Description

The invention relates to a lifting device, in particular a muffle.

Already known from DE-A No. 2 237 622, a device for the evacuation of people in the event of fire. This device is designed in such a way that the load slides along the rope hung at a determined location, that is to say that the device slides down when used. To prevent the descent from being too rapid, this device provides a brake which is brought into contact with the sliding sheave by means of a spring energized by a handwheel which can be screwed or unscrewed on a threaded axis. The handwheel is actuated to lock the device on the rope to avoid a rapid fall and slip when the user spans the window sill. Thus, the interaction for locking the brake and the sliding sheave is done in the rest phase by manual locking.

To descend, the user actuates the handwheel so that the spring is no longer under tension and the brake can easily move away from the sliding sheave but fixed in rotation. By unscrewing the handwheel, the brake practically no longer acts on the rope and does not cause any blockage of the sliding device on said rope.

However, if, for one reason or another, the user has not fully tightened the handwheel, in the event of a fall, when the user spans the window sill, the device slides freely on the rope .

From DE-A No. 2,342,244, improvements are made to the above device. These improvements relate to the fixing of the evacuation device on the window sill.

However, no modification has been made to the braking means formed by the brake, the threaded pin, the spring and the handwheel. The means used, ensuring the blocking of the device on the rope, must allow the user to step over the window sill without there being any risk of the device sliding on the rope. When the user is attached to the device, he unscrews the handwheel in order to be able to descend but, in no case, the means used act when, for one reason or another, the user falls.

From DE-A No. 2 258 424, other improvements made to the above device are known. Despite the plurality of parts (six mobile sheaves and two brakes), the system is the same. Indeed, after having set up the device and before using it, the user must tighten the braking means strongly using two handwheels before stepping over the window sill. After hanging on and after stepping over the window sill, the user must release the braking means using the first handwheel and, if necessary, the second handwheel to slide towards floor.

We also know from DE-B n ° 1 300 409 a muffle consisting of two flanges. The first flange can be moved towards or away from the second flange by screwing or unscrewing the flange on a threaded hub of the second flange, this depending on the diameter of the cord. After adjustment made because of this diameter, one acts on screws whose ends engage in recesses provided in the first flange to avoid, during the rotation of the mobile sheave, an involuntary distancing or bringing together of the two flanges. Only the second flange has a frustoconical flank leading, on the one hand, to the outer periphery of the flange and, on the other hand, to a shoulder whereas the first flange comprises only a frustoconical flank but no shoulder. Thus, in the event of separation of the two flanges due to a traction exerted on the cord, the latter tends to be wedged between the frustoconical flank of the first flange and the corner of the shoulder of the second flange and risks bearing against the screw.

Furthermore, from French Patent No. 715,418, a brake lifting pulley is known. This pulley has a fixed yoke fitted with a hook that attaches to the suspension point. Inside the yoke a brake shoe is fixed under the hook. This shoe follows the shape of the pulley and has a similar and opposite throat. The yoke is spring-loaded by two return springs. At rest, the return springs hold the pulley against the shoe, causing the rope to be crushed. If you want to maneuver, you must exert a traction on the pulley either by means of an auxiliary rope attached to a hook secured to the yoke, or by means of a traction exerted on the free strand of the rope, the load being attached to the other strand. However, the shoe does not act on the pulley but on the rope and only a pinch of the latter leading to crushing makes it possible to avoid sliding of the rope between the throat of the pulley and the throat of the shoe.

Also known from European patent application No. 675 is a lifting device, in particular a block consisting of a yoke, provided at its upper part with a fastening member and formed by two parallel wings, one of which has a a notch, an axis and a sheave, mobile on this axis and placed between the two wings of the yoke. This muffle comprises at least one fixed sheave threaded on one end of the axis projecting with respect to the wing of the yoke in which the notch is produced and on which one of the strands of the cord wound around the mobile sheave is capable of being wound up after passage through the notch made in the wing of the yoke interposed between the mobile sheave and the fixed sheave (s).

However, it has been found that, when the free strand of the rope is wrapped around the second fixed sheave, the user frequently acting in a panic, this winding is not enough tight and there is a risk that the rope continues to slide, especially when the load suspended on the other strand of the rope is heavy and that the traction exerted on this strand is strong and brutal as a result of a fall in the load.

Furthermore, it has proved necessary, during experiments, to also block the mobile sheave so that no part constituting the lifting device is in motion.

The present invention aims to remedy these drawbacks.

The invention, as characterized in the claims, solves the problem of creating a safety block making it possible, on the one hand, to bring down a relatively large weight of the order of a hundred kilograms with a low holding force of the order of six kilograms and, on the other hand, increase safety by pinching the strand of cord wound on the second fixed sheave.

On se réfère aux figures 1 à 6.We refer to Figures 1 to 6.

The device 101 comprises a yoke 102 consisting of two vertical wings 103, 104. The upper end 105 of these vertical wings 103, 104 is crossed by an axis 106 serving as a connection between the yoke 102 and a hooking member 107 such that 'a hook. The two wings 103, 104 are crossed right through by an axis of rotation 108 around which pivots a mobile sheave 109.

Is applied against the outer face 126 of the vertical wing 104 a first fixed sheave 114 1 mounted on the axis of rotation 108. This first fixed sheave 114, also has a groove 127 in which is placed the rope 113 held by the flange 122, cover 121 1 . The lower edge 128 of this fixed sheave 114 is located on the same horizontal plane as the lower edge 129 of the vertical wing 104, which allows the passage of the rope 113 from the mobile sheave 109 to the first fixed sheave 114 1 .

La corde 113 est maintenue par le rebord 1222 du capot 1212.There is against the external face 130 of the first fixed sheave 114, a second fixed sheave 114 2 also threaded on the axis of rotation 108. This second fixed sheave 114 2 has two conical sides 116, and 116 2 including the small base 119, , 119 2 is integral with the hub 120. The cord 113 is held by the flange 122 2 of the cover 121 2 .

According to the invention, the device 101 comprises a shoe 131 forming a brake. This shoe 131, made of a non-slip material and, in particular of rubber, is mounted on a sliding plate made of glass fibers 132. This plate 132 includes a vertical light 133 through which passes an axis 134 serving as an element of connection between the plate 132 and the vertical wing 103 of the yoke 102.

The shoe 131 has, at its lower part 135, the shape of a half-sheave provided with a groove 136 adapted to the rope used 113 and, at its upper part 137, a semi-toric boss 138 coming, under the action of the force applied to the rope, enter the groove 112 of the mobile sheave 109.

En cas d'utilisation normale du dispositif 101, la corde 113 s'enroule partiellement autour du réa mobile 109 (voir figures 1 et 2).In normal use of the device 101, the rope 113 is partially wound around the mobile sheave 109 (see Figures 1 and 2).

In the descender phase (see FIGS. 3 and 4), the guarantor 123 of the rope 113 is wound around the shoe 131 by engaging it in the groove 136 then around the fixed sheave 114 1 . Under the effect of the action applied to the rope 113, the plate 132 and shoe 131 assembly slides upwards and the semi-toric boss 138 is introduced into the groove 112 of the mobile sheave 109. The passage of the guarantor of the cord 113 of the shoe 131 towards the fixed sheave 114, is possible because the lower edge 128 of the fixed sheave 114, and the lower edge 129 of the vertical wing 104 are on the same horizontal plane.

Pour bloquer le dispositif 101, il suffit de continuer l'enroulement du garant et de le passer depuis le premier réa fixe 114, sur le second réa fixe 1142 (voir figures 5 et 6).To block the device 101, it suffices to continue winding the guarantor and pass it from the first fixed sheave 114, to the second fixed sheave 114 2 (see FIGS. 5 and 6).

On se réfère à la figure 7.We refer to figure 7.

The lifting device 201 comprises the yoke 202 composed of two vertical wings 203, 204. These two wings 203, 204 are crossed at their upper end by an axis 206 on which is threaded a hub 239 crossed vertically by a threaded axis 240 on which is screwed a hook 241 of the hooking member 207. On the rod 242 of this hook 241 is threaded a sleeve 243 crossed by an axis 244 ensuring the connection between said sleeve 243 and a locking element 245. This locking element 245 cooperates with the tip 246 of the hook 241 to prevent the rope from coming out of the loop 247 of the hook 241.

Celui-ci comporte sur sa face externe 230 une rainure 253 dans laquelle s'engage une languette 254 du second réa fixe 2142.Furthermore, the two vertical wings 203, 204 are crossed by the axis of rotation 208. On this axis 208 is threaded between the internal faces 210, 211 of the vertical wings 203, 204 a needle sleeve 248 serving as a connection between said axis 208 and the mobile sheave 209. This axis 208 also serves as a support for the first fixed sheave 214 1 . The immobility in rotation of this fixed sheave 214 is ensured by a tongue 249 of the external face 226 of the vertical wing 204 engaging in a groove 250 made in the external face 251 of the fixed sheave 214 1 . On the second external face 252 of the fixed sheave 214 1 is applied the elastomer cover 221. This comprises on its external face 230 a groove 253 in which engages a tongue 254 of the second fixed sheave 214 2 .

Le déplacement latéral de l'axe de rotation 208 est annihilé, d'une part, par un élément de serrage 255 vissé sur l'extrémité filetée 256 et, d'autre part, par un épaulement 257 s'appliquant contre la seconde face externe 252 du premier réa fixe 2141.The lateral displacement of the axis of rotation 208 is annihilated, on the one hand, by a clamping element 255 screwed on the threaded end 256 and, on the other hand, by a shoulder 257 pressing against the second external face 252 of the first fixed sheave 214 1 .

Each flange 258, 259 has a frustoconical flank 260, 261 leading, on the one hand, to the outer periphery 262, 263 and, on the other hand, to a shoulder 264, 265. The two shoulders 264, 265 face each other and come to bear against one another as a result of the action of at least one elastic element 266. The two frustoconical sides 260, 261 form between them the groove 267 in which the free strand of the rope is housed. The elastic element 266, disposed in a housing 268 formed in the external face 269 of the second flange 259, is held, on the one hand, by the bottom 270 of the housing 268 and, on the other hand, by a stop ring 271 sliding in a recess 272 leading to the housing 268. This stop ring 271 has a conical hole 273 in which the head 274 of the axis 208 is embedded.

When the user winds the free strand of the rope around the second fixed sheave 214 2 , the flange 259 moves away from the flange 258 and the elastic element 266 is compressed. By releasing the traction exerted on this free strand, the elastic element 266 acts and pushes the second flange 259 towards the flange 258. As a result, the free strand of the cord is pinched between the two frustoconical flanks 260, 261.

The device 201 comprises a shoe 231 crossed by an axis 234 serving as a connecting element between the shoe 231 and the vertical wing 203. A plate 232 is threaded on this axis 234 held by a stop flange 275. The shoe 231 has a vertical light 276. Similarly, the plate 232 is provided with a light 233 as well as the stop flange 275. Therefore, the assembly formed by the pad 231, the plate 232 and the stop flange 275 can slide vertically. The shoe 231 has at its lower part 235 a groove 236 in which the rope is housed and at its upper part 237 a semi-toric boss 238 which, in the event of operation, engages in the groove 212 of the mobile sheave 209 and blocks this last.
