Dann wird das in der Ebene der betreffenden Prismenfläche stehende Kettenglied mit lotrecht ausgerichteter Gliedebene in die Erweiterung 24 abgesenkt. Seine Breite ist auf die lichte Weite der schlitzartigen Erweiterungen 24 der Durchgangslöcher 21 im Pfostenteil 14 (Fig. 4) abgestimmt. Die Höhe des Halsteils 48 ist zumindest annähernd gleich der Höhe der schlitzartigen Erweiterungen 24. Die Länge des Halsteils 48 ist mindestens gleich der Wanddicke der Prismenflächen 17 ... 19 in der Umgebung der Durchgangslöcher 21 und ihrer schlitzartigen Erweiterungen 24. Die Haltescheibe 49 ist kreisförmig ausgebildet.     - there is at least one of the through holes (21) in each prism face (17...19),
    - the through holes (21) are at least approximately circular,
    - there is a coupling apparatus (44) for coupling a barrier part in the form of a barrier rod (43),
    - the coupling apparatus has a sleeve part (46) whereof the internal cross-section is matched to the external cross-section of the barrier part (43),
    - a closure wall (47) adjoins one end of the sleeve part (46),
    - on the side of the closure wall (47) remote from the sleeve part (46) there is a neck part (48)
    - - whereof the width and height are matched to the internal clearance and to the height of the slot-type extensions (24) of the through holes (21) in the prism faces (17...19) and
    - - whereof the length is at least equal to the wall thickness of the prism faces (17...19) in the area surrounding the through holes (21) and the slot-type extensions (24),
    - the neck part (48) is adjoined by a holding disc (49) whereof the external diameter is smaller than the internal clearance of the through holes (21),
    - for receiving the post part (14) in the base plate (15), there is a holding apparatus (16) by means of which the post part (14) and the base plate (15) can be coupled to one another and separated from one another.
  2. Multi-purpose post according to Claim 1,
    characterized by the following features:
    - the holding apparatus (16) is constructed in the manner of a bayonet closure,
    - there are, as parts of the bayonet closure (16) connected to the post part (14):
    - - at the lower end of the post part (14), a cylindrical shaft part (26) which is fixedly connected to the post part (14) or is preferably integrally formed therewith,
    - - on the shaft part (26), at least one blind hole, but preferably a through hole, which is aligned at least approximately diametrically opposite the axis of the shaft part (26),
    - - a holding pin (27), which is pushed into the blind hole or into the through hole, the length of the holding pin (27) being such that it projects out of the shaft part (26) by a certain amount, in the case of a through hole preferably on both sides of the shaft part (26),
    - there are, as parts of the bayonet closure (16) connected to the base plate (15):
    - - a vertically aligned through hole (28) of circular cross-section, whereof the internal clearance is matched to the diameter of the shaft part (26), preferably in such a way that there is a close sliding fit between these two parts,
    - - in the peripheral wall of the through hole (28), at least one axial groove, but preferably two mutually diametrically opposing axial grooves (29), whereof the shape and dimensions are matched to the end portion of the holding pin (27) projecting out of the shaft part (26).
  3. Multi-purpose post according to Claim 2,
    characterized by the following features:
    - on the post part (14) or on its shaft part (26), preferably at the transition point between these two parts (14; 26), there is a stop face (32) which cooperates with a counter-face (33) on the base plate (15), preferably with the chamfered upper edge of the through hole (28),
    - at the underside of the base plate (15) or at a shoulder of the through hole (28), there is an end face, adjoining each axial groove (29) in the same peripheral direction, in the form of a ramp face (31) whereof the axial spacing from the stop face (33) increases from a minimum value in the vicinity of the axial groove (29) to a maximum value which lies within the elastic deformability of the shaft part (26) and of the base plate (15),
    - preferably, the point on the ramp face (34) having the maximum axial spacing from the stop face (33) is less than a 90° pivoting angle away from the axial groove (29),
    - adjoining this part of the ramp face (34) there is a further face part (35) whereof the axial spacing from the stop face (33) is slightly smaller than the maximum value.
  4. Multi-purpose post according to Claim 2 or 3,
    characterized by the following feature:
    - at the underside of the base plate (15) or at a shoulder of the through hole (28) for the shaft part (26), in the arcuate path of movement of the end portion of the holding pin (27) projecting out of the shaft part (26), a pivot stop is arranged at a point which lies pivoted from the side wall of the axial groove (29) which adjoins it by a pivot angle which is at least approximately 90°.
  5. Multi-purpose post according to one or more of Claims 1 to 4,
    characterized by the following feature:
