Es kann somit ein beliebig langer Verfahrweg des Walzgerüstes schnell durchfahren werden, wobei jegliche, räumlich hindernden und baulich aufwendigen Hilfseinrichtungen in vorteilhafter und kostensparender Weise entfallen können. Claims (1)

Walzgerüst, beispielsweise Universalwalzgerüst mit in einer gemeinsamen vertikalen Achsebene angeordneten Horizontal- und Vertikalwalzensätzen, welches zum Gerüstwechsel entweder längs Führungsbahnen auf Rollen direkt in die Walzlinie bzw. aus dieser bewegbar und in der Walzlinie unter Abheben von den Führungsbahnen mit den Sohlplatten verspannbar oder indirekt mittels kurzhubiger Verschiebemittel von den seitlich der Walzlinie endenden Führungsbahnen in bzw. aus der Walzlinie verschiebbar und auf den Sohlplatten des Walzgerüstes in der Walzlinie arretierbar ist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß das Walzgerüst einen ortsfesten Antrieb (14) aufweist, der getrieblich mit den Rollen (10) verbunden und unter Ausnutzung des Eigengewichtes des Walzgerüstes den Verfahrantrieb längs der Führungsbahnen (12) bildet.
