bag chamber 2 in a
The blow-out air expelled by the blower unit 5 flows through the blow-out
The filter 11 can be easily removed from the vacuum cleaner and cleaned.
