Abstract

The present invention concerns the production of fancy yarns, in which during open-end spinning a roving is supplied program-controlled to the spinning unit for the yarn to be produced. An jedem derselben hängt eine Vorgarnspule 15. Das von den Spulen 15 sich abwickelnde Vorgarn 16 wird durch je eine Öse eines an der Stange 24 befestigten Fadenführers 32 geführt. Der Spulenträger 23 wird an der Kanne 13 angebracht, indem der Träger 23 mittels des Hakens 26 an die Kanne angehängt wird. Die Spulen 15 sind drehbar an den Tragelementen 31 aufgehängt. Claims (6)

1. Device at an open-end spinning machine for production of an effect yarn, each spinning unit of the open-end spinning machine being fed with fiber sliver deposited in a can and roving wound up on packages, characterized in that a package carrier (23) is removably mounted on the can (13), the carrier (23) having at least one support element (31) which serves for securing a roving package (15).
2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the roving package (15) is rotatably suspended on the support element (31) and in that the roving (16) is fed to the spinning unit (12) via a thread guide (32) mounted on the package carrier (23) while the package (15) is rotating.
3. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the roving package (15) is mounted on a pin extending vertically upwards and secured to a support element (31) and the roving (16) is withdrawn over the head of the roving package (15) and is fed to the spinning unit (12).
4. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the package carrier (23) comprises a vertically mounted rod (24) which has at its upper end a hook (26) which serves for hanging on the upper edge of the can (13), in that this rod (24) is also provided with a hand grip, and in that at its lower end an abutment member (27) is provided which comes into engagement with the can (13).
5. Device according to claim 4, characterized in that the package carrier (23) comprises a horizontally extending bar (28) secured to the vertically mounted rod (24) and extending from both sides thereof and at least on each half of the bar (28) a support element (31) is secured.
6. Device according to claim 5, characterized in that with a can (13) having a circular cylindrical sidewall, the bar (28) has a curvature the radius of which is equal to the radius of the sidewall of the can (13) and engages the latter over its length.
