- a support is mounted on a pivot and the support in turn carries the end points of the axes on which the feed rollers are mounted, which equalizes the forces applied by the feed rollers located at the front and back of the stage.
- the positioning of the feed roller supports forwards and backwards is traditionally done by tightening or loosening screws passing through buttonholes with lost or adjusting movement, formed in the supports or by respecting positions for the precisely defined supports. on the chassis. If the elements are slightly offset from their appropriate position, the different pressures applied by the rollers cause a defective feeding of the paper and these elements must then be adjusted empirically.

- the rod 37 By actuating the lever 40 for releasing the paper, the rod 37 is driven in rotation and its eccentrics 39 come to bear on the frame 22, on either side of the ball joint. The downward forces exerted by the eccentrics then cause the deformation of the frame 22, which curves by pressing on the stud 44. As a result, the feed rollers 30, 32 are separated from the surface of the plate 34, which allows the introduction or removal of paper.
