Description

The invention relates to a thermally insulated metal profile and a method for its production.

It is known to improve the thermal insulation of metal profiles in that two partial profiles are provided with a heat-insulating intermediate layer. This can be produced by foaming or by connecting intermediate layers.

According to DE-PS 12 45 568, a composite profile bar for casement frames, window frames or the like is known. This consists of an inner and outer metal profile rod as well as a heat-insulating intermediate layer made of two profile strips that run parallel to each other and are braced together. This bracing connects the inner and outer metal profile bars to each other in a heat-insulating manner.

The known composite profile bar can only be used where the accessibility for the clamping elements is guaranteed. Since the bracing is applied by pressure screws, at least one side of the composite profile rod must remain free for assembly purposes.

For certain applications, it is necessary to be able to connect partial profile bars that are not arranged in parallel in a heat-insulating manner.

The object of the present invention is therefore to produce a thermally insulated metal profile in which the heat-insulating material can be braced with the partial profile bars regardless of the accessibility.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by the features specified in the patent claims.

The advantage of the metal profile according to the invention is that it can be assembled particularly easily with simple means even in inaccessible places on the partial profile bars. The fastening of the partial profile bars is sufficiently rigid and absolutely tight against gas and moisture.

  • Fig. 2 Querschnitt durch einen Hohlkörper zum Befestigen der Klemmprofilleisten,
  • Fig. 5 Querschnitt durch ein unzugängliches Eckprofil,
The metal profile according to the invention is to be explained in more detail below on the basis of several exemplary embodiments. Show it:
  • 1 shows a cross section through the metal profile according to the invention with two partial profile bars arranged parallel to one another,
  • 2 cross section through a hollow body for fastening the clamping profile strips,
  • 3 longitudinal section through a metal profile according to F ig: 1 during the tensioning of the clamping profile strips,
  • 4 cross section through a metal profile with partial profile bars arranged at right angles to one another,
  • 5 cross section through an inaccessible corner profile,
  • Fig. 6 longitudinal section through an encapsulated metal profile with which parallel arranged and insulated wall panels are fastened together.

Der Hohlkörper 5 ist in aufgeweitetem-Zustand gezeigt und verspannt dadurch die Klemmprofilleisten, so daß eine feste Verbindung zwischen den Teilprofilleisten eintritt.1 shows a metal profile according to the proposal of the invention, which consists of two partial profile bars 1, 2, two clamping profile strips 3, 4 and a hollow body 5. The hollow body 5 is shown in the expanded state and thereby braces the clamping profile strips, so that a firm connection between the partial profile strips occurs.

In Figure 2, the hollow body 5 is shown in an enlarged view. The jagged formations on the outer circumference support the strength of the clamp connection.

In Figure 3 the partial profile bars 1, 2 and clamping profile strips 3, 4 are shown during the bracing. A mandrel 6 is pulled through the hollow body 5 in the direction of the arrow, whereby the hollow body is expanded:

Fig. 4 shows a simple corner connection between the partial profile bars 7, 8. The clamping profile strips 9, 10 are braced by the expanded hollow body 11 against the C-shaped configurations of the partial profile bars.

Fig. 5 shows a particularly advantageous application of the invention, in which a double-walled box profile is completely closed to the outside and inside. The clamping profile strips are housed within the double wall, and the hollow bodies can be expanded from the wall side without any intervention. If a completely closed, double-walled container is to be produced, it is advantageous to make the connections by shrinking the hollow bodies. This is expediently done in that the hollow bodies are cooled before being inserted into the clamping profile strips.

In beiden Fällen muß das übermaß des Hohlprofils ausreichen, um die Klemmprofilleisten vollständig in die C-förmigen Ausbildungen einzupressen.6 shows a further, preferred application example of the method according to the invention. Here, an outer wall 1 is fastened to the inner wall 2 by the clamping system according to the invention. The clamping system consists of a base plate 3, which is screwed to the outer wall 1. The heat-insulating material 4 lies in the C-shaped design of the base plate 3. The heat-insulating material is braced by the hollow body 5 in the C-shaped designs of the base plate 3 and the opposite anchoring plate 6. Hook profiles 7, 8 are provided for securing under the highest loads. When producing a metal profile according to the invention, it is essential that a tension is applied by oversizing the hollow body. The interference can be generated by the fact that the hollow body between the K lemm- set profile strips and is expanded. However, the hollow body can already have an oversize in the initial state and can be introduced into the metal profile by shrinking, for example by cooling with liquid hydrogen. In both cases, the excess of the hollow profile must be sufficient to press the clamping profile strips completely into the C-shaped formations.

Figure imgb0001
A particularly high clamping effect was achieved with the following alloy:
Figure imgb0001

Diese Legierung zeigt gegenüber Vergleichslegierungen nach der Aufweitung sehr hohe Festigkeitswerte.'A hollow profile can be produced from this alloy, which is easily formable, inelastic and has little resetting. The favorable values are retained even after prolonged use. This alloy shows very high strength values after expansion after comparison alloys. '

Figure imgb0002
Biegefestigkeit besitzen. The following alloy is suitable for producing a welded hollow body:
Figure imgb0002
The usual materials are used to produce the clamping profile strips, which have sufficient rigidity or bending strength.

However, the clamping profile strips must be cut so that their fiber direction is transverse to the axial direction of the hollow body.

Furthermore, as has already been explained in connection with FIG. 2, the hollow body has to be provided with serrated designs on the outer circumference in order to achieve a sufficiently firm clamping effect. These designs intervene in the fiber structure of the clamping profile strips and give the overall profile the required rigidity.
