Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para convertir insectos en flujos de nutrientes, tal como un puré, un puré hidrolizado de manera enzimática, una fracción grasa y una fracción proteica. La invención se refiere además al puré (hidrolizado) y a las fracciones que se puedes obtener mediante dichos procedimientos y a su uso como alimento o producto para piensos o como ingrediente de los mismos. La invención también se refiere a un procedimiento de conversión de larvas de insectos en una composición con propiedades antioxidantes. Por tanto, la invención también se refiere a un procedimiento de conversión de larvas de insectos en una composición antioxidante. Además, la invención se refiere a una composición con propiedades antioxidantes que se puede obtener mediante dicho procedimiento y al uso de la composición como ingrediente alimentario que promueve la salud o como ingrediente para piensos.
