Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to improvements made to flexible packaging with expulsion system for their content, of the type comprising a tube extended by a nozzle or a cannula. Such devices are generally used to inject liquid or pasty products into the human body or that of an animal.
Devices of the type in question are known, manufactured either in one piece or in two parts and which contain the exact dose of product necessary for an application.
The first are generally made of plastisol, that is to say obtained in the known manner by molding around a heated mandrel which is dipped in a bath of this material.
The second consist of an extruded tube open at its two ends, one of which is welded to the base of a tip or cannula while the other is closed by pinching once the active product has been placed in the tube.
All these devices comprise a junction between the tube and the cannula which constitutes a shoulder offering a resistance to crushing greater than that of the rest of the tube.
Regarding the devices made in two elements, they require two manufacturing operations so that they are not economical. This manufacturing method also results in additional material at the junction of the two elements, the cost of which increases their cost even more.
In addition, another drawback of the devices produced in two pieces is the frequent appearance of a product leak at the junction between the tube and the end piece so that a check of all the manufacturing batches must be carried out.
The shoulder that is encountered on all devices has a major drawback due to the fact that all the material contained in the tube cannot be entirely expelled. Thus the devices currently sold commercially contain about 30% more active product than is necessary because such an amount remains at the junction of the tube and the cannula.
Finally, as regards the plastisol tubes, they have too great a flexibility which affects the good rigidity of the cannula.
The improvements which are the subject of the present invention aim to remedy these drawbacks and to allow the production of a device of the type in question which is of a very low cost price and avoids too great a loss of active product.
To this end, the packaging according to the invention is produced by injection under pressure of a plastic material, the junction between the tube and the cannula being produced in the form known per se of a neck with two reverse curvatures and which comprises means to deform completely irreversibly under the action exerted on it by the user to cause its complete flattening.

On a représenté en fig. 1 un dispositif suivant l'invention comportant essentiellement un emballage souple 1 et un obturateur 2.There is shown in fig. 1 a device according to the invention essentially comprising a
The
The
Once the device is filled with active product, it has a cross-section as shown in FIG. 3, that is to say that the bottom of its skirt constitutes a
5).To expel the product, simply place the packaging between 1∈ inch and the user's index finger as illustrated in fig. 4, these two fingers bearing respectively on the nrécités swellings. The displacement of the thumb in the direction of the index finger causes the deformation of the
We choose for the polyethylene used to make the packaging, a density or density ensuring a deformation of the
Thus when using the device according to the invention, the entire product is expelled, the loss representing only the volume contained in the cannula.
On notera enfin que la matière plastique utilisée pour l'injection du dispositif suivant l'invention comporte un poids moléculaire assez élevé pour éviter la formation de criques au niveau du bord soudé 3b.Finally, it should be noted that the plastic material used for injecting the device according to the invention has a molecular weight high enough to avoid the formation of cracks at the
It should moreover be understood that the above description has been given only by way of example and that it in no way limits the field of the invention from which one would not depart by replacing the execution details described by all other equivalents. In particular the
