Dazu wird das erfindungsgemässe Verfahren zum Anordnen eines Rollreifens an einem Metallfass dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein ringförmig geschlossener Rollereifen mit Rinnen- oder Röhrenprofil um das Fass herumgelegt wird, und dass danach die Fasswand auswärts kalt verformt wird um dadurch den Rollreifen fastzuklemmen.
