Ferner ist diese Halterung viel zu schmal, als daß sie auch auf ebenem Boden einem üblichen, gegebenenfalls größeren Verkehrsschild einen sicheren Halt geben würde. Das Schild würde auf einer solchen schmalen Aufsteck-Halterung leicht kippen und wäre nicht windsicher. Diese Aufsteck-Halterung läßt sich auch nicht durch Gewichte beschweren und damit kipp- und windsicherer machen. Die Halte-Wangen zur Aufnahme des Straßenleitpfostens selbst, sind für Schilderpfosten ungeeignet. Das Schild (9) selbst ist an einem Pfosten (8) in den Sockel (4) des erfindungsgemäßen Schilderständers hineingesteckt. Zur Sicherung des Pfostens (8) in dem Sockel (4) besitzt der Sockel (4) seitliche Bohrungen (6); in der Figur ist nur die eine Bohrung (6) zu erkennen, die andere ist verdeckt. Die Grundplatte (1), die den Sockel (4) trägt, liegt auf dem abgeplatteten Oberteil der Leitplanke (7) auf. An den Seiten der Leitplanke liegen die Beine (2) an; diese Beine (2) sind nach außen U-förmig hochgebogen. In sie können Kabel oder aber auch Beschwerungsklötze eingehängt werden. Arbeiter, die den erfindungsgemäßen Schilderständer aufstellen sollen, können ihn einfach an den Griffen (3) packen und so aufsetzen. Selbstverständlich können auf der Grundplatte mehrere Sockel (4) oder andere Befestigungsschilfen angebracht sein. So kann insbesondere noch ein zweiter Sockel (4) auf die Grundplatte (1) aufgeschweißt sein, der jedoch runden Querschnitt besitzt, um Schilder (9) festzuhalten, die an einem gewöhnlichen Rohr befestigt sind, Befestigungshilfen in einem solchen Sockel durch eine Klemmschraube oder dergleichen sind an sich bekannt. An die Beine (2) sind vorteilhafterweise seitliche Laschen (10) angeschweißt; in diese Laschen sind Gewindebohrungen (11) eingebracht. Durch diese Gewindebohrungen (11) lassen sich Klemmschrauben gegen die Seiten der Leitplanke (7) drehen, so daß dadurch der Schilderständer mit der Leitplanke (7) fest verkrallt wird. Auf der Grundplatte (1) ist vorteilhafterweise als zusätzliche Ausrüstung ein Batteriehalter (12) aufgesetzt. Dieser Batteriehalter (12) dient der Aufnahme einer Batterie für die Stromversorgung einer Beleuchtungslampe des Schildes (9). Der Batteriehalter (12) kann als Kiste oder aber auch als offener oder verschließbarer Halterahmen ausgebildet sein.
